Chapter 1315: First Encounter

”And it’s now your turn to tell me about everything.”

Leysha playfully looked up. ”I wonder where I should start… I guess it’s from the very beginning… the time I first met my husband.”

”Are you serious? This is going to be long.” Raven looked away while Silvester only rolled his eyes.

…

Leysha was sitting in a tavern with a cloak covering her entire body. Her expression was much darker and grimmer. Her clothes were quite tattered and even her meal was only a small piece of bread and a soup.

In fact, she had been wandering around like crazy, trying to escape from marriage. The 14-year-old Leysha ended up coming to the Muivell Kingdom.

She couldn’t help but wonder what she should do after this. If it continued, her money wouldn’t last long enough for her to survive. At the same time, she wondered if there would be someone who was crazy enough to hire her. Of course, she had to avoid getting taken advantage of.

All of a sudden, she heard a scream echoing from upstairs.

”No. Please don’t do this. Please forgive me.” A middle-aged man was crying like crazy. He fell on the floor and even banged his head.

A young voice soon followed, the tone filled with scorn. ”After taking advantage of the Ardagan family for so long, do you think you can escape unscathed? There’s no need to go back to your company. All of them will be crushed today. I swear it in my name, Luke Ardagan. Scram before I kill you!”

”Hii!!!” He panicked and ran away in tears.

Leysha couldn’t help but raise her head, looking at the young Luke. Next to him was the knight-in-training Raven and a promising young butler, Silvester.

However, there was another man that soon came out of the room. ”Brother. Isn’t it too much?”

”He has harmed the Ardagan family for over eight years. If I could, I would have beheaded him already.” Luke snorted. ”Laufey. Take care of the aftermath.”

”What are you talking about?” Laufey gritted his teeth. ”I will take care of the aftermath, but we have another problem.”

”…” Luke’s eyebrows twitched. ”No. Don’t say it. Don’t you dare say it.”

Laufey looked determined to the point where Luke was scared and ran off to the first floor. ”No. I don’t hear anything. I can’t hear anything.”

”Silvester, Raven. Catch him.”

”Yes.” Silvester and Raven leaped to the first floor easily.

Luke gritted his teeth and tried to escape, but both Silvester and Raven managed to catch him. It might be fate or something, but they caught him when he was passing Leysha’s table.

Laufey gritted his teeth and glared at Luke.

”Laufey. I’m the head of the Ardagan family right now. Do you think harming the head of the family can be done without any consequences?”

”If you are going to punish me, that’s fine. But I’ll make sure it happens after your marriage!” Laufey grinned angrily. ”You’re the current lord of the Ardagan family. After the death of the former lord, don’t forget that you’re the last person that carries the family’s bloodline.

”If that punishment can be exchanged with your marriage, then so be it. Let’s see… I have several candidates. Your reputation as a good merchant and lord has spread. There are a lot of families wanting to marry their daughter to you.”

”You guys are insane. Silvester, Raven. Release me this instant.”

”Give up, Master Luke.” Silvester sighed.

”That’s right. This is for the sake of the family.” Raven nodded.

”You are not disobeying my command too? You traitors. You’re taking advantage of my lack of spiritual energy to stop me like this. Fine, fine, fine. You want me to marry someone, right?” Luke gritted his teeth and struggled. He reached Leysha’s hand while saying, ”Then I will just marry someone random rather than marrying those old foxes’ daughters!”

”Master Luke…” Silvester smiled wryly. ”Don’t cause any trouble for that person.”

”That’s right. He is…” Raven wanted to apologize, but he abruptly stopped after noticing Leysha. ”…a woman?”

Luke was also startled. He glanced at Leysha one more time. It was supposed to be an impulsive action, but he never thought she would be a woman. ”Fine. You’re perfect. Let’s get married. We are—mmfff!”

”Master Luke. You shouldn’t say that carelessly. That person might be—!” Silvester wanted to say something, but all of a sudden, most of the people in the tavern suddenly leaped into the air, heading straight toward Luke. They took out their respective weapons.

”!!!” Silvester and Raven turned solemn. Raven immediately drew his sword and started cutting the enemy down.

”Protect the lord.”

”Laufey!”

Silvester stood in front of Luke as the main bodyguard while Raven took care of the enemies.

Laufey’s eyes turned bloodshot as he grabbed two people’s necks and crushed them. Then he skillfully grasped their weapons and threw them toward other people.

Meanwhile, Silvester spread out purple-colored nets while tossing some throwing knives.

”Kill the Ardagan family.”

”Eliminate the last person.” Stay connected with ReadNovelFull

Silvester frowned. ”These bastards from the Supreme Devil Organization… As expected, they have been using this place as their base. Time for some cleanup!”

Luke’s expression turned solemn. ”No need to spare any of them. Go.”

”Understood.”

To their surprise, Luke and the others didn’t realize that Leysha had been completely annoyed. She was here because she was running away from marriage. Then there was Luke, who somehow dragged her into the thing she was trying to run away from.

Her mug suddenly froze as the bar’s temperature decreased sharply.

”Kh.” She smashed the jug on the table while gritting her teeth. Ice spread, covering the table, the chair, the floor, and even the people from the Supreme Devil Organization.

The power outburst was so much that Laufey, Silvester, and Raven panicked.

”You bastards. I just want to eat and drink peacefully with the little money I have. Why are you even bothering me like this and even dragging me into something I’m trying to escape from? To hell with the Supreme Devil whatever, to hell with the Ardagan family. Do you want to die?” Leysha had already stood on top of her chair with one foot on the table.
