Counterfeit Hero

The Mecha piloted by Weii Jianshan, is a modified

Mecha.

Fatty used to have one of these Mechas as well. It was a gift from the owner of the Invincible Mecha Repair Shop, who initially intended to recruit him as a technical consultant. However, years passed, and Fatty never once visited. That Mecha was left at Tanville Christina’s Holy Knight Mecha Company, and its current status remains unknown.

Originally, the techniques of the Tai Sect were known for their strength and defense, which didn’t align well with the speed-oriented . However, as a Second-level Mecha War God, Weii Jianshan possessed nearly seventy moves per second hand speed, allowing him to utilize the strengths of Tai Sect Technique while accommodating other aspects. Thus, the

Mecha, which is relatively mainstream in human society, became his specialized Mecha over the past two years after it was modified to enhance its attack power and engine output.

Angered by Fatty, Weii Jianshan unleashed his sixty-nine moves per second hand speed with full power. The instruction lights on the Mechanical Computer flashed crazily. Lines of commands scrolled densely and swiftly on the computer’s verification screen.

With a massive engine roar, the

charged forward. The low-pressure zone formed by the Mecha’s instant sprint was filled back by the wind, creating a loud, whistling sound. Dust on the ground was fiercely swept up and scattered, covering the sky and the earth.

To the bandit soldiers watching from the sidelines, Weii Jianshan’s charge could only be described as lightning. The strength of a Second-level Mecha War God was truly extraordinary. Moreover, during this period, the guy had been using his power for personal gain, obsessively studying the practical combat guidelines provided by Fatty. His control techniques had improved significantly, more than by just a margin. The Mecha’s aerial assault appeared as if it was blitzing with lightning speed.

To the scientifically minded but physically weaker spectators, the Mecha’s launch resembled a natural disaster. In the violent gust, these odd-shaped individuals with oversized heads and thin bodies ran away in fear, terrified that Weii Jianshan and Fatty might make a mistake and cause collateral damage.

In an instant, the

was already in front of the

Mecha piloted by Fatty. Weii Jianshan pushed the control lever with his left hand several times in succession. The Mecha’s engine let out a sharp whistle, and the

retracted its fists before striking out with a deep ”boom” sound of breaking air, aimed straight at the chest of .

Time seemed to freeze.

Fast and slow no longer had any clear distinction at that moment. In the perception of all onlookers, the ’s advance appeared like a flash of light too swift to blink at, and their focus was just gathering at the moment when the ’s fists were about to hit .

This moment of less than a tenth of a second felt like an eternity.

”Shameless!” With a scream that everyone recognized so well, time resumed its usual pace, and the frozen scene came to life.

”Touching people’s boobs!”

The sleazy Fatty, completely lacking the demeanor of a top bandit general, shouted loudly. With his cry, a bizarre scene unfolded in front of everyone’s eyes.

The ’s fist that was so close to hitting, appeared to collide with an invisible wall due to an odd retreat step by . The swift momentum of the fist, like a shooting star, transformed into a slow, laborious motion. As the ’s hands drew two circles in the air, without any visible crossing of the Mechas’ arms, the

suddenly lost balance, stumbled, and staggered past .

The bandit soldiers on the sidelines were utterly dumbfounded. They understood that these actions of the

in a Mecha fight signified failure. If

launched any attack at this moment, the

would be destroyed.

Having barely managed to regain control of his Mecha, Weii Jianshan sat in the cockpit, dazed. Moments earlier, he had suddenly felt his Mecha lose control. It was as if an invisible rope had tied his hands and feet, making it impossible to move freely.

Clearly, there was no physical contact with Fatty, yet the intangible resistance was very real. When Fatty drew circles with his arms, it felt like the Mecha was involuntarily moving. The sidestep move he attempted had just started before it was altered as if someone had given it a tug.

”What’s going on?” Weii Jianshan was almost driven mad after checking and confirming that his Mecha was perfectly fine.

If the Mecha Martial Arts demonstrated by Fatty earlier had made him feel awe, now it was a feeling of terror! This inconsistent and irreverent guy, where did he acquire all these bizarre techniques? How could other Mecha Knights even survive with him around?

”Come touch me,” Fatty boasted gleefully, ”If you manage to touch me, I’ll tell you.”

There was nothing left to say to such a despicable person. Weii Jianshan charged silently, the fists of the

raining down like meteor showers. He refused to believe he couldn’t even lay a finger on that damn Fatty.

”The sun is out, uh-huh, the boobs are sticking in my sister’s arms, counting stars...”

Amidst Fatty’s raucous, teasing chants that made everyone want to slap him, the training ground was once more filled with swirling dust. The two Mechas entangled, fighting ferociously. Both sides brought out their ultimate skills, pushing the Mechas to their maximum speed. The intense maneuvers resulted in only two shadows being seen in the air.
