Beneath the Red Dragon

Chapter 312: Chapter 114: May This World Shine Like Gold (Part 2)

Despite the Ministry of Internal Affairs having reported the matter to Karon many times, Karon turned a blind eye to such issues.

Black Dragon Rosani is also one of the Supreme Lords ruling this territory, and such small matters are hardly considered a privilege, so Karon deftly passed the responsibility to White Dragon Gomot, instructing the Ministry of Internal Affairs to negotiate with Gomot.

Red Dragon Kleyna, the fierce and stubborn female dragon, on the other hand, is a popular Giant Dragon. Aside from sleeping and socializing with the Dragon Group, she almost always roams within the Dragon Group Territory.

The increasingly popular Gladiatorial Arena is where this mother dragon entertains herself, and the mindless beasts and powerful creatures within the territory are her targets for venting her ferocity, with quite a few people being rescued by her from the jaws of beasts.

However, this mother dragon behaves like a proud queen, refusing to accept the gratitude and adulation of the people, which instead causes the populace to view her with a thick layer of admiration.

Only two Metal Dragons, Red Copper Dragon Alfred and Bronze Dragon Alina, brought some surprise and delight to the residents.

For the sake of convenience in daily activities, the two Metal Dragons frequently use the Transformation Skill to assume human form, which is a habit of the Metal Dragons.

And Bronze Dragon Alina, residing far away in Bay Stream City, usually travels at dusk, so in this era of isolated transportation, most people within the territory are still unaware that two Metal Dragons have joined the Dragon Group.

Therefore, even though this is effectively their first public appearance before most of the territory’s people, these Metal Dragons, famous for their kindness and justice, still receive warm welcome from the citizens.

The good reputation of the Metal Dragons naturally allows them to more easily gain others’ trust and affection.

Even among the many Dogman Guards maintaining order with their solemn faces and weapons, the cheers of the people are unstoppable.

”Look, it’s the Metal Dragons. Even these Good Dragons have been swayed by the noble Red Dragon, joining the Dragon Group’s ranks...”

”Quiet,”

The usually stern Giant Demon Fafnir, with an unusually bland expression, commanded sternly, her inherent powerful Spiritual Power soothing the crowd’s agitation.

She proclaimed loudly, ”In the name of the ruler of the Land of Golden, the lord of the Centaur, Jackal-Wolf Man, Ogre tribes, and the noble Dragon Monarch Karon Gogomola, appoint Red Copper Dragon Alfred as the head of the Cultural Propaganda Department of the Land of Golden;”

”Appoint Bronze Dragon Alina as the Governor of Bay Stream City!”

The 4.5-meter-tall Ogre Giant Demon, dressed in splendid robes, stood under the flapping Dragon Banner, her voice amplified by her Spiritual Power, echoing in every citizen’s ears.

The crowd, originally becoming quiet, surged again, as people raised their hands in loud cheers, the warm atmosphere heating up the entire square.

In the distance, the Tree of Life and War Tree-man swayed their branches wildly, releasing a refreshing natural breeze to try and cool down the overly hot atmosphere of the square.

This recognition and appointment of the two Metal Dragons joining the Dragon Group also highlighted their significance. On this grand festival, having them present is highly beneficial for the Dragon Group’s image.

Red Copper Dragon Alfred and Bronze Dragon Alina elegantly placed their right wing gently across their left chest, provoking another round of cheers from the citizens.

Amidst the enthusiastic cheers, the Flame Monarch, perched upon the high platform, stepped forward, head held high, gazing over all the citizens below.

Under the silent gaze of the Supreme Monarch, the cheering gradually subsided, and the crowd became quiet once more.

”The Land of Golden, this vast land, even before having civilization, was a place of coexistence for countless species,” Karon’s voice was as deep and powerful as ever, thick as a mountain, yet reverberating across the arena.

”And I, along with the Dragon Group, establish a civilization here, one that will incorporate various racial cultures, embracing and integrating. Former enemies and rivaled races—Giant Demons, humans, goblins, Ogres, Elves... and even Metal Dragons and Five-Color Dragons—are all becoming members of this territory,”

Karon’s voice gradually grew louder, like an outstanding orator and a speechmaker skilled in stirring the atmosphere, his richly resounding voice echoing in the square.

”But barriers and boundaries of race are mere trivialities; the shared nature of all races will be fused in communication and seeking harmony in differences into a unified, great civilization.”

The Red Dragon’s voice resonated, expressing the most passionate tone,

”The world will shine like gold, civilization will be passed on like a torch, this will be the time of the radiant brilliance of multiple racial civilizations, gathered under one sky, becoming the Golden People!”

The atmosphere exploded in warmth, tumultuously louder than ever. The crowd surged forward, loudly chanting ”Golden People,” spilling their cups of wine, and the young women threw their floral wreaths, some exceedingly bold ones even removing their bodices, waving them like banners.

At this moment, an emerging sense of unity arose spontaneously among these people, a recognition, an acknowledgment, an embryonic form of unified cultural awareness quietly coalescing.

And at this moment, Karon felt an illusory human figure slowly appearing behind him, resembling a human, and also resembling himself.
