Beneath the Red Dragon

Chapter 318: Chapter 116: The Source of Bloodline Evolution_2

Gomot may not care about the fellow giant dragons living in the Frost Wasteland, but the hatred rooted in the white dragon’s bloodline makes him naturally dislike frost giants.

When frost giants catch a white dragon, they chain it up, sever its claws, knock out its teeth, and then turn it into a slave and a sex object for venting.

The white dragon, however, is no better. It doesn’t attempt to enslave the frost giant; it simply eats the giant as food after venting.

”Calm down, Gomot, rationality is the primary virtue of the Five-Color Dragon,”

The white dragon shook his head at the thought of such a scene. The influence from his bloodline became apparent, stirring an unwarranted hatred within him.

At this moment, the personal guards following the White Dragon Lord stopped, as White Dragon Gomot had arrived at his destination—the Magic Integration Department.

”Lord Gomot,” the Imperial Guard Decurion guarding the gate immediately saluted the White Dragon Lord.

White Dragon Gomot nodded and then stepped into this sprawling complex.

The white dragon governs this city, so the Magic Integration Department, considered the most important place in the Giant Dragon Territory, also falls under the white dragon’s jurisdiction.

Yet, the White Dragon Lord is not Jackal Wolfman Yougu; he doesn’t need to personally visit those scholars’ research labs. Instead, he uses a transformation skill to turn into a tall, white-haired youth and walks into an office where scholars await to report to him.

”Oh, honorable Lord Gomot, good day,” Alchemy Professor Ticky stood up from his seat the moment the door opened, ”Would you like a cup of tea from the Eastern Continent, or a sweet glass of fruit wine?”

”A cup of tea, please. I want to taste its flavor,” the white-haired youth Gomot leisurely walked to the large wooden table and sat in the main seat.

A nearby elf maid in a short dress swayed her body as she walked out the door.

Although these elf maids have no access to confidential information or knowledge in this place, for safety’s sake, each elf maid is required to sign a confidentiality contract to prevent potential leaks.

”Speak now, why are you in such a hurry to find me? Hopefully, there is good news about to unfold; my time is quite precious, and I don’t want to hear your nonsense!”

While White Dragon Lord Gomot respects knowledge, he does not favor this alchemy transformation fanatic.

Especially since visiting this alchemy professor’s lab filled with various strange genital organs, the fellow even tried to convince the white dragon to replace his with a bird’s, leaving the white dragon speechless.

”Hehe, Lord Gomot, I’ve succeeded,” the excitement of Magic Alchemy Professor Ticky was palpable, as he said excitedly: ”The first dragon-blood potion sample, I have successfully developed it. Based on my predictions and experimental data, although the diluted dragon-blood potion’s effect is less than one percent of dragon’s blood, it’s a promising start.”

”What? Developed so quickly?” Even the calm demeanor of White Dragon Gomot was broken by delight. Karon’s ’Wise Kings’ plan is not known to every Giant Dragon Lord; currently, only three giant dragons understand this plan, and White Dragon Gomot is one of them.

This white dragon lord understands enough to foresee what the successful implementation of this plan could bring to the Dragon Group.

As Karon states, the dragon’s kingdom will become the nourishment for the Dragon Group, serving as the long staircase two climb, mutually promoting growth.

Just as now, the Dragon Group has already gained immense benefits from mages and conquering the Greenfield Forest Plane, knowledge brings power, and offers the opportunity for evolution.

”You have done well, Master Ticky, I will report your achievements to Karon; this is a noteworthy contribution,” The attitude of White Dragon Gomot changed to one of respect, merely changing faces, the innate skill of the Five-Color Dragon.

”No, no, you misunderstand, Lord Gomot, I did not come for recognition,” The expression of Magic Alchemy Professor became fervent, as he said: ”I need your authorization to conduct experiments related to the dragon-blood potion.”

”The actual efficacy of the dragon-blood potion requires experimentation across various races to be eventually confirmed, to facilitate improvement and optimization.”

Though Gomot’s eyes appeared dark like humans, they quietly shone at this moment, as if two golden lamps were lit.

”You need a large population for experiments?” White Dragon Gomot laughed, and took out a token made from red dragon scales from his arms, but then slightly frowned and put it away.

Taking out a white token representing the talisman of the White Dragon Lord, made by mages from the spatial magic treasure bag in his lapel, he tossed it to Ticky,

”Alright, I agree to your request, you may use my token to extract prisoners held in the cells for experimentation,”

”But let me warn you, do not privately use residents outside of prisoners for experimentation,” White Dragon Gomot’s shining eyes stared at the alchemy fanatic before him, stating word by word: ”If it’s not enough, you can apply to me, I’ll find a way, but remember, this experiment is granted by me, not Karon.”

”Hehe, I understand,” Ticky fully agreed. Although some scholars may lack social skills, their intelligence is not in question; Ticky understands the purpose of this white dragon.
