Beneath the Red Dragon

Chapter 310: Chapter 113: Dust to Dust

Roar,

The incomplete Giant Dragon, biting the Heavy Sword, was torn and thrown before it could react, and a deep cavity was opened under its chest and abdomen, foul-smelling Black Blood gushing from the wound.

In excruciating pain, the incomplete Giant Dragon instinctively tried to use its only right wing to hit the attacked area, wanting to swat the cunning enemy away, but the brainy Imperial Guard Warrior had already rolled under the Dragon’s belly, his blood-stained Short Spear slicing another wound into the Dragon’s relatively weak abdomen.

The Bat-winged Flying Dragon in the sky swooped down at this moment, its sharp claws tearing open a large area of flesh on the incomplete Giant Dragon’s back.

The Flying Dragon Rider on its back did not use the ’boom boom sound’; it was unsuitable for this battlefield. A good soldier should possess sensitivity to the rough situation of the battleground.

He did not equip any Dragon Knight’s Spear weapons either; equipping such weapons on a fast-moving Flying Dragon was undoubtedly foolish and unreasonable.

He merely raised the backup Short Crossbow to protect himself if he fell, abandoning the Short Knife at his waist, embedding poison-tipped Arrows one by one into the incomplete Giant Dragon’s back.

Bang, the incomplete Giant Dragon finally fell after being severely injured, its remaining strength and the excessive loss of Life Energy were insufficient to maintain the form of the incomplete Dragon, transforming back into human shape amidst the black mist, the naked body covered in wounds, twitching unconsciously in the pool of blood.

”See, just a crippled Beast, cannot fly, has no Dragon Breath, even its wisdom is overshadowed by beastly instincts,” Karon said blandly from high above, ”just some pathetic individuals coveting Giant Dragon power, but I’m more curious about the power of the organization behind these dispatched pawns.”

As Karon watched from the valley, where incomplete Dragons were being systematically dealt with by Imperial Guard Warriors and Flying Dragon Riders working together, he descended from the sky with Blue Dragon Doss.

Boom,

The last incomplete Giant Dragon was easily dealt with by the Dragon Descendant Werewolf, who defeated this incomplete Dragon head-on.

In a sense, Werewolves are somewhat akin to Warriors; their methods of power utilization are not very different, both gathering strength within themselves, making them extremely effective in one-on-one combat with their robust bodies and power.

The downside is they cannot cause earth-shattering disturbances; even Saint-tier Werewolves, although capable of leveling a mountain, cannot match the efficiency and grandeur of a Saint-tier Mage’s spell, yet the endurance of Werewolves and Warriors far surpasses that of Mages.

Of course, when Werewolves reach Legend, they have two paths to choose from: one is to maintain the original path but can explore knowledge themselves, choose to embrace Magic, or tap into the potential of their bloodline.

The other path is to fully embrace the power of wild nature, becoming Fenrir’s Wolf, losing the ability to transform between Werewolf and human, along with corresponding human rationality and wisdom.

However, Dragon Descendant Werewolf Saha evidently would not choose the path of becoming Fenrir’s Wolf, as he recently became infatuated with the girls of the Centaur Clan.

”Master, Lord Doss,” Saha wiped clean the foul-smelling blood on his claws, standing before Karon and Doss.

”Hmm, take these living ones back, heal them, see if we can pry anything out, as for the dead ones, hang their heads at the city gates as a warning!”

Karon nodded, letting Saha withdraw with his Warrior subordinates.

”Doss, you go back too, I have to check inside, and you should be at the celebration now,” Karon sent Doss away as well, even if his Dragon Descendant form perished it did not matter, for the inherent beastliness would only return to his body.

”Alright, but be careful, Karon,” Blue Dragon Doss nodded and then soared into the sky; although he did not fully understand Karon’s abilities, he guessed Karon was confident about his own safety.

Tap, tap, tap,

Only after everyone else had departed the valley did Karon approach the Temporarily Interfered and Sealed Teleportation Gate, where the foul-smelling blood was already spilling beside it.

Karon extended his Claw, Magic Spiritual Light surging in his hand, the illusory Teleportation Gate gradually solidifying, regaining its function.

A stench wafted immediately from inside the Teleportation Gate; Karon slightly furrowed his brows, closed off his sense of smell, opened his real vision and perception, aiming to discover the secrets behind the Teleportation Gate.

Whoosh, whoosh,

The sound of massive wind, no, it’s the sound of massive breathing, like a giant Beast exhaling its breath through its nostrils.

A gigantic vertical pupil emerged from the opposite side of the Teleportation Gate, occupying nearly the entire gate’s view; the entire space behind the Teleportation Gate suddenly darkened, blocked by the enormous body of this Beast.

An unimaginably large head subtly swayed against a dim background, in the vertical pupil, filled with indifferent beastliness and chaotic madness, staring motionlessly at Karon who wished to step inside.

This is a Giant Dragon, a Dragon with an unimaginably enormous body; Karon showed a look of pity, sighing, ”Truly pathetic, a Dragon turned into a controlled Beast, a Dragon with extinguished wisdom and will, Dragon Worship Sect, huh, Dragon Worship Sect!”

Karon sneered, the Magic within his body boiling vigorously, all Magic converging in his hand, transforming into an oddly corrosive ray, firing straight and true.

Arungh,

The vertical pupil behind the Teleportation Gate suddenly retracted, tumultuous rolling and thumping sounds erupted from the opposite side.

Crack,

Karon’s Dragon Claw gripped tightly, the entire Teleportation Gate abruptly and rapidly shrunk, shattered in his grasp.

Boom,

The Magic Shield on Karon’s body surface flickered with light, allowing him to rise above in the midst of billowing dust.

”Ashes to ashes, dust to dust...”

Karon hovered in mid-air, Dragon Language intermingled with Magic rolling, causing the surrounding mountains to tremble, rocks collapsing.

Rumble, rumble, rumble,

The surrounding two mountains shook, the ground seemed to sway too, under Karon’s talent, his spell’s power was like divine retribution.

The two mountains, like celestial gods shaking their waists, countless rolling stones cascaded down, crushing the river valley at the foot of the mountains, burying it.

Crack, crack,

In Karon’s Dragon Language, the roots of the two mountains finally could not hold the pressure, snapping at the cracks.

Bang, bang, bang.

The mountains collapsed downwards.
