Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 306: Chapter 210: Super Berry Platter

It immediately saw Naoki in the kitchen, and its eyes lit up: ”Indeedee?”

Looking at his sister Indeedee who was running over, Naoki smiled and explained: ”This is a Berry Platter.”

Saying this, he noticed that not far away, his brother Indeedee was also looking in this direction.

”Indeedee?” Sister Indeedee looked down at the golden berries on the white porcelain plate.

So beautiful! Can she taste it?

Sister Indeedee looked over with hopeful eyes.

But this made Naoki a bit troubled.

He thought for a while and carefully explained: ”This is different from ordinary dishes. After a Pokemon eats it, there’s a fifty percent chance they will learn a new move, but also a fifty percent chance they will forget a move they already know.”

”Indeedee?” Sister Indeedee was confused.

Naoki laughed, ”Scared?”

Sister Indeedee quickly shook her head: ”Indeedee!” No way!

She looked down at the Berry Platter, her eyes filled with strong curiosity.

”Indeedee!” She wanted to try it!

Seeing Sister Indeedee’s choice, Naoki was not surprised.

Because although this Indeedee was a girl, she was very lively and outgoing, with a heart that loved adventure.

However, her brother Indeedee immediately cast a disapproving glance at her choice.

”Indeedee...” (You don’t have many moves to begin with, what if you become a fool from eating?)

Sister Indeedee angrily put her hands on her hips: ”Indeedee!” (Brother is the fool!)

Naoki: ”?”

Why did they suddenly start arguing?

He signaled the siblings to stop and smiled while saying: ”It’s not a permanent forgetfulness of the move. It’s only temporary. With diligent practice, you can relearn it quickly.”

”Butterfree ate it and learned an Electric Type move, Electroweb; Cyclizar ate it and learned Dragon Tail; Dragonite ate it and learned Extreme Speed.”

”But later on, because Dragonite wanted to learn more moves, he ate more Berry Platters. The result was not only failing to learn anything new but also forgetting the Dragon Tail he barely learned, and he nearly cried from anxiety.” Naoki started animatedly recounting Dragonite’s embarrassing history.

This was something the siblings had never heard before.

Their attention immediately shifted, and from Naoki’s description, complemented by their understanding of Dragonite during this period, they could almost imagine what Dragonite looked like at the time.

”Indeedee?” And then? Sister Indeedee couldn’t help but ask.

Naoki smiled slightly: ”Later, Dragonite practiced tirelessly day and night, and after spending a week, finally remembered Dragon Tail again, but he didn’t dare to eat Berry Platters anymore because he was afraid of forgetting other moves.”

”So, do you still want to try it?” Naoki asked.

Sister Indeedee seriously considered it, then a bright light burst forth in her eyes.

”Indeedee!”

It sounded exciting; she wanted to experience it too!

Seeing his sister’s expression, Brother Indeedee knew he couldn’t stop her.

But since Naoki said it wouldn’t harm the Pokemon, he didn’t need to worry too much.

Brother Indeedee sighed helplessly.

Yet, he was also somewhat curious.

Would his sister learn a new move or forget a move she’s already learned?

”You can’t cry when you forget a move, okay?” Naoki said with a smile.

”Indeedee!”

Sister Indeedee immediately let out a protesting cry.

She was already a reliable Indeedee who took care of others, and wouldn’t cry like a child!

”Great, let’s give it a try then!” Naoki nodded.

He had previously prepared information records for the two Indeedees.

Brother Indeedee currently knows the moves: Stored Power, Play Nice, Helping Hand, Telekinesis, meditation.

Sister Indeedee currently knows the moves: Stored Power, Play Nice, Telekinesis, Helping Hand, Metronome.

Naoki silently recalled these moves in his mind, then watched as Sister Indeedee began to enjoy that Super Berry Platter.

One piece, two pieces, three pieces...

When Sister Indeedee had eaten the entire Berry Platter, a magical wave suddenly appeared around her.

Naoki’s heart stirred, and his gaze was instantly drawn to the changes happening in Sister Indeedee.

”Did you learn a new move?” he asked.

Sister Indeedee carefully sensed for a moment, then nodded with bright eyes: ”Indeedee!”

Such good luck! She actually learned a new move the first time! Naoki promptly asked, ”Which move is it?”

”Indeedee...” As for what move it was, Sister Indeedee wasn’t sure.

She looked somewhat troubled, and after a moment of hesitation, she started to demonstrate.

Suddenly, a circle of pale pink ripples appeared around Sister Indeedee.

Then, an ethereal crescent moon vaguely appeared behind her.

Naoki vaguely felt that something extra was in the surrounding air, seemingly released from Sister Indeedee’s body as a magical force.

Although it was released, this force didn’t dissipate but instead lingered in the air.

As this force was released, Sister Indeedee’s body began to weaken, resembling a Pokemon that had lost its ability to fight.

Seeing this, Naoki was slightly startled.
