Beneath the Red Dragon

Chapter 319: Chapter 116: Source of Bloodline Evolution_3

”However, this is just one aspect; I have an even more important matter to report to you, Gomot,” Ticky’s eyes revealed an unusual color, eager for recognition.

Elsewhere, this peculiar scholar was merely regarded as a monster everyone spurned, but within the Dragon Group Territory, filled with creatures, he found long-awaited respect and attention.

”What could be more important than this?” White Dragon Gomot’s gaze returned to calm, but an even deeper curiosity shone in his eyes. In the mind of the White Dragon Lord, Ticky’s completion of the Dragon-blood Potion research was already genius, especially compared to the unlearned Giant Dragons.

”At the onset of my research, I believed that all living beings could achieve life evolution through bloodline modification,” Ticky said, ”But through my research and conjecture, for other races, one might describe it as bloodline evolution, but for noble races like Giant Dragons with ancient lineage, it is more apt to term it bloodline refinement or revival.”

”These ancient noble races all possess their own bloodline sources. Through materials and information provided by Karon, I discovered fragments from the source within the Giant Dragon’s bloodline.”

Ticky spoke eloquently, his expression fervent: ”These fragments are like spell models that form a mage’s spells, shaping the Giant Dragon’s bloodline.”

”If we can continuously evolve the Giant Dragon bloodline towards these fragments rooted in the bloodline source, we can obtain power closer to the source,”

”If those scattered fragments among countless Giant Dragons can be combined into a complete bloodline model, perhaps it would mean that the power of the source could also be possessed by ordinary Giant Dragons!”

Thud, thud thud, thud thud thud,

A dull, forceful beat resounded—not the drums of the warriors, but the suddenly rapid heartbeat of White Dragon Gomot.

The heartbeat of Dragons was heavy and slow, yet now it was as rapid as war drums, showing how excited this White Dragon was.

The two eyes, shining brighter than a Magic Crystal Lamp, also revealed the inner turmoil of this White Dragon. Bloodline refinement, if truly as Alchemy Professor Ticky described, would bring unimaginable benefits and aid to all dragons within the Dragon Group.

Perhaps this could provide even Dragons whose will isn’t as steadfast as Karon’s the opportunity to advance further, guiding most Dragons on a path to revive the glory of ancient bloodlines, while Karon would grow stronger as well.

Whew,

White Dragon Gomot exhaled thick white mist from his nose, his human cheeks faintly transforming into a Dragon-like face. In a hoarse voice, he said, ”Respected Master Ticky, I believe your future research should focus on this aspect. Whatever your requirements, feel free to ask.”

”This research is too profound to be completed by just me and a few apprentices. Therefore, I request to form a large scholar group, a bigger laboratory, and more precise Magic Instruments,”

Ticky relished the excitement and shock in the eyes of the Giant Dragons, feeling as accomplished as seeing those maidens from various races reaching ultimate ecstasy beneath him, one of his numerous pursuits.

”I can agree to this. Even if I must mobilize all the territory’s resources, I will meet your demands,” White Dragon Gomot unhesitatingly promised this seemingly simple yet costly request.

”Of course, most importantly, I need a lot of Dragon Blood, not just from the Five-Color Dragons, a significant amount of True Blood, even live Giant Dragons, for my research.”

Ticky watched the White Dragon Lord’s reaction carefully, lowering his voice: ”Without enough samples for comparative study, I find it difficult to discover those fragments within the bloodline and extract them for comparison and related experimentation — this is the most challenging point.”

White Dragon Gomot knew clearly how difficult this condition was, more so than Ticky did. Extracting large quantities of True Blood would cause incalculable damage to the future potential of Giant Dragons, and in severe cases, prevent them from ever growing.

Though Dragons within the Dragon Group understood the potential benefits of this research, they couldn’t harm themselves for an uncertain future. No one could guarantee that Ticky’s research would definitely succeed, and Ticky himself didn’t dare to promise.

”I cannot decide on this matter; I will report it to Karon for you,” White Dragon Gomot suddenly sighed, feeling that the Dragon Group still needed to grow stronger!
