Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 318: Chapter 214: Cyclizar Little Angel (4k)_3

”I see...” Naoki pondered and nodded.

The girl smiled softly and suddenly said, ”However, I have an idea! I see you’ve been running up and down this street for a while, and you must really like that Cyclizar. In that case, let me offer you a direction!”

”What?”

The girl replied, ”Make it yourself. Near Porto Marinada Town, there are ranches that breed Wooloo, which produce high-quality wool. You could purchase some wool from those ranchers, then find someone skilled in tailoring to make custom clothing for your Cyclizar.”

It was indeed a good option.

Naoki nodded, thanked the girl, and while it was still early, rode his Gogoat to visit the neighboring Thunder Ranch.

Ray, the slightly older rancher, welcomed him. After learning about Naoki’s purpose, he took him on a tour of his ranch.

”Follow me!” Ray said with a smile.

Naoki responded and observed the ranch.

Thunder Ranch was located at the foot of a hill, with lush pasture growing on it. A group of Wooloo and Mareep from the Galar Region were leisurely grazing there.

”Quite different from your ranch, isn’t it?” Ray asked.

Naoki nodded, ”Yes, it is.”

He noticed that there were only a few fields here, growing a few scattered pumpkins, and there were no Miltank or similar milk-producing Pokemon.

Ray proudly said, ”My ranch focuses mainly on livestock, specializing in raising wool-producing Pokemon. The wool from Wooloo is the best material for making clothes, and in the Galar Region, clothes and carpets made from this wool are famous premium products!”

”The wool from my Wooloo can be sold all across the Paldea Region!”

”Impressive!” Naoki genuinely complimented.

Compared to him, Ray was indeed an outstanding rancher.

He managed his ranch to its current success with his magical cuisine and various Pokemon.

Meanwhile, Ray ran this Wooloo Ranch skilfully with just his own two hands.

”Haha!” Ray laughed, feeling slightly embarrassed by the compliment, ”You’re here to buy some wool, right?”

Naoki: ”Exactly.”

Upon hearing this, Ray waved and called over a chubby, adorably-eyed Wooloo.

”Just in time, it’s shearing season again.”

Ray took out a special pair of scissors and, while shearing the Wooloo, said:

”The wool on a Wooloo grows continuously throughout its life. Even if you shave it completely, it will grow back to its original state in just three months.”

”If you don’t shear it for a long time, these little ones would end up unable to move because of the wool growing too long.”

Ray’s shearing skills were very proficient, and soon, a complete wool fleece was freshly ready.

Ray held it up, ”Look, isn’t it amazing? The fleece is all intact and very elastic. If you wear it, even falling off a cliff wouldn’t hurt you.”

As he spoke, he patted it, and the wool bounced a few times.

Naoki widened his eyes incredulously.

This is so amazing?

If I put it on Lycanroc, wouldn’t it just become a wolf in sheep’s clothing?

”I’ll give you a discount, 2000 League Coins per pound. Hmm, this is 6 pounds total, which would be 12000 League Coins.” Ray weighed the wool.

12,000... To be honest, for wool of this quality, this price wasn’t expensive.

Naoki thought it was just right to buy it all, planning to use it for clothing later. He paid and headed back with the wool.

Next up, I need to find someone skilled in tailoring to customize warm clothing for Cyclizar.
