Counterfeit Hero

If we win this Puluo Town defense battle, Fatty believes that more factions will flock to Puluo Town! Once the bandit army fleet forms initial combat power... even if they only temporarily gain air superiority over Mars, the bandit ground forces will have greater strategic space. By then, no one will be able to stop the advance of the bandit army!

”Heh heh, we have new Mechas.” Kolt laughed, ”I’m itching with excitement!”

”Then scratch it!” Fatty’s pale white belly rolled back and forth in the sunlight on the slightly warm metal shell of the Mecha, making him hum in comfort.

”Colonel....” Kolt asked, ”About Pingqi Ridge..... can we win that?”

Kolt’s words touched everyone’s hearts, and for a moment, the communication channel fell silent.

”Do you think we could lose?” Fatty curled his lips and sighed, ”Hell, I’m more worried that these guys will get so hyped up, they won’t be able to control themselves by then!”

The stifled atmosphere in the communication channel instantly became lively, and various voices mixed together, with the Mech Knights discussing fervently.

”Kolt, think about it. What kind of Mechas are those guys from the 3rd Group driving?” A Second-level Commander from the Mingxin Sect started the post-mortem analysis, ”Don’t say it’s just two Eighth Generation Mecha groups from the Suss Armored Group, even if it’s five or six more, the 3rd Group still wouldn’t lose!”

”That’s right! One comes, one dies. Two come, two die. Has the bandit army ever feared anyone?”

”I like hearing that. When it comes to Mecha technology, the Suss guys can’t even compare to our outer disciples. When fighting the Absolute Kill Stream and the Mountain Breaker Sect, they can rely on their Mechas’ power, but when they encounter us, how could they have any chance?”

”Whether we leave them with shirts or pants all depends on our mood. Piss us off, and we’ll shove a metal rod where the sun doesn’t shine!”

”Meeting us bandit troops is their worst luck. Do they not realize that with our Colonel here, they’d never get an advantage?”

”Exactly! Who is our Colonel? He eats people without spitting out the bones!”

”Pah, Cleo, are you praising the Colonel or cursing him?”

”A slip of the tongue.... hehe... a slip of the tongue!”

”When we get back, let’s drill these guys hard!” Fatty’s face twitched as he listened, feeling fierce inside.

However, Fatty also knew that this was a natural reaction of the Mech Knights relaxing their minds. As civilian Mech Knights who had never experienced real war, they were worried about the current situation of Puluo Town. And this worry, being dispelled by Fatty’s words, showed how much they trusted him.

Fatty was not worried about the battle at Pingqi Ridge.

Heights 205 and 261 had long been fortified like walls of iron. Not only have they built combined defense walls, but also hidden fortresses equipped with small energy shields and Mecha mines at key trench points. Moreover, Heights 205 and 261 serve as mutual shields; if they can’t capture Height 205, they can’t attack Height 261. And even if the enemy captures Height 205, they will face attacks from the elevated position of Height 261.

Moreover, the current SM 3rd Group is already equipped with Ninth Generation Mechas and has undergone rigorous training, making them elite bandit troops. Their own Mecha control abilities, coupled with strict tactical discipline, make it absolutely no problem for them to conduct a defense battle against two Eighth Generation Mecha groups.

Thinking back now, Fatty felt his most profitable move was the raid on Silicon Valley.

In Silicon Valley, he not only acquired a magnetic instrument capable of changing the Mecha combat mode but also gained eleven workspaces, centering around more than thirty top scientists and their many years of research results!

These workspaces are not part of any national academy; they are super research institutions gathered from across the entire universe!

In this survival-of-the-fittest world, no one rides on an undeserved reputation. Those who dare to come here are field elites who are crazy about scientific research! These scientists’ minds are filled with all sorts of wild ideas, and their computers store astonishing research results.

If the Binart Empire or the Feiyang Republic knew about this huge treasure in the Free World, Fatty believed these two countries would not hesitate to start a war over it!

But, they just don’t know! Not only do they not know, but the entire human world, including the Free World, also doesn’t know.

The Human Supreme Council’s restrictions and blockade on the Free World have numbed too many people.

No one believes that the people of the Free World would dare to break the Human Supreme Council’s vows and manufacture any weapon listed on the blockade list. The organization ruling the Free World is just a bunch of interest groups, not comparable to the Human Supreme Joint Council that includes almost all human nations. They are like ants in comparison.

To survive, they might become pirates, rob, and kill, but they wouldn’t dare touch the Human Supreme Joint Council’s red line! Even if there are fifty carriers, a thousand Battleships, and a hundred thousand Military Mechas before them, they wouldn’t dare extend their hand to take them! Besides, they don’t have such a large army to man these things, and even if they did, compared to the continuous formal armies of human nations, how long could that support last?

In the Free World, it is a survival-of-the-strongest world, but there’s one premise—every person in this world must recognize themselves as exiles! No matter how strong or fierce you are in this world, you must follow the rules. Once violated, what awaits you is annihilation!
