Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 312: Chapter 212: Mewtwo Drunk (4k)_2

Naoki’s mind was full of thoughts, yet he smiled and said, ”Have a drink, the Pokemon Tavern offers it for free. It can bring a moment of peace to your heart.”

”What is this?” Mewtwo finally spoke.

Its voice sounded somewhat like that of a cool, deep male tone.

However, Legendary Pokemon should not have genders.

Naoki replied, ”It’s beer, a new drink just introduced at the tavern.”

Mewtwo looked at the glass of golden liquor, under the yellowish light, the transparent glass cup was filled with an intoxicating aura.

For a moment, Mewtwo felt a bit dazed, it steadied its mind, didn’t reach out, but used telekinesis to bring the glass in front of itself.

Mewtwo reached out and caught it, then lowered its head to take a sip.

With the first sip of beer down, it immediately felt something changing.

Its body was becoming lighter, as if stepping on clouds, its brain, which had been pondering endlessly, finally stopped, and its painful and confused heart since its creation found unprecedented peace at this moment.

Peaceful, serene...

Mewtwo’s eyes were dazed, cheeks flushed.

It seemed to forget all troubles, just immersed in this peaceful atmosphere.

”No... this feeling... what is this feeling like?”

Mewtwo tried hard to shake its head, forcing itself to start thinking.

Naoki looked at such a Mewtwo, feeling a bit tickled inside.

”You’re drunk,” he said.

Mewtwo looked into this human’s eyes, it had human genes inside, coupled with the ability to sense psychic powers and emotions, this suddenly gave it a strange feeling.

The gaze from the other person, the tone of the speech...

”You know me.” Mewtwo spoke with certainty.

Heard from that Teddiursa?

Naoki slightly raised his eyebrows, did not deny, just asked, ”Who are you?”

Who am I... Mewtwo subconsciously replied, ”I am Mewtwo, a Pokemon created by humans using Mew’s genes.”

It seems Mewtwo has now begun to consider itself a Pokemon, Naoki nodded.

Then he saw Mewtwo downing a large glass of beer in one swig.

The ”brainless” Mewtwo nodded while looking at him, suddenly remembered the purpose of coming here: ”Mew said you can help us.”

”Hm?” Naoki was stunned.

He pondered and asked, ”Is there anything you need my help with?”

”No.” The drunk Mewtwo thought carefully for a moment, then said, ”No help, we are here to find an answer.”

Naoki: ”... What answer?”

Mewtwo looked at the group of cloned Pokemon playing and chatting with the local Pokemon, but suddenly stopped talking.

Naoki was speechless.

He recalled in his mind Mewtwo’s experience, then said:

”Matters like this, what others say to you won’t help, you can only experience, perceive, and think for yourself.”

As he spoke, he also looked at the group of cloned Pokemon: ”Look, you are also drinking here with them now, whether artificial or naturally born, what’s the difference?”

Mewtwo was thoughtful, as it pondered, then fell asleep.

Naoki: ”...”

Legendary Pokemon’s tolerance for alcohol is too bad?

He sighed helplessly, told his worried sister Indeedee, ”Later you guys take it to the guest bedroom to rest.”

”Indeedee.” The Indeedee Sibling nodded.

The group of cloned Pokemon was startled by Mewtwo’s appearance, only after Naoki told them that Mewtwo was just asleep, did they breathe a sigh of relief.

At ten o’clock in the evening, the Pokemon in town gradually left.

Only when the last Pokemon went home did Naoki close the tavern.

He arranged for the group of cloned Pokemon to sleep on a soft lawn in the ranch.

After finishing these tasks, Naoki yawned and carried Pawmot and Cyclizar back to the room.

The next morning, Naoki hadn’t woken up yet, his brother Indeedee knocked on his door.

Naoki rubbed his eyes and opened the door, his brother Indeedee looked at him, pointed outside: ”Indeedee.”

Naoki was slightly startled, then walked outside to see Mewtwo and the group of cloned Pokemon standing in the ranch ready to leave.

Hearing the sound of the door opening, Mewtwo looked up.

The memories after getting drunk yesterday were still lingering in its mind.

Recalling its appearance, this Legendary Pokemon felt an emotion named shyness for the first time in its life.

At this moment, it saw that human walking towards itself.

”Leaving?” Naoki wasn’t too surprised: ”Where are you planning to go?”

Mewtwo calmly said, ”We plan to find a place of our own and live there.”

A place like Mount Quena, a natural Secret Realm untouched by humans.

Maybe one day, humans might accidentally enter there, but they will no longer avoid it like the last time.

Naoki nodded.

Mewtwo didn’t say much else, its eyes shone with blue light, enveloping the surrounding cloned Pokemon, flying with them into the sky, they seemed to just come this way for a visit.

Naoki stood on the grass watching their figures disappear, just as he was about to turn around and go back indoors, he suddenly heard Mewtwo’s voice again.

It said, ”Mew likes you a lot.”

Naoki froze.

He soon thought about the things Mewtwo said yesterday while drunk.

So, it probably came here to see why Mew likes him, this human?

This really...

For a moment, Naoki didn’t know what to say.

He turned to look at his little tavern.

Thanks to Mew and Teddiursa’s promotion, even Pokemon like Mewtwo became guests.

The only regret was, he couldn’t capture this Mewtwo.

With Mewtwo’s personality, it probably won’t get captured by humans.

However, that’s no problem!

As a farmer, to see a Pokemon like this with his own eyes has surpassed 99% of humans in this world.

Naoki grinned, just as he was about to turn around and go indoors, he suddenly saw a fountain appearing on the lake nearby.

Naoki: ”...”

Some infuriated old dragon started acting up again.

Naoki went inside and brought out a barrel of beer, poured it loudly into Giratina’s Reversed World, then turned back to the dining room.

His sister Indeedee had already prepared a very hearty breakfast.

Eating the toast baked to a soft golden brown and the fried eggs cooked to a tempting golden hue, drinking the sweet and delicious berry milk, Naoki felt that life was truly happy.

Meanwhile, in the Reversed World.

Giratina angrily looked at the golden liquor floating in the void before it.

The revering it, liking it, thinking it’s the most majestic and powerful shadow Divine Dragon in the world.

False, all false!

It had finally figured it out.

Ever since it got those waters, that human has become increasingly dismissive!

Feeling deceived, Giratina was furious,

Giratina couldn’t contain its anger, deciding to retaliate, drag that guy in here, and imprison him forever!

The next second, its body swept past the sky, and all the liquor vanished without a trace.

Naoki finished his farm chores, remembered Giratina who drank the beer, and brewed a bowl of Poisonous Mushroom Soup, entered the Reversed World.

When he arrived, he saw Giratina, the big fat dragon, sleeping soundly on a Floating Island.

In such a posture, it was clearly drunk.

”Mewtwo can’t handle alcohol, and neither can Giratina!”

Giratina was there snoring, while Naoki began wandering around again.

He still remembered Giratina mentioning earlier about inviting him to farm in the Reversed World.

Regarding this, Naoki had also carefully considered it.

He has this plan, but the Reversed World’s environment is very unique, although there is water and land here, it lacks the most important factor for plant growth—sunlight.

Naoki stood on a Floating Island observing the condition of the soil.

This island had no trees, but from his angle, he could see the island floating above had a tree growing.

Does this imply that plants can grow normally here?

Naoki fell into contemplation.

”I can try planting something later.” If possible, he plans to develop here as his backup field.

If plants cannot grow normally, then it needs to see if Gogoat or Calyrex can make the plants here rapidly grow.
