His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 2209: Chapter 643: A Year Later (20) If You Really Get Divorced One Day

Qin Mu’s body stiffened, and suddenly she was scooped up from the sofa.

Mu Yichen hoisted her over his shoulder and walked toward the stairs, domineering as he demanded, ”Which way is the bedroom?”

”Mu Yichen...”

”If you won’t say, then I’ll just pick one!”

Mu Yichen said.

”Left, first one on the left!”

Qin Mu was injured, several rooms didn’t even have beds—were they supposed to do it on the floor?

Her panicked, flustered voice actually put him in a slightly better mood.

”Before you get slept by another man, I have to sleep with you at least one more time. If one day you really go back and divorce me, this body I’ve loved for so many years would just be handed over to someone else!”

Qin Mu was thrown onto the bed, completely powerless to resist. The mattress had amazing bounce and sprang her up a little, but just when she thought he’d toss her really high, he suddenly lunged on top of her and pressed her down solidly, the two of them sinking into that big bed together.

Qin Mu suddenly wanted to laugh. She’d clearly said she wouldn’t find another man, yet he was still this jealous, still this prone to wild thoughts.

Forget it. Who isn’t the one overthinking in this kind of mess?

So sending their son and daughter away was just so he could do this with her.

Qin Mu raised her hands, wanting to hug him. Fulfilling him was hard, but she could still manage it, except...

Her hands hadn’t even reached him when he suddenly grabbed them. Mu Yichen’s gaze turned icy cold and mocking. He glared at her with pure hatred, forced her hands up over her head so she couldn’t fight back, and couldn’t give him anything either.

”Even if you play dead like a corpse today, I’ll still have my fun.”

Mu Yichen said coldly.

Then he loomed over her from above, those bony, beautiful fingers deftly undoing his shirt buttons, staring at her with that wicked look, as if his eyes wanted to peel her skin right off.

Qin Mu couldn’t move, so she simply stopped trying. Even when he let go of her, she still kept her hands over her head, maintaining the same position.

Her eyes seemed to be saying: Mu Yichen, I’ll do as you wish.

By the time he bent down again, Qin Mu had completely surrendered. He didn’t want her to take the initiative—was it because he despised that she couldn’t give him what he wanted?

Qin Mu’s mind was full, but for the moment she couldn’t say a word.

This room, this bed, was the only thing in this house she’d personally chosen. Back then she didn’t know why, she just had this feeling he would come stay for a night.

She had thought it would be last night, but it ended up being today instead.

In broad daylight...

But for President Mu, what difference is there between day and night, as long as he’s in the mood.

——

That night Qin Mu stayed home and had dinner with the kids, a meal personally cooked by Mu Yichen. Only, while they were eating, Mu Yichen was already in Paris, accompanying Chen Xiaoyi in the most romantic restaurant, enjoying a candlelit dinner, a picture-perfect couple envied by everyone around.

The next morning, Mu Yichen called Qin Mu directly and told her to take the siblings to the airport. By the time Qin Mu brought the kids there, he and Chen Xiaoyi were already waiting at the entrance.

Huanhuan jumped out of the car first, then Qin Mu carried Chengcheng down. The siblings stood by their mother’s side, looking at the man and woman standing on the steps, a little unhappy, then turned to look at Qin Mu.

”Go on.”

Qin Mu just gave a faint smile, forcing herself to look relaxed as she sent them off.

Only then did the two little ones reluctantly walk over to Mu Yichen and Chen Xiaoyi’s side. Chen Xiaoyi nodded at Qin Mu with elegant composure, and Qin Mu could only give a helpless little smile back. President Mu’s ability to play both sides was top-notch.

Qin Mu glanced at Mu Yichen again and smiled as she said to him, ”From now on, I’ll be counting on President Mu to take good care of this son and daughter. Goodbye.”

Seeing the cold, hazy finality in Mu Yichen’s eyes, Qin Mu had no idea what he was angry about, but she didn’t want to look any longer. She lowered her head to look at the kids and waved at them. ”We’ll be in touch after you go back. Mommy still has things to do, so I’m leaving first!”

”Bye, Mommy!”

”Mommy! I’ll miss you!”

Huanhuan reluctantly raised her hand to wave goodbye to Qin Mu, while Chengcheng ran back over to Qin Mu, wrapping his arms around her leg, not caring how tiring it was to hug in a puffy down jacket.

Qin Mu had no choice but to crouch down again, gently rubbing her son’s small head. ”Take good care of your sister. Don’t keep doing weird things all day making your grandparents worry.”

”Then can I make you and Daddy worry?”

Chengcheng blinked his innocent eyes, a little sulky.

”Silly boy. Your dad and I will always love you two. If you’re really not doing well, of course we’ll worry. But could you bear to keep us worried all the time so we can’t do anything else?”

Qin Mu patiently explained to him.

”I don’t want that.”
