Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 1200: Chapter 8-18: The First Life-or-Death Battle (Part 3)

Now, what needs to be done is to continuously strike the enemy.

No one knows the existence of this team. The Jiepeng people have focused all their attention on the second defense line. This is the best opportunity. Only by hitting hard enough will the pressure on the second defense line diminish, making Milan and Boswell safer.

You bullied my woman, if I don’t beat you to tears, this body is a waste! I am a Federation Hero!

”Fatty! There’s a situation!”

The voice of the little kid came through the communication device’s encryption channel.

”What’s up?” Hearing the little kid’s odd tone, Fatty, who was busy bragging to himself feeling invincible, couldn’t help but shudder.

”SkyNet just sent us a message,” the little kid said urgently, ”The 172nd Division is preparing to forcibly attack Hill 415, and behind them, two armored groups from the 59th Division have arrived as reinforcement.”

Fatty secretly cursed, boasting turned into disaster, the retribution came uncomfortably fast.

”Can you see their full troop deployment?”

”Can’t see it, the permissions required are too high. Damn it,” the little kid was somewhat flustered and exasperated, ”They want us to cancel the previous task and move towards Hill 415. What do we do?”

Fatty’s eyes were darting quickly. He knew, although the little kid could infiltrate SkyNet, what it could do was only monitor a portion of SkyNet’s content. This portion usually relates to the impersonated troops.

For example, the previously impersonated 203rd Division infantry camp.

Everything related to this camp’s combat area, SkyNet will give information through cross instructions. This information may be a directive, intelligence feedback, or just signal validation. And this information, when combined and analyzed by Pipi, can restore SkyNet’s original data.

From this data, Pipi can not only know the surrounding information, but also through data decryption and intrusion, gain higher-level information. This is Pipi’s prowess, once able to capture the opponent’s senior officers, it can even obtain SkyNet’s highest authority. In ordinary people’s eyes, this is almost unimaginable!

But currently, the permissions Pipi can obtain are only at the camp level.

No matter how formidable it is, the information obtained with the infantry camp’s permissions is limited to the 203rd Division and the troops related to the 203rd Division’s combat area. Information about the overall situation can only be accessed if it’s not within the confidentiality scope.

Beyond the combat area, cross-troop, or ongoing overall information, SkyNet will not leak a bit. This is mainly to prevent senior officers from being captured, thus leaking more intelligence, impacting the entire battle situation.

Not just Jiepeng SkyNet, all countries’ military SkyNets are like this. Understand that the first rule of SkyNet is the sealed cabin rule to prevent being utilized by the enemy!

As the name suggests, this rule is like the sealed cabins on a vessel, when attacked, water filling one sealed cabin won’t affect the others; even if ten cabins are flooded, it won’t impact the warship with 2000 waterproof sealed cabins.

And after impersonating this armored camp now, to confuse SkyNet, Pipi separated the communication signals of these Mechas, leaving the Fushan Mechas stationed in place to play the part. That means, in SkyNet, all Mechas of the armored camp are seen as being in place. But these Mechas on the move aren’t displayed in SkyNet.

This was originally not an issue because it was a rapid raid, as long as no one went to that valley in a short time, it wouldn’t be exposed. Once combat starts, this force will morph into another team and disappear among the populace. Even if Jiepeng traces the vines, all they’ll find is a broken one.

But no one expected the Jiepeng Command Center to suddenly change the instructions. Pipi can use directives to deceive SkyNet, but it can’t make the more than two hundred Fushan Mechas stationed in that valley mobilize! Once Jiepeng Command Center’s staff notices the instructions weren’t immediately executed on SkyNet, they’ll inevitably investigate.

Seeing Fatty in the lead stopped, the troops silently halted as well.

Fatty quickly began to simulate on the Mechanical Computer.

Now, the 172nd Armored Division is split into two attack arrows, one towards the 415 position, the other attacking positions 293 and 294. The latter belongs to a continuous frontline; even if breached, Jiepeng’s advancement will face obstruction from subsequent positions. Moreover, that path is quite difficult, Jiepeng’s troop advantage can’t be showcased effectively.

Meanwhile, although the 415 position is defensible, it can conclude everything in one battle. Once cleared, Jiepeng Main Force can charge right in! If the armored units rapidly advance, flank maneuvers for encirclement, follow-up troops for insertion and splitting, the entire second defense line will immediately collapse. At this moment, Jiepeng Command Center issuing the order to converge on the 415 position clearly indicates a determination for a strong assault.

Fatty carefully examined the map, the 172nd Armored Division, apart from the 3rd Group in front of position 415, another two groups positioned behind the 3rd Group and on the left wing.

The camp we are impersonating is located behind the 3rd Group.

If the left-wing troops of the 172nd Division lean towards the 3rd Group, the other two camps behind us also follow, coupled with the reinforced two groups from the 59th Division, we’re practically falling into a wolf’s den!

Three hours...... to assemble these forces into a wolf’s den will take three hours!

Fatty’s focus shifts back and forth between the markers dispersed among the mountains, his hands tirelessly work, one simulation symbol after another appearing out of thin air on the map.
