Chapter 1151: Chapter 8-4: First Arrival on Canglang Star (4)

”Where is this?”

As expected, the old man pointed the lever to another place that had already proven impossible to break through.

Pei Litong was about to answer with a wry smile when suddenly, a Major Staff rushed into the Command Room, not even having time to stand at attention and salute, and shouted, ”Sir, there’s a new development!”

What happened? Everyone’s heart tightened! Pei Litong strode forward, snatching the electronic intelligence folder from the Major’s hand.

”SkyNet discovered an unidentified spaceship breaking through Jiepeng’s space defense line.” The Major’s excited voice was slightly trembling.

SkyNet, compressed to its limit, had lost control of most satellites. However, because Canglang Star is the main star of the Resk, the SkyNet infrastructure is very well-developed, so there are still one or two communication and observation satellites hidden within the outer space asteroid belt. Perhaps, in a few more hours, the control of these satellites will no longer belong to Chuckna. Being able to discover such crucial intelligence at this final moment, how could the Major responsible for SkyNet not be excited?

”The spaceship has crashed at coordinates 1879.5461.32, very close to my left-wing defense line,” the Major continued to report.

The spirits of everyone present lifted.

Although the unidentified spaceship had crashed, this very likely signified a rescue or counterattack action from the Fei Alliance Fleet. Otherwise, which idiot would break into the control airspace of the Jiepeng Fleet at this time?

No need for reminders, the officers had already surrounded the electronic simulation table to check the coordinate position.

However, as they examined it, their expressions changed.

Near the crash site of the spaceship, there was originally a small high ground guarded by an infantry company. But just one hour ago, this company had lost contact. Now, not to mention this forward position, even another position towards the rear of the flank had already fallen. Although the spaceship had crashed, with today’s safety technology, there should be a few survivors. Initially hoping to find them and get some answers, it now seems completely impossible.

In the deathly silence, Li Cunxin brushed off the dirt on his graying hair, muttering to himself, ”I was wondering why the command post location I personally selected got bombed, turns out something huge fell from the sky.”

”Damn it,” Fatty crawled out of the spaceship covered in soot. Just as he stood up from the charred dirt and defiantly flipped the middle finger at the sky, a gunshot rang out.

”Take cover!” Fatty pounced to the ground with the agility of a starving dog lunging at food, then quickly rolled behind a piece of fallen spacecraft armor and pulled out his Mauser pistol. Behind him, over thirty Bandit Army soldiers were stealthily slipping out of the ship one by one, crawling and spreading out, hiding behind the now unrecognizable ship.

Except for Weii Jianshan, who didn’t come due to age and health reasons, Baz, Mombarton, Cosmo, Weiseler, infantry, Long Tai, and Hargrove, the Level 3 Mecha War God from the Mingxin Sect, Wagstaff, the Level 3 Mecha War God from the Thousand Army Sect, and Meng Xun, the Second-level Mecha War God from the Mountain Breaker Sect were all brought along by Fatty.

Although, in the Bandit Army, there were many newer War God Knights whose Mechanical Technology was not inferior to these people, most of the Bandit Army Mecha Force remained at the base. They did not follow the fleet to the Longbow Star System. The only Armored Group within the fleet was too precious for Fatty to risk on such a dangerous mission, so he simply brought these seasoned fighters along.

Listening carefully with his ear to the ground, Fatty signaled to the Bandit Army soldiers.

Everyone stopped.

Fatty crawled half a circle along the largest part of the shipwreck, sneaked to the other side, and suddenly, like a crocodile hunting, he dashed forward swiftly on all fours.

Fierce gunfire chased after Fatty, entering the forest. Tree branches and tall grass cut by energy bullets flew wildly in the air, but in a blink, Fatty’s figure disappeared into the underbrush.

Thirty meters, disappearing stealth.
