His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 2207: Chapter 642: One Year Later (19) Rebellion (Third Update)_2

Because they understood each other, this meal was eaten in relative silence.

After dinner, Qin Mu went to make a phone call, and Chengcheng quietly asked Mu Yichen, ”Where are we going to play today? Are you coming with us?”

”Someone will come to pick you and your sister up today.”

Mu Yichen said and glanced at the woman standing at the door making a phone call.

”What about Mom? Oh! You’re going to be alone with her!”

Chengcheng rolled his eyes, thinking to himself, you just love monopolizing our mom and pretend to be cool, hmph!

”Then I’ll lend you Mom for another day, but you have to promise me, bring her back quickly, or else I won’t give her to you in the future!”

Mu Yichen helplessly smiled bitterly and shook his head looking at his precious son, ”Are you the father or am I?”

Chengcheng didn’t say anything, especially when he saw Qin Mu coming back after the phone call, he turned his head and slipped away.

”We’re going to Disney today, are you coming?”

”I need to talk to you about something today.”

When Qin Mu put away her phone and casually asked, she didn’t expect him to say he wanted to talk about something. Seeing how serious he looked, she was wondering what to do with the kids when they heard a car honking outside. Turning her head, a luxury RV had already stopped in front of her house.

”What’s going on?”

”The person who will take the two of them to Disney!”

Mu Yichen said indifferently.

Qin Mu turned her head to look, the handsome guy got out of the car and waved towards the inside. Qin Mu couldn’t see clearly, but based on the figure, she guessed it was one of Mu Yichen’s male classmates.

The siblings happily followed the handsome guy away. Qin Mu and Mu Yichen stood at the door watching them leave. Qin Mu turned her head, ”What do you want to talk about?”

About divorce?

The only words in Qin Mu’s mind were these three. Her mind was already numb, striving to maintain composure.

”Let’s talk inside!”

Mu Yichen softly said, turning around and walking in first.

Qin Mu also felt a bit cold all over, so without hesitation, she turned her head and went inside, closed the door, and watched him go into the kitchen without thinking much, she sat down on the sofa first.

She had indeed been feeling a bit cold these past few days, so when she sat on the sofa now, she couldn’t help but pull a blanket over her legs.

Mu Yichen came out with a bottle of red wine in one hand and two glasses in the other. Qin Mu glanced up at him, feeling a bit bewildered.

”Need to drink to talk about things?”

After speaking, Qin Mu thought maybe it’s because, if the divorce matter is settled, naturally a drink is needed to celebrate, so she quieted down again.

Mu Yichen sat on the sofa next to her, noticed the blanket on her lap, and slightly furrowed his brows, ”Feeling cold hands and feet again lately?”

”Not really cold, it’s just winter! Very normal!”

Thinking of those horribly bitter Chinese medicines, Qin Mu promptly replied vigilantly.

Mu Yichen chuckled lightly, poured wine into both glasses, and placed one in front of her naturally, sitting down beside her.

Qin Mu instinctively shifted to the side when taking the wine glass from him, giving him a cautious look.

Mu Yichen, however, looked at her blanketed legs, reaching over to firmly grip the leg she was trying to pull away.

Qin Mu resisted wanting to escape, but not only could she not overcome him with her hands, her leg was also overpowered, forcefully bent onto his knee.

Qin Mu ended up in a completely sprawled position on the sofa, Mu Yichen touched her foot’s sole through the thick socks, but it was still cold, giving a thoughtful hum.

Qin Mu actually disliked this kind of closeness now, but couldn’t resist him, so she endured.

”Don’t take off my socks!”

Feeling his hands reaching her ankle, clearly intending to remove her socks, Qin Mu quickly blurted, though it was too late compared to his quick hands.

”Mu Yichen you...”

Furrowing her brows tightly in anger.

The kids had just left, and he was already acting up.

Mu Yichen initially just wanted her foot to feel the warmth of his palm, to warm her up a bit, but as soon as he took off her socks, he got annoyed.

Her toes were slightly distorted.

Qin Mu instinctively tried to draw her foot back, feeling an inexplicable sense of humiliation.

”What’s going on?”

Mu Yichen turned his head, glaring at her unhappily, demanding an explanation.

Qin Mu felt as if her feet were his, and if something went wrong, she had to apologize.

Unable to hide, her eyes unconsciously blurred.

”Let go of me first!”

Qin Mu’s voice unconsciously turned hoarse.

”Let go of you?”

Mu Yichen said coldly. If he knew letting her go meant she’d end up like this, would he have let her go?
