Beneath the Red Dragon

Chapter 341: Chapter 129: When the Dragon Group Falls Silent (Part 2)

However, the little elf has never entered the Giant Dragon’s King’s Castle, even though it seems only a wall away.

”Suit yourself, you can choose to sleep here if you like, at least it’s safer than your Elf Garden,”

Karon suppressed the urge to sneeze, lest it blow away the little elf’s skirt. During the time he was restraining his desire for slumber, the Red Dragon’s temper became somewhat irritable, and only Little Elf Riven dared to approach Karon as usual.

Among the Young Dragons in the Dragon Group, Karon is one of the oldest, and he should enter slumber first. However, the other young Giant Dragons have already successively entered their slumber.

But there are too many matters that need arranging in the current territory, he had no choice but to forcibly suppress his desire to sleep, delaying the arrival of his sleep time, causing his body to protest severely against him.

”The Pik Elf race can choose two forms to grow into when they come of age. Which do you think looks better, Karon,”

Riven turned around, her big black eyes staring at Karon’s giant vertical pupils, as if trying to detect the Red Dragon’s reaction from these naturally proud and indifferent eyes.

The Pik Elf race, upon coming of age, experiences a growth in their bloodline offering them two choices. One is gigantification, losing their wings, with Elf Dust fully integrated into their bloodline, becoming an elf.

The second choice is miniaturization, becoming a true Forest Elf, both forms have their own strengths.

Karon’s knowledge tells him this.

The Red Dragon remained silent, strolling through his garden. A cluster of extraordinarily vivid flowers, as though grown from being watered with blood, waved in the breeze, barking as if welcoming their master.

Karon looked at these Bloodthirsty Flowers, dug back from Greenfield Forest, which had once devoured his loyal beloved, and gently said: ”Follow your heart’s will, Riven, you don’t need to change for anyone else, you are the most outstanding little elf among the Pik elf.”

In the distance, the dense branches of the World Tree Ovo swayed in the wind, listening to the always indistinct sounds of conversation, while two Titan Demon Pythons quietly poked their heads out atop the canopy, observing the Red Dragon’s exchange with the Pik fairy, like two curious children.

”Yoo-hoo, that’s right, I am the most outstanding genius among the Pik elves,” Pik Fairy Riven patted her chest with her small hand, stood up from the Red Dragon’s nasal bridge, pointed behind her, and said: ”Your maid is looking for you, Karon, go ahead, I’m going to start creating my sleeping flower house.”

Karon watched the cute and charming little elf disappear into the flower cluster, then turned and walked towards the Chief Maid, Charlize, who was waiting by the garden entrance.

”Master, Bronze Dragon Alina and Blue Dragon Akzhi have already arrived and are waiting for you in the castle.”

Maid Charlize’s figure is not tall and slender, but rather petite and plump, yet her snow-white skin couldn’t help but attract a few more glances from the Red Dragon at present.

Karon nodded and instructed his capable assistant: ”Bring them in, I’ll wait for them here.”

”Also, after I slumber, you can go to the Magic Integration Department and take back a Red Blood Potion for yourself.”

Chief Maid Charlize couldn’t help but raise her head in surprise upon hearing this. She is a close assistant to the Red Dragon and naturally knows what the Red Blood Potion is and what effects it has.

To outsiders, the maids in the castle all belong to the Red Dragon and are seen as his potential slaves and venting objects.

But as one of the maids involved, Charlize knows that these maids are more like service professionals to the Red Dragon. Although beauty is one of the entry requirements, mere beauty would not catch the Red Dragon’s eye, and he would not favor any maid because of it.

Maids who do not display abilities are quickly replaced, given a generous severance pay to return home, and more beautiful and younger maids are brought in to fill the void.

Or they might be reassigned to other departments, depending on the maids’ wishes and Chief Maid Charlize’s allocation.

And apparently, the Red Dragon now recognizes Charlize’s abilities, which makes Charlize elated. She softly exclaimed: ”Master, Charlize is very happy to be able to accompany you for a long time!”

”Mmm,” the Red Dragon did not pay attention to the maid’s display of emotion, he turned and walked towards the steaming giant hot spring pool, one step at a time entered it, leaving only his head, like a sculpture of red metal, lying by the poolside.

When Blue Dragon Akzhi and Bronze Dragon Alina were invited into the garden, the first thing they saw was the Red Dragon lying in the spring pool, like a lake.

The Red Dragon was currently enjoying the service of maids, who were all dressed in short shirts.

A few maids stood on the steps beside the spring pool, using giant brushes to clean and maintain the Red Dragon’s scales, every gap beneath the scales was brushed over, then specialized oil was applied, making the Red Dragon’s scales brighter and more vivid.

Although Karon’s meticulous magic ability allowed him to keep his exterior clean, the maids’ service was also a form of relaxation and enjoyment for him.

Especially now on the verge of sleeping, he always felt itchy all over, and the maids diligently brushing soothed the Red Dragon’s itch.

”You have arrived,” Karon heard the heavy footsteps and opened his eyes, seeing two water-loving Giant Dragons gazing at the hot spring pool created by magic means, casually inviting: ”Come in, there’s no need to be so formal, feel free.”
