Counterfeit Hero

The Suss Empire is located at the far east of the human interstellar plane, between Chuckna and the Jiepeng Empire. It is one of the main member states of the Western Alliance, and ranks among the top ten largest countries in human society.

For this country, people can only summarize their impression of her with two words: belligerent!

This is a nation yearning for war, with a race that has an unceasing history of warfare. In the bones of every citizen of this country flows the blood of combativeness.

Even in times of peace, the Suss Empire is the main military force of the Western Alliance in cosmic regional conflicts. Their ships and troops frequently appear in various conflict areas, charging and fighting under the name of the Western Alliance or the Human Supreme Joint Council. For hundreds of years, their national defense budget has been over thirty-five percent of the gross national product. This astonishing figure directly reflects the ferocious military strength of this country.

If Gazalin is a weary leopard exhausted to its limit after hundreds of years of endless conquests and consumption of real national power, then the Suss Empire is a battling lion restrained politically by two superpowers and the Human Supreme Joint Council, geographically cornered by Chuckna and Jiepeng in the eastern corner, conserving strength while restlessly anxious.

Fatty’s body, as usual, began to involuntarily shiver.

In the Miloke Battle, he was just a deputy company commander, a staff officer, with many people above him bearing the responsibility. In the Mezrich Battle, he also had the Southeast Expeditionary Fleet led by Fiscella and the Feiyang Armored Division led by Douglas for reliance. But now—truly having to face such a colossal entity alone, Fatty felt like a naked pig sent to duel against a fully armed lion in the arena.

The two Suss Armored Groups appearing on the Navarre Plain were outfitted with the renowned [Boxing King] mecha in the entire military world. This Eighth Generation mecha became famous long ago. Despite its unattractive gray-brown exterior, which seems clunky and rigid, the Suss Empire’s engine and energy cannon technology still make the [Boxing King] a reliable medium Single Soldier Mecha.

The heavy and ugly armor, the large-caliber energy cannon coupled with engines almost wasted. The Suss mecha’s fondness for extremism and practicality is vividly demonstrated in the [Boxing King]. This kind of military mecha is by no means something a Private Mecha could resist against; the failure of the Absolute Kill Stream is not unjust. In group charges in combat, no matter how skilled a fighter, it’s in vain if they can’t even get close.

In this regard, the bandit army clearly falls behind. Currently, the mecha hastily modified in the industrial zone only amounts to the strength of one regiment, although the pilots are all selected Advanced Mecha Warriors, yet from civilian mech knights to true mechanical warriors, they need the tempering of blood and fire.

In electronic warfare, these two Suss Armored Groups have an absolute advantage. The two electronic mecha platoons have electronic attack intensities dozens of times that of the bandit army. Once battle commences, they can not only completely shield the entire battlefield, cutting off the bandit army’s communication command and intelligence transmission, but also destroy the bandit army’s mechanical computer auxiliary system, making all their combat mecha engage in manual control mode.

What gave Fatty more of a headache was that this time, with the Suss Empire delivering a large quantity of military weapons to the Northern Commerce Alliance via the two armored groups, in the event their troops suffer losses, what will they bring next time with their ships?

”Has our mecha been brought back?” Fatty asked while walking toward the supporting industrial area of the base, addressing Markovich.

”It has been brought back!” Markovich replied in a low voice, ”Fifty mecha, escorted by the Sharp Blade Company throughout, unseen by anyone.”

”How about the people?” Fatty asked.

”Also brought back.” Markovich handed a document to Fatty, ”330 people from the Galaxy Mecha Company, including their boss and research department, all came with us, not one less. Mechanical equipment was also packed and transported back, placed in Workshop 7.”

Fatty nodded. This batch of mecha was custom-ordered by him through the trading network from a small mecha manufacturing enterprise called Galaxy Mecha Company long before the war began. Choosing this enterprise, Fatty exerted a lot of effort, as not only was the enterprise’s predicament at the time relatively easy to control, but its technological strength and previous products also deeply attracted him.

Most importantly, the main assembly plant of Galaxy Mecha Company is located less than thirty kilometers east of Puluo Town, on the outskirts of Central City. It’s the closest mecha manufacturing company to Puluo Town. This time the bandit army emerged from Puluo Town, threatening Central City to the west, not only to aid the Mingxin Sect and other four great schools but also to bring back these secretly ordered mecha along with the whole Galaxy Mecha Company.

”How’s the modification work of the ships at Base No.1 going?” Fatty browsed the list of the Galaxy Mecha Company, and his mind had already leaped to those Saleria battleships being modified in the former Redbeard Pirate Base. If the fifty mecha from Galaxy Mecha Company are the ace of this battle, then these battleships from the Saleria Longbow Fleet are the assurance for the next anti-encirclement operation.”

”Three cruisers have started dismantling,” Markovich, as Fatty’s de facto second-in-command, had already memorized these details so well that he immediately responded, ”Regarding battleships, the ships’ manufacturing department has just completed blueprint reconstruction, starting modification design. However, according to current feedback, modifying battleships requires a lot of newly manufactured parts, and Base No.1’s productivity is limited. We must wait until the cleanup work at No.2 Base is complete before putting battleship modification on the agenda. As for the carrier, blueprint reconstruction hasn’t been completed yet, and we currently have no clear starting point for modifications, requiring you to personally make a trip.”
