Counterfeit Hero

Fang Xiang tightly pressed her lips together, those ragged warships were firing right before her eyes. Secondary cannons, rotating turrets, torpedoes, missiles, and...the main cannon! How is this possible? Now, it’s been less than a minute since their last full volley!

Fang Xiang couldn’t believe her eyes.

What does this mean? This means that this damned fleet not only has speed far beyond the mainstream destroyers of Saleria, possesses incredibly sturdy hulls, terrifyingly effective combat methods, but also advanced rapid recharging technology and an elite crew.

They are premeditated, from the timing of their appearance, the design of their ships, the timing of their firing, the route and speed of their assault...everything, everything is premeditated!

This group of deceivers has tricked everyone! Their despicable behavior makes one indignant! Even from a standpoint hostile to the pirate fleet, Fang Xiang couldn’t adjust her angry emotions—Saleria Navy’s Flower actually believed all of this obediently!

Playing the pig to eat the tiger! These are extremely cunning bastards!

Amid her anger, Fang Xiang felt some fear. She couldn’t imagine what the consequences would be if she was the one encountering such an adversary for the first time. She also couldn’t imagine what these guys would do to the Valor Battleship after defeating the pirates.

”Send a message to the Valor Battleship, try to stay close to the pirate base, if the pirate fleet gets entangled, find a way to disengage, and seize the base first!” Fang Xiang suddenly ordered. She never forgot her duties, even while watching the battle footage, she continuously analyzed.

She couldn’t count on there being good people in this Ragged Fleet. She could only rely on herself.

And now, it was a good opportunity.

From the footage, it looked like the Ragged Fleet had already gained the upper hand. They charged directly into the rear of the pirate fleet for a slaughter, while the pirate fleet had not yet managed to turn around a single warship. At least for the next few minutes, the ragged warships would be unstoppable.

However, Fang Xiang keenly observed that the pirate fleet had not completely lost its ability to resist! Because, the North Star cruiser at the forefront of the formation and three armed merchant ships hadn’t suffered any damage. Now, under the protection of the armed merchant ships, the North Star was turning around; they abandoned their attack on the Valor Battleship and instead tried to rescue the back fleet, and their attention shifted to the leading ragged warship.

If at this moment, the Valor Battleship shows an intention to disengage, then there might be a situation where two dogs bite each other’s tails in the battlefield.

This was the Longbow Fleet’s only chance to not place their hopes on others!

One has to admit, Fang Xiang’s command art had high proficiency. She grasped the key point of the battle situation in an instant, and the situation was evolving exactly as she had deduced.

The bandit army fleet and the Demon’s Eye were entangled in battle.

Except for the North Star cruiser and three armed merchant ships at the front of the formation, as well as one raider, most of the other pirate warships had already been destroyed. The few remaining intact ones were in chaos and could not escape the fate of being destroyed.

The bandit army warships fired shot after shot at the nearby pirate warships, like entering no man’s land. Those civilian vessels, only equipped with armor and an energy shield thin as paper, could not resist the bandit army fleet’s close-range attacks at all.

As time passed, the pirate group’s warships turned into space debris one after another. This slaughter continued until the North Star cruiser completed its turn under the cover of other warships.

Watching the North Star cruiser, which had already aimed its main cannon at the ragged cruiser, Fang Xiang’s heart felt unsure whether to be pleased or bitter.

Although these ragged warships indeed saved the Valor Battleship, Fang Xiang dared not take the risk.

In her view, fate must be in her own hands!

”Sister Xiang, look!” A female aide’s exclamation sounded in Fang Xiang’s ear.

Fang Xiang turned her head, the one who screamed was a round-faced girl named Cecilia Pask, also Fang Xiang’s friend. At this moment, Cecilia’s crescent-shaped eyes were wide open.

Following her gaze, Fang Xiang looked out the floor-to-ceiling porthole on the left side of the bridge.

A reconnaissance ship, with a round belly like a rugby ball, had somehow appeared not far from the warship.

”I have energy!” It flashed a simple light signal, flying around outside.

Fang Xiang was dumbfounded.

”I have energy, oh!”

”I have lots and lots of energy, oh!”

Damn reconnaissance ship, swaggering up and down....
