Chapter 1221: Chapter 25: The Blade That Cuts Through the Net!_5

If it wasn’t for the development of modern fortifications and portable anti-armor weapons, if it wasn’t for the soldiers with the talent to control Mecha combat, accounting for only one-tenth of the troops, if it wasn’t for the infantry still being able to conduct defensive operations and solve problems that armored units cannot solve in special circumstances, then infantry would have long been eliminated by war.

Upon reaching any location, the first thing infantry does is build a position. Never hope to collide flesh and blood with a torrent of steel!

The mentor’s words once again surfaced in Pei Litong’s mind. Despite so many years having passed, this statement remains so clear. This is an iron rule of modern military theory! Infantry, positions, inseparable!

The battle at the foot of the mountain becomes increasingly intense, small Jiepeng squads rushing out begin to disperse and maneuver on a large scale. From the position, it looks like a fishing net being spread out!

Seeing this tactic of the Jiepeng people, everyone’s hearts sank.

Perhaps, this last three kilometers will ultimately become the insurmountable distance between life and death.

An always charging Spirit Cat retreating into the Red Mecha Group, followed by the entire Mecha company beginning to change formations. Sixteen large Mecha and the remaining fifty-six Mecha, are divided into nine teams. Each team has six vehicles, totaling seventy-two vehicles. Each team is led by a Mechanical God.

They abandoned their previous combat approach, opened the front, and began to advance towards the flanks.

Li Cunxin, Pei Litong, Wang Yuan, Zheng Qin... all Chuckna officers’ faces turned pale in an instant. The commander of the armored company made a mistake. Splitting the only firepower and dispersing equals breaking themselves up, exposing to the enemy’s main forces. Within three minutes, these Mecha teams will be devoured by the Jiepeng people’s torrent of steel one by one.

What exactly is that commander trying to do?!

Suddenly, Li Cunxin’s eyes lit up sharply, Pei Litong’s eyes lit up, everyone’s eyes lit up at the same time!

Just see that under the mountain, nine Mecha teams dispersed, under the leadership of nine War Gods, began a tit-for-tat insertion with the enemy’s small groups.

On the left flank, three Jiepeng Mecha teams, advancing simultaneously at a distance of several hundred meters like fan bones, were about to envelop the front of the infantry queue, when suddenly, a horizontal insertion of Red Mecha team slammed diagonally upward.

Upon seeing this Red Mecha team, the first Jiepeng team on the left flank fired on the captain’s order. However, the opponent’s distance and speed were maintained too precisely.

Just as this Red team horizontally cuts across and dives into the center of the Jiepeng team, another Red team appears unknowingly beside the left Jiepeng team.

With eyes bursting in anger, the left-wing Jiepeng team captain madly ordered the cannon to turn.

A few dozen seconds ago, this Red team was near the Central Group, engaging in firefight. He had no idea how these guys rushed in when his attention was drawn to the enemy cutting through the front.

The captain’s orders were issued quickly.

However, faster than him, was the enemy’s artillery. Each team, with the large Mecha they possess, did not conduct locked attacks but instead performed direct focus fire coverage. The coordinates of the cover spot were incredibly precise. When the Jiepeng Mecha rushed out dozens of meters, it just collided with their fire wave.

The team captain fell.

Luckier than his exploding subordinates, his Mecha’s Drive System was damaged, although he couldn’t move lying on the ground, his life was at least saved.

He stared blankly at the Mecha radar.

As the partner in the center was attacked, the right-wing team also encountered the Red Mecha’s attack.

Several Red Mecha teams appeared like the wind, using distance, speed, and time differences to quickly form a brief slaughter! A few seconds later, when three Jiepeng teams, twenty-four Mecha, had only six left, this suddenly appeared Red Mecha team again suddenly disappeared.

Their extreme speed, with the Mecha War God leading them, made them as fast as lightning, sharp as knives.

They keep intercalating, constantly changing combat directions and routes, constantly appearing in different places, constantly using time difference and distance to form local advantages.

Without the usual locked attacks during Mecha combat, they are like war machines in ancient wars, suddenly appearing, diving, shooting, and disappearing.

If the wide-range split attacks of the Jiepeng Armored Battalion are nets.

They are knives!

Knife breaking the net!

On Hill 415, a dead silence.

Pei Litong slowly raised his hand, watching the Red Mecha slaughter crazily in the enemy’s Mecha crowd, observing the enemy’s formation being forced to contract, seeing fewer soldiers falling in artillery fire, seeing the infantry approaching that lifeline.

”Fire! Charge!”

With Pei Litong’s roar, the warriors, who had long been unable to hold back, felt a numb excitement throughout their bodies. They swiftly leaped out of the trenches and charged down the mountain, their great roars piercing clouds and splitting stones!
