Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 325: Chapter 217: Alcremie Pilots a Gundam? (4k)

Judgment Beam!

That’s the Judgment Beam of Arceus!

Naoki took a sharp breath, exclaiming in horror!

Getting the exclusive special move of the Creator God Arceus with a single try, Alcremie’s luck is sky-high!

Not just him, but even all the Pokemon watching nearby were astounded by this scene.

They looked up at the night sky, where light trails with a red tail flame streaked by, reflecting in their eyes.

After the move ended, over a dozen craters appeared in the pasture, fortunately just in an open area, causing no harm to the ranch itself.

The Pokemon spectators were all visibly shocked.

How could this seemingly weak Alcremie use such terrifying moves?

Even the Alcremie itself didn’t know the answer to this question.

It stood there dazed for a long while.

It took quite some time for Alcremie to regain its composure, looking down incredulously at its own small hands.

This kind of power...

Was it really something it used on its own?

”Why not try shaking it again?” Naoki suggested tentatively.

Alcremie blinked and used Metronome once more.

Littles fingers gently shook, and amid the dense white light, a thick beam full of destructive aura shot straight into the hole.

Grass in the intense light withered and vanished into dust, leaving a clear path on the once lush green lawn.

Watching this, the name of the move sprang to Naoki’s mind.

Hyper Beam!

A powerful Normal Type move with a power of 150 in the games!

So strong!

”Too bad the effect of the Pumpkaboo Cookies isn’t permanent, lasting only ten short minutes.”

If only it could last forever...

Naoki fell into thought, recalling all the dishes he had made since his arrival.

The only one that seemed to have a permanent effect was the Lucky Pudding he made for Teddiursa earlier.

Then comes the question, can the effect of the Pumpkaboo Cookies become permanent like the Lucky Pudding?

Emotion...

What’s most important is the emotion involved in preparing the food.

”Clap clap clap!”

Seeing Alcremie successfully grasp Metronome and pull out such powerful moves, the Indeedee Sibling clapped happily for it.

Alcremie looked at the gentle Indeedee Sibling, its face turning slightly red with shyness.

Naoki asked with a smile, ”How is it? Are you satisfied now?”

”Maa maa!”

Alcremie nodded repeatedly.

Naoki thought for a moment and said to Alcremie, ”Actually, more than being suited to direct battles, I think you’re more suited for support roles, aiding other Pokemon.”

Hearing this, Alcremie looked up, puzzled: ”Maa maa?”

Naoki gave it an example: ”For instance, when Naclstack evolves into Garganacl, you can stand on their shoulders and fight alongside them.”

”With Garganacl as the attacker, you can use moves like Decorate, Aromatic Mist, Aromatherapy, Helping Hand, or Baby-Doll Eyes from its body.”

Decorate can greatly boost Garganacl’s Attack and Special Attack, Aromatic Mist can enhance its Special Defense, Aromatherapy can remove all its abnormal statuses, and Helping Hand can increase the power of its moves.

As for Baby-Doll Eyes... it can lower the opponent’s Attack.

This tactic, Naoki called it the ”Mecha Tactic.”

Calyrex can ride on Glastrier and Spectrier to battle, and Dragapult can carry two Dreepy into battle simultaneously.

So Alcremie can ride on Garganacl to engage in fights too.

”Maa maa...”

Alcremie’s eyes brightened; this was a path it had never envisioned.

Seeing this, Naoki knew Alcremie’s interest was piqued.

”Alright, it’s getting late, time to head back and rest!”

”Maa maa!”

Alcremie returned to its previously innocent and lively demeanor.

The Indeedee Siblings went to the tavern to entertain the Pokemon in town.

Pawmot and Glaceon also followed to join the fun.

Naoki then took Alcremie back to the living room.

He placed the contented Alcremie on the cupboard, then went to check on Cyclizar’s Shed Tail condition.

”How are you feeling? Does it still hurt?” Naoki asked.

Cyclizar shook its tail, carefully feeling it: ”Gaooo~”

Naoki: ”Glad it doesn’t hurt, you go on sleeping, I still have things to do.”

Cyclizar nodded obediently.

After checking on Cyclizar’s condition, Naoki returned to the Cream Workshop on the second floor.

He took the ingredients needed for making Pumpkaboo Cookies from the fridge.

Emotion... Integrating emotion into cooking might just extend the duration of the Pumpkaboo Cookies.

Despite saying so, emotion is intangible and untouchable, a rather mysterious thing.

Naoki closed his eyes and began to feel, recalling everything that happened since meeting Alcremie, trying to find that familiar feeling.

The first time they met, Alcremie and Smoliv cautiously observed his appearance.

After living together for a while, Alcremie grew acquainted with him, its nature becoming lively and cheerful.

After the Nacli arrived, Alcremie began to help him like an older sister, taking care of the five Nacli and playing with them.

They made a cream cake together for the first time...

They gathered by the riverside on summer nights to watch fireflies...

They lived together from the spring of blooming life to the autumn of yellowing leaves.

They would live together for a long, long time, until the end of life.
