Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 1197: Chapter 8-18: Lead Them by the Nose! (Part 2)

In the blink of an eye, all the Mecha were looted clean.

Fatty and his nine elite fighters, each with a Spirit Cat, and the other seventy Spirit Cats were allocated to the seventy most outstanding Mechanical Warriors according to their ranking.

Among the remaining fifty-two Mech Knights, eighteen were driving Fushan, while another thirty-four became the primary controllers of six Evil Dragon Heavy Mecha, twenty War Elephant Medium-sized Mecha, and eight Black Wind Electronic Mechas.

The Heavy Mecha usually consists of a control group of eight people, while the Medium-sized and Electronic Mecha have control groups of four, so the over one hundred infantry who cannot operate Mecha independently became their assistants.

Controlling firepower and electronic equipment is not difficult for people in this Mecha era.

Eighty Ninth Generation Spirit Cats, plus these Heavy, Medium-sized Mecha, and eight Electronic Mechas, form a complete reinforced Armored Company!

Fatty divided the team into four platoons, with the first platoon led by Markovich and the second platoon by Anthony, each commanding thirty Spirit Cats. The third platoon, led by Lieutenant Chuckna Li Weiguo, is the firepower platoon, combining six Heavy and twenty Medium Mechas to form a terrifying long-range attack force.

The fourth platoon is the electronic platoon commanded by the little kid. Eighteen Fushan Mechas serve as Guard Mecha for the electronic platoon, also under the little kid’s command. Lieutenant Chuckna Samson and three other bandit soldiers were conscripted by the little kid, becoming the driver of his electronic ”Flag Armor.”

”Pipi! Has the SkyNet communication code of this camp been cracked?” Fatty asked while opening a seized Jiepeng electronic map as the Mecha were allocated.

Time was pressing, with the distant sounds of gunfire and artillery echoing throughout the valley, as if every inch of the mountain area was in conflict. No one knew how much longer Li Cunxin and the others could hold out.

”Wait......” the little kid in the Electronic Mecha cabin shouted while hurriedly taking over the local SkyNet System of the Armored Camp. Nearby, several Mechanics and Electronic Soldiers skillfully dismantled signal transmitters, stripped signals, connected them to the little kid’s Mecha data ports, refreshed data, disguised as the interrupted signals of Jiepeng 172 Armored Group’s 2nd Battalion, and reconnected with SkyNet.

Moments later, the little kid jumped out and said, ”Done!”

Now, this team has transformed into an Armored Camp, while the previous guise as an Infantry Camp would continue to show as stationed at the abandoned vehicle’s rest area in the enemy SkyNet System.

”General.....” Anthony, with a rosy face, approached Fatty, looked at the more than two hundred Mechas on the tarmac, and regretfully said, ”What do we do with these Mechas?”

The entire team had only over two hundred people; leaving these over two hundred Fushan, two Command Mechas, and several dozen Transport and Repair Mechas here was a real waste. Thinking of the front lines, where many 13th Armored Division’s Mechanical Warriors had no Mechas and had to fight the enemy as infantry, Anthony felt heartache.

”The first line of defense has already collapsed, and the second line could be breached at any moment.” Fatty pointed on the map, ”Leave the Mechas here; we’ll follow this path!”

The officers gathered around to see, inhaling sharply.

”General....,” Anthony said, shocked, ”are you saying we should infiltrate the enemy’s main force area?”

”Seeking life in death, this is the only way?” Fatty’s facial muscles twitched nervously. The little kid covered his forehead beside him; this foolish Fatty couldn’t handle stimulation. Once stimulated, he’d do something crazy!

”Why?!” Major Pang Li exclaimed in surprise, ”General, we could disguise as this Armored Camp and, when taking over the frontline troops, strike them hard. That camp now has less than half left; if we defeat them, we could pass through the defenses and reunite with our main force......”

”No.” Fatty interrupted Pang Li: ”Speaking of meeting the main force, I want it more than any of you. But now is not the time for us to return.”

Fatty looked around and asked, ”Do you want to go back like this? You know, on the front line, with so little force, we can do nothing significant!”

The officers were silent. It was only twenty kilometers in a straight line to the second line of defense! Only twenty kilometers!

That line of defense was like home, constantly drawing them in. Even in death, they wished to die alongside their comrades. If they waited a few hours, they could take out another half Armored Camp and return to their companions amid the horns of victory.

Looking into Fatty’s eyes, everyone was struggling.

Anthony and the two Majors were Chuckna Military Academy graduates, and Nash and the others were battle-hardened. Theoretically and practically, everyone understood this mountainous area had become a dead end. Chuckna’s two divisions were at their limits, while Jiepeng Forces continued to stream to the front lines.

The second line of defense spanned forty kilometers, raging with fire and smoke. In this narrow region, the Jiepeng people had at least concentrated four Armored Groups and ten Infantry Regiments!

For these over two hundred people to cross the second line might be easy, but getting out again would be incredibly difficult. Over a hundred Mechas, if engaged in frontal battle, might not even make a splash.

Getting this far was a miracle; if they went further......God, that would be in the midst of the enemy’s attacking points!

Everyone’s eyes moved. In front, Fatty waited quietly; behind him, nine War God Level bandit soldiers appeared indifferent. It seemed they didn’t care what they would encounter next. The little boy who could invade the enemy SkyNet was squatting, drawing circles on the ground.

”General!” With an unshaven chin, Li Weiguo steeled himself and said loudly, ”Just tell us how to fight! My life, Old Li, is a done deal! Returning is death, so we’ll fight with you!”

This straightforward and direct Major’s words made a resounding impact!

The officers’ blood surged. Li Weiguo was right; these Leray and Mars people were mad. But Chuckna people weren’t cowards; this was their land in Chuckna! Why only watch others risk their lives?!

”General, give the order!”

”Point, and we’ll strike.”

The voices grew louder, the surrounding warriors gathered around. Everyone looked eagerly at Fatty.

Fatty looked around. His kin, after all, carried Chuckna blood. The closer to life and death, to the abyss and despair, the more terrifying power they could unleash.

The desire was to find life in death, and that required this very power!

Fatty’s finger moved along the enemy’s deployment map. Finally, he pinned it firmly on a spot.

The countless classic cases explained by Russell, the foundational military theories passed by Margaret, countless simulations, countless confrontations....everything learned, seen, and thought over four years, all danced and spun in his mind.

At this moment, Fatty suddenly felt his perspective rising higher and higher, his view widening. Even without controlling all the information of Jiepeng SkyNet, Jiepeng’s entire troop deployment and movements seemed as clear as viewing the palm of his hand!

”The Simulation Technique I’ve learned has a principle called clipping the key and going with the flow.” Fatty stared at the electronic map, ”In my specified time, at my specified place..... we’ll lead them by the nose in this fight!”

Fatty looked up and ordered, ”Everyone, board the Mecha. We’ll first cut in, stab behind the 172 Armored Division’s second battalion, and then we’ll turn back and wipe out that Prisoner of War Camp!”
