Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 1224: Chapter 26: Evil G

For many years, the Jiepengbam God has always watched over him. The divine power of that great deity is everywhere. Just five minutes, just five minutes!

In his bloodshot eyes, everything disappeared. The mountains, trees, sunlight, rocks, everything vanished. Even the sounds seemed to fade away... except for his own heartbeat.

Everything outside the mecha, twisted in the high-speed run.

Distance, time... the whole world was reduced to just these two things.

Over mountains, down valleys, across streams, climbing steep slopes, racing along ridges, finally, that damned battlefield, filled with countless thunders, was right in front of him.

The view cleared up slowly as the slope of the hill disappeared.

Zhongshan Yi stood atop the hill, staring blankly at the valley basin... it was a vision of hell. Countless corpses, countless mecha remains lined up along a winding path stretching towards 415 Highland.

Numerous fiery blazes scattered across the flat ground, thick smoke rolling.

As he expected, the battle continued. However, it was not his armored camp cutting down the enemy; quite the opposite, those Red Mechas were slaughtering them.

Their infantry had already reached the hillside of the 415 position.

Those bastards who escaped alive were using the newly acquired portable missiles and energy cannon to fire at the scattered Jiepeng Mecha. They kept a safe distance, ready to withdraw back to their position at any time.

How many escaped? A thousand or fifteen hundred?

Those guys who weren’t firing were jumping around and shouting. The deafening cheer was surprisingly clear amidst the gunfire and explosions.

The mecha radar suddenly emitted successive alert sounds. Zhongshan Yi turned his head blankly; two armored camps appeared almost simultaneously at the southeastern and northeastern positions of the valley basin.

Those were two camps of the 59th Division.

Looking at the Red Mechas before him still recklessly slaughtering his subordinates, Zhongshan Yi felt a raging fire leap from his heart straight to his brain. All reason burned away completely in that moment!

”Kill! Kill!” His voice trembled, almost like mumbling.

”Kill, just kill for me!” His voice amplified, sounding almost neurotic with excitement.

”Rush up and kill them for me!” Zhongshan Yi roared wildly, pushing the mechanical control lever and charging downhill himself. His actions were too quick, too sudden, so that when the Jiepeng Mecha Warriors snapped back to their senses and swarmed down the hill, he was already nearly four hundred meters ahead.

In the basin, the remaining Jiepeng Mechas were less than a hundred.

”Damn it, trying to kill me, trying to stop me.” Fatty, in the midst of nine gold-tier bodyguards reassembled around him, went on a killing spree, enjoying it immensely, shouting, ”Come on, come on!”

”General, the enemy reinforcements are here.” Markovich reminded.

”Reinforcements?” Fatty looked around blankly, only to see at the southeastern and northeastern directions, countless Jiepeng Mechas pouring out of the hills and valleys like a tide. And directly in front of him, a Jiepeng Spirit Cat led two hundred Spirit Cats with orange joints rushing viciously at him.

”Shameless!” Fatty was so furious he felt smoke coming out of his seven orifices. After painstakingly evening the odds and just gaining some advantage, damn reinforcements arrived! This son of a bitch group is too unreasonable!

”You withdraw first!” Fatty gritted his teeth, staring at the solitary mecha rushing toward him. Seeing the opponent’s arrogance, he felt both aggrieved and indignant.

In a moment, rage surged from his heart and bitterness grew in his gall, pulling the control lever, the mecha soared into the air, ”I’ll do another damn ticket, son of a bitch!”
