Chapter 1158: Chapter 8-7: Scrap Mecha (3)

The experienced enemy commander had obviously prepared to send up a mecha in the next attack. This not only posed a threat to the position but was also a blatant test. If the position could only be blocked by suicide attacks with fusion hand grenades, then in the next assault, the enemy commander would send all his mechas without hesitation.

Damn it! Fatty gritted his teeth, staring at that mecha, calculating in his mind. He was completely unaware that a Chuckna sergeant with a livid face had walked up beside him.

”You there, General!” Jonathan glared angrily at Fatty, who had nearly turned him into a sieve, and said through gritted teeth, ”I think you owe me an explanation!”

”Explanation?” Fatty turned around with a confused look, pointing at his own nose, ”Are you talking to me?”

”A few minutes ago...” Jonathan clenched his fist tightly, struggling to control his impulse to beat the face of the chubby man in front of him into a mess, and said angrily, ”You fired at me with your gun. If it weren’t for my luck, I’d be a corpse full of holes by now! How come you don’t want to explain that?”

”A few minutes ago?” Fatty recalled for a moment and suddenly realized, ”Oh, I remember now! At that time, wasn’t that guy’s bayonet about to stab into your thigh?”

”A thigh wound won’t kill!” Jonathan’s gaze grew colder.

”With an arterial tourniquet, it wouldn’t be life-threatening.” Fatty smiled and said, ”However, I ultimately helped you solve a problem, didn’t I?”

”Your way of solving it was to shoot me to death too?!” Jonathan looked at Fatty’s nonchalant expression, furious to the extreme. As a warrior who fought desperately on the battlefield, he hated the kind of officers who disregarded soldiers’ lives the most. Unable to contain his anger anymore, he swung his fist towards Fatty’s face.

Suddenly, the Chuckna and bandit soldiers who had been watching the commotion all stood up simultaneously, looking shocked. Those who were quick-tempered already rushed over.

”Stop! Jonathan!” Nash shouted angrily as he sprinted over.

Jonathan’s fist stopped twenty centimeters away from Fatty’s face. What stopped him was not Nash’s shout but the broom-handle gun pointed at his head in front of him.

”Is it Major General Tian Xingjian?” Seeing Fatty’s gun pointed at Jonathan’s head, Nash was furious. He temporarily dismissed his reprimand to Jonathan, turned his head, and looked at the trembling Fatty with disdain, ”As a general, I think you shouldn’t point a gun at a warrior’s head!”

The position fell silent.

The Chuckna soldiers looked at the pale, trembling Fatty, who only knew how to brandish a gun to show off, with contempt.

The sound of gunfire from the direction of the spaceship crash had been heard by everyone.

When this group of rookies, who didn’t even have guns, followed Sunx Ping and others to the position, all the warriors had no doubt that Sunx Ping and the others had saved these people. No one would think that the gunfire was just a game without the Jiepeng people. Nor would anyone believe that this group of rookies was the main force of the fight.

With such preconceived notions, it was imaginable how angry the soldiers were when they saw most of these rescued people hiding in the trenches like tourists, and their commander was even worse, not only randomly firing at their own people but now pointing a gun at Jonathan’s head!

Several Chuckna soldiers instinctively picked up their guns. Already in a desperate situation, they had long since put life and death aside. Not afraid of death, let alone a Major General who came out of nowhere?!

As soon as Nash gave the order, these men rolling in blood and fire could unhesitatingly mow down these damned blue uniforms. They wouldn’t care about any consequences!

”I didn’t point the gun to kill him,” Fatty said a little gloomily. He hadn’t expected that his superb Chaotic Cloak Gun Skill not only didn’t wow anyone but was actually questioned, which made the vain Master Fatty very displeased. He spat on the ground casually and said fiercely, ”I just don’t have time to explain to you all.”

Saying that Fatty withdrew his arm and raised his gun, casually firing more than ten energy bullets into the dirt beside the corpse of a Jiepeng soldier leaning against the trench wall.

The other Chuckna warriors standing farther away didn’t understand, but Nash and Jonathan, who were standing closer, saw where Fatty’s pistol bullets hit, their eyes twitching violently! The bullets followed the lifeless body of the fallen Jiepeng soldier, tracing a human shape without grazing the corpse at all.

Nash turned suddenly to look at Sunx Ping. Half-closed-eyed Sunx Ping smiled bitterly and whispered a few words in his ear.

With Sunx Ping’s story, Nash’s eyes widened more and more, until finally, he couldn’t hide his shock. When Sunx Ping finished, Nash’s first response was to kick Jonathan hard and curse: ”Get lost!”

Jonathan didn’t move, still staring straight at the corpse leaning against the corner.

Nash turned to Fatty with a salute, saying, ”General, Chuckna Air Marine Corps 51st fully mechanized infantry division, First Battalion, Second Company Commander Nash, requesting instructions.”

As he said this, he magically handed over a crumpled cigarette, calmly saying, ”General, don’t stoop to the level of this country bumpkin. To be honest, not only has he never seen such shooting skills, but even I was startled at the time. Haha, we are all straightforward people; if there’s been any offense, I hope you’ll be magnanimous and forgive us.”
