Chapter 1321 Fifth Decision

”As for the fifth decision…”

”The destruction of the Ardagan family?” Milfa squinted her eyes.

”Yes. To be exact, the destruction of the Ardagan family by the Stargaze familyʼs hand.” Leysha nodded.

”Why do you even set it up that way? Why the Stargaze family?”

”You might not know about it, but the Stargaze family once struggled financially, right?”

”Now that I think about it, yes. In the end, the head of the family retired and the current marquis, Kevin Stargaze, took his position.” Milfa nodded.

”For the restoration of the Stargaze family, Kevin had been mingling around us and those two could be considered best friends. Though, people considered their relationship to be formed through debt.

”After hearing Anna Stargazeʼs talent, the two agreed to let them marry each other.”

”Noel Ardagan and Anna Stargaze?” Milfa gasped.

”Yes. I told you, didnʼt I? Itʼs running in their blood…” Leysha chuckled. ”By portraying the Ardagan family as the bad guy that was trying to squeeze everything from the Stargaze family, it wouldnʼt look weird for the Stargaze family to be the one ending the Ardagan family. It was like they wanted to get rid of their debt.

”Of course, both of us have ensured Noelʼs safety along with the familyʼs heirloom. Although I canʼt disclose a lot of family secrets, just think of it as the means for the familyʼs survival.

”And look at Noel and Anna now. They are so cute together.” Leysha smiled.

Milfa couldnʼt help but furrow her eyebrows. ”Why did you do something like this? You should be able to realize that your plan would hurt both of them…”

Leysha raised two fingers. ”The first one is Noel getting chosen as the heir. In other words, itʼs impossible for him to lead a normal life.

”As such, there are two possibilities. First, we will train Noel ourselves. If we choose this path, it will cause one big problem. The Supreme Devil Organization was clever enough to weaken us bit by bit.

”Mining rights, goods, and other things… Everything has been emptied out because of that vixen from the Supreme Devil Organization.

”Using the last bit of what the Ardagan family had left on their land, Luke brought the Ardagan family to the top. At the same time, this also meant the Ardagan familyʼs resources had been depleted. Even if we could do something to the land, the land wouldnʼt be too prosperous.

”Hence, we had to destroy the Ardagan family and let the royal family reclaim that land. Then, Kevin… I mean, Marquis Stargaze will be manipulating the peopleʼs opinion to give Noel the best land for future development once he wants to rebuild the family.

”This way, the Ardagan familyʼs future is secured. And you should have seen what kind of prosperous family they have become now. The runes exceed our expectations, though.

”The second reason is Noelʼs nature. From the very beginning, Noel is someone who loves to procrastinate.

”He will do random things, while productive, not really that good of a thing. He procrastinates most of the time and will do it only when he has to do it.

”If we train him inside the family, he might be able to properly become a good family head, which can lead the family to the top, but he wonʼt be able to reach the golden age of the family.

”And with the Ardagan recognizing him, if he gets satisfied with only that, the Supreme Devil Organization will definitely destroy him.

”Hence, Luke suggested creating an environment where he would have to be desperate the whole time, forcing him to work hard every single day. As a result, his talent bloomed like right now… Not that I like it, though. I just want to spoil my baby, but this is the only way.”

”…” Milfa was utterly shocked. It turned out everything that had been going on was according to their plan.

”Our work right now is to stay hidden while building our strength. Of course, we are doing our best to weaken the Supreme Devil Organization in the dark, like what weʼre doing right now.” Leysha shrugged.

”Building your strength? You are only coming here with two other people…”

”Of course, we havenʼt utilized them yet. But I guess you will recognize their name. Dazzling Bear and Lake Whale.”

”Hmm?” She looked confused at first but soon recognized those names. ”Mercenary groups? No, wait. Dazzling Bear is a rising mercenary group. We donʼt really employ mercenaries, but itʼs not like weʼre unaware of them either.

”Dazzling Bear is supposed to have quite a high number and strength, but theyʼre based on the Greenwood Kingdom.

”Meanwhile, Lake Whale is actually a group under a marquis in the Zaecuria Kingdom. Donʼt tell me… You manage to gain the cooperation of that marquis?”

”Yes. The marquis is our people.” She nodded. ”The reason we built up our strength outside the Muivell Kingdom was to avoid them, of course. And we prepared so that if Noel chose to escape to other countries, we could utilize them to shelter him.

”Though… we didnʼt expect that my father would be the one sheltering him directly.” Leysha shrugged. ”Anyway, we donʼt really leave any debts whatsoever, so they canʼt take advantage of it to get rid of Noel. We are also dealing with a few things outside to ensure the threat is minimal.

”Still, at the end, Noel surpasses our imagination. Even though we can help him here and there, Noel will probably do just fine, even without our help.” Leysha smiled proudly.

Milfa just gave her an awkward smile, knowing that Leysha was just proud of her son.

”Thatʼs all to it. Do you have any other questions? If you donʼt, join us a bit, will you? We have to do a few things.”

Milfa looked down, falling into deep thought. ”Well, I still have time before I have to go back, so I can probably tag along.”

”Thatʼs great.” Leysha smirked. ”I need to know more about Dimitriʼs sweetheart. Hehehe. Dimitri being Dimitri, heʼs not going to confess to you, you know? You should be more proactive and just tell him to marry you.”

”W-W-Why are you talking about this again?!”
