His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 2212: Chapter 644: Nurturing the Relationship (Part 21, Second Update)

Chen Xiaoyi cautiously asked for advice again, naturally watching Feng Fanghua’s expression, not daring to speak too assertively.

Feng Fanghua nodded: ”I just told you that his things shouldn’t be touched by others.”

Upon hearing this reminder, Chen Xiaoyi stopped asking.

Feng Fanghua, feeling sorry for her, thought that if getting rid of Qin Mu’s things could help Mu Yichen forget Qin Mu faster, that would be good.

”Zhang Jie!”

Just as Zhang Jie was delivering fruit, Feng Fanghua called out to her.

”Yes! What can I do for you, madam?”

”Go upstairs with Wang Jie and pack up all of Qin Mu’s things for her!”

”What?”

Zhang Jie was stunned, her face changed color.

”You don’t even listen to me anymore?”

Feng Fanghua knew the servants in the house had a special affection for Qin Mu, which made her a bit angry.

”Yes!”

Zhang Jie was naturally not someone who couldn’t read the room, she nodded and agreed.

”There’s no need to consult Yichen about this matter.”

Feng Fanghua reminded before Zhang Jie and Wang Jie went to clean the room.

”Yes!”

Zhang Jie and Wang Jie exchanged glances, but they still lowered their heads and went upstairs.

At this moment, Chengcheng and Huanhuan were not around, so when Feng Fanghua asked them to pack the things, they didn’t dare refuse. They initially thought to call Mu Yichen for advice, but once Feng Fanghua spoke, they couldn’t do anything.

If they hadn’t started packing, they wouldn’t have realized how much there was; they filled several big boxes just with clothes, not to mention skincare products. While packing in the bathroom, they sighed, feeling sorry for their young mistress.

”I don’t know why the madam is doing this, having us pack up the young mistress’s things behind the young master’s back. If the young master finds out, won’t he blame us?”

Wang Jie murmured, slightly resentful.

”Isn’t that the truth! Even if the young master doesn’t care, it’s heartbreaking to think of the young mistress. You’d imagine entering the Mu Family, she’d have some elder’s affection, but look at it now.”

Wang Jie spoke, also shaking her head.

In this world, who would care for someone else without reason?

Which family’s elder would always be concerned about another family’s child?

Unless there’s something to gain, otherwise...

After packing the things, they got a few male servants to carry the boxes down one by one. Feng Fanghua had gone out, telling them to take orders from Chen Xiaoyi, so they all stood in front of Chen Xiaoyi.

Chen Xiaoyi was drinking tea, and when she saw them coming down, she courteously put down her teacup: ”Then please trouble you to send the things to Paris. No matter how old, they were bought with money, and throwing them away isn’t respectful to Qin Mu.”

The few didn’t expect her to be so considerate, nodded, and then went to send Qin Mu’s things.

As Wang Jie and Zhang Jie walked out, they muttered: ”I wonder if she’s genuinely kind or faking it, wouldn’t the young mistress be terribly heartbroken to see these?”

”I heard that Qin Mu would always give you gifts when she was around. In the future, I will too. Whatever she gave, I won’t give you less. In the future, I’ll be counting on your care.”

Chen Xiaoyi said to the people standing by.

”Miss Chen, you’re too kind, we’re just servants. Please feel free to instruct us if there’s anything you need.”

But who would actually covet such things?

It was merely because they had known Qin Mu for a long time.

Chen Xiaoyi noticed their courtesy but understood in her heart they didn’t like her. She thought to herself, time reveals true character, she just needed to work harder.

That evening, Mu Yichen returned to his room after dinner, and Feng Fanghua was uneasy downstairs.

Mu Yichen took off his clothes and went to shower, only to find the bathroom more spacious. Taking a closer look, he suddenly noticed that beneath his towel, Qin Mu’s towel and other things were gone, causing his brow to furrow. Looking more carefully outside.

Later, he didn’t even shower, he wrapped a towel around himself and came out, finding everything belonging to Qin Mu in the bathroom gone, item by item from the countertop.

He walked forward and pulled open a drawer, then stood there in silence for a long time, not moving, only because his heart pounded heavily, his solid chest seemed to rise and fall.

That sharply defined face bore not a trace of warmth, his eyes calm after intense pain.

All taken away?

He went to wash up, and when he came out, opened the wardrobe to find pajamas, but after opening the wardrobe, he found himself no longer able to remain calm, staring at the emptiness on one side, reaching out but unable to get his pajamas.

All gone!

Her clothes, as he opened each closet, found that indeed, none of her clothes were left.
