Chapter 1333 Visiting Noelʼs Parents

”Thank you for your hard work, Melissa. Thanks to you protecting this city, weʼre able to overcome everything theyʼve thrown at us.” Noel smiled.

”Itʼs nothing.” Melissa shook her head. ”I can do that much after you give us the opportunity to have a spirit in our body.”

”Still, I will feel bad if I donʼt give you anything. How about this? Iʼm sure that youʼre already familiar with how a human city works. How about I let you roam around for a month to see other cities?”

”Hmm?” Melissa raised her eyebrows. ”Are you sure about this?”

Melissa was a spirit transcendence and wasnʼt a complete human. If she was found out, it would cause a lot of problems. Besides, that was what Noel had been trying to hide this whole time.

”Yes. I donʼt mind. I know you are already aware of what you can do and what you canʼt do. Knowing you, you should know how to enter and leave without any problems.” Noel nodded.

”If thatʼs the case, I can sense the city from a distance. In fact, among all elders, aside from that cat, my sense is the best. I can sense any strong people around me, so I will scan the city and make sure that thereʼs no one who has the ability to find me. If thereʼs a strong person inside that city, I will go to another city instead. This way, I have less chance of getting found out.”

”Sounds good.” Noel raised two fingers. ”However, if you donʼt mind, please stay here for a couple more days. Iʼm planning to go to the Demon Territory to meet someone.

”And one more thing. Now that Ardagan has woken up. I have better control over the fire and I understand the real problem regarding the beast kingdom.

”If you indeed wish to allow everyone to have a spirit in their body, itʼs possible. But that might not be possible right away since there are so many people in the beast kingdom.

”However, those who have reached adulthood might be able to endure the baptism. Once their curses are removed, their descendants wonʼt have such a thing anymore.

”So, if possible, can you tell them about it? I will also visit the beast kingdom in the near future to at least give all the warriors that are ready to resist the demons the body that can host a spirit.”

”!!!” Melissa looked shocked. This wasnʼt a bad idea. While it was true they didnʼt want anything to do with a human kingdom, they and the demons were mortal enemies. So, their goal was aligned.

It was no problem if Noel wanted to get rid of the curses from the warriors and continue to the remaining civilians once they eliminated the demon kings.

In case they failed to kill the demon king, the warriors would give birth to the descendants without curses. So, they could get rid of their curses completely after several generations.

This was the best condition they could get from Noel. In fact, Noelʼs generosity had surpassed her expectations.

Melissa nodded her head. ”In that case, I have no problem. Just tell me the time I can leave.”

”All right.” Noel nodded back before walking away with Anna.

”Where are you going? Donʼt tell me, you want to visit your parents?”

”Yeah. They must have done something to stop the Supreme Devil Organization, so itʼs best to take care of them. Knowing my father, he must want me to see it that way.”

”I see. It shouldnʼt be hard at our level to find them. And are we going to visit the researchers in the northern forest on our way back?”

”Yes. They must have heard about the agreement, so itʼll be good to visit them. And thereʼs one more thing I want to ask my parents.” Noel squinted his eyes. ”I will tell you about it on our way there.”

Anna nodded.

After taking care of the problems within the city, Noel and Anna sneakily left the city. On the way, Noel explained his intention to create a charity organization as well as the information about the king path he got from Ardagan.

”I see. If thatʼs the case, should I take care of the charity organization?” Anna asked. ”You are quite busy with the territory, so I should be the one taking care of this organization.”

”Thatʼs what I was about to ask you.” Noel confirmed his intention. ”Well, I will be going around from time to time, since itʼs a good way to find talented people.”

”Now that I think about it, there were so many capable people under you in our previous lives. Is it because of this?”

”Considering I have visited the beast kingdom, I might have found out about the inheritances. So, I might have chosen the same profession, which results in me finding those people,” Noel agreed. This was the only explanation.

Anna smiled. ”So, the reason we visit your parents is this charity organization? They are more experienced in this type of organization, so I donʼt think itʼs bad to ask them.”

”Yes. We have a lot of money after getting a lot of orders for the trucks. Once we reveal the airship, the money will be pouring in even more.

”The current rate of expansion is already too high, so if I push it a bit further, it might result in some other problems. So itʼs best to use that excess money for this. It will increase our reputation and other things.

”Besides, I also have missions from Ardagan to increase my popularity.”

Anna nodded. ”In that case, Iʼll take care of the organization. I will be leaving with the duke one month later, so I guess I should contact the Moon Temple after this and establish the organization within the next two weeks. After that, I will focus on our targets and operations so that once Iʼm gone, you can take over for a moment and go around with it.”

”Hehehe. Iʼm truly blessed to have you by my side.” Noel had a big smile on his face, not hiding his happiness.

Anna chuckled before correcting him. ”What are you saying? Weʼre blessed to be on each otherʼs side. Now, letʼs meet your parents.”

”Yes, my dear lady.”
