Chapter 1335: Three Questions

Bang!

Luke crashed into the wall after getting a punch from Noel, and Silvester, who was watching from the sideline, had his face turn ghastly pale.

”Young Master…” Silvester tried to stop Noel, but Noel simply smiled at his father. ”Father. There is still one more punch.”

Luke smiled wryly, even though it was definitely hurt. He endured everything and didnʼt show any sign of pain. ”Yeah. I owe you two a lot more. To think it can be repaid by two punches, Iʼm already lucky.”

Noelʼs expression turned solemn. He showed no mercy even to his father and punched another cheek.

”…” Luke just gritted his teeth without opening his mouth, enduring the pain.

However, blood still leaked out of the corner of his lips. In fact, his mouth was filled with blood.

”M-Master!” Silvester didnʼt know what to do.

”You have always tried to endure it alone.” Noel sighed. After punching his father twice, Noel finally extended his hand, offering him help.

Even though he had prepared himself to meet his son, now that Noel was standing before him, he didnʼt know what kind of expression he should make.

He took Noelʼs hand, which actually prepared another surprise for him.

”!!!” Luke couldnʼt help but widen his eyes and shift his gaze toward his body. The pain he experienced earlier was completely gone. He thought Noel had fire and ice elements, but this healing property was weird. He wasnʼt aware of the beast kingdom or the force control, so he thought Noel might have a third spirit.

But before he could say anything, Noel just pulled him into his embrace and hugged him. ”Still, it has been so long, Father.”

”!!!” Luke became even more stunned. The coldness from before had completely disappeared. There was only a trace of gentleness and love in his hug.

That was right. It didnʼt matter anymore. He could finally meet his son, so there was no need to care about other things for now.

Luke hugged him back, almost tearing up. ”Yeah. Itʼs been so long, my son.”

Noel turned his head to Silvester and said, ”Itʼs fine here. You can take your leave now.”

Silvester glanced at Lukeʼs expression before nodding his head.

Once Silvester left, Noel finally said, ”It looks like there are a lot of things you need to explain, Father.”

”Indeed. Thatʼs the reason for me inviting you here.” Luke sighed.

”But that can probably wait after we have lunch.” Noel smiled. ”Are you living well here with Mother?”

”Weʼve been living well. My mother and I miss you a lot.” Luke nodded. The awkward atmosphere gradually dissolved with a small task, which was why both of them came to a tacit understanding to start their lengthy conversation after lunch. By that time, the atmosphere had turned normal again.

Anna and Leysha came an hour later, bringing all the food for the family. It appeared they talked a lot in the kitchen, so the two looked so much friendlier to each other during lunch.

”Iʼm sorry for not being able to attend your wedding.” Luke politely lowered his head. ”Iʼm just glad that you two get together. Young lady Anna, my son might be blunt and bold, but please take care of him.”

”Donʼt worry, Father. Heʼs the one taking care of me most of the time. We love each other and back each other up. Even if the world is his enemy, I will still remain on his side.” Anna smiled.

”Hearing that from you, I can finally rest assured.” Luke nodded. ”I heard you came here to ask me something. Is there anything I can help you with?”

Noel thought for a moment before glancing at Anna. Anna nodded and explained, ”Actually, weʼd like to start our charity organization. However, nobles donʼt give away their wealth easily like this, so weʼd like to learn from your experience.

”I will be the one setting up the foundation for the organization and my husband will be the one handling it.”

”I see.” Luke rubbed his chin a few times before turning to Leysha. ”Can you grab that book?”

”Oh!” Leysha nodded.

While Leysha was searching for the book, Luke actually asked three questions. ”Before starting this organization, you need three things. They are your fund, goal, and route. How much do you wish to begin with and how much do you plan to spend every month? How do you plan to acquire those funds?

”How about your goal? What is your purpose in creating this organization? Who will be your targets?

”Last but not least, the route. We often visited rural areas where transportation was unavailable and the route to that place was almost non-existent. There were also many areas that were close to impossible to reach.

”Can you answer me regarding these three problems?” Luke asked.

Noel nodded to Anna, telling her she would be the one handling these questions.

”Yes, Father.” Anna took a deep breath. ”We plan to spend about 10% of our free wealth for the initial fund, which is about 120,000 gold coins. This money is unrelated to the cash flow of the territory.

”In addition, weʼre planning to acquire the fund from the sales of the cars and trucks alongside the operation of the train. Although we havenʼt specified the number, it wonʼt exceed 100,000 gold coins every month for the time being. As you already know, the train and sales have their own costs too. If we see that the balance is fine after taking 100,000 gold coins every month, we are thinking about raising it further.

”Last but not least, weʼre planning to ask for the Moon Templeʼs help.

”Although itʼs true that a charity organization can bring a lot of prestige to the lord so that you donʼt really want outside influences to enter, the reason we choose the Moon Temple is their headquarters. Thanks to them building the headquarters here, we can see the strong alliance between us and the Moon Temple.

”The Moon Temple might have a sad reputation, but they are also known for their generosity. If people know the Moon Temple is actively helping people in that area, the morale of the citizens will increase.

”In addition, by cooperating with the Moon Temple. We are able to acquire their immunity, meaning outside attacks wonʼt come.

”Regarding our goal…”
