Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 1145: Chapter 8-3: Going All Out

The battleship entered warp, and everything seemed to return to calm again.

Not only did they shake off six black warships, but they also didn’t expose their target. To the bandit army officers and soldiers, it was like a miracle that only appears in dreams. However, this does not mean that everyone can relax now, because no one knows if similar warships are waiting for them ahead. The combat power of those six black warships casts a shadow on everyone’s heart.

And the person most worried about this issue is naturally Fatty.

Sitting in front of the computer in the simulation room, looking at the data of the simulated combat situation on the screen, Fatty was scratching his head absent-mindedly.

As for Leefer, Fatty had only seen a few brief evaluations on the Great Generals rankings. Even though he cursed Leefer harshly in communication with the command center, in fact, he had almost no impression of this person. The only feeling, nothing more than that guy named Leefer had a cold demeanor and acted like an iceberg. If he didn’t curse him passionately, he wouldn’t know that he himself was just a puddle of liquid.

He took a deep drag of smoke, and only slightly eased his depression by blowing the smoke out of his nose.

His gut isn’t big. Essentially, he is just a petty citizen who holds grudges. If a dog bites him, he would chase and bite back. He is timid and afraid of death, but that doesn’t mean he is afraid of trouble.

From a cowardly little fatty to becoming a hero of the Leray Federation, Fatty’s journey is unprecedented. Of course, there is his innate talent, but enough luck was also involved.

Having reached this point, the threat of death is still there, but it’s much better than when he was the mechanic soldier who fled twenty-one times. From boot camp to the Gallipalan Military Academy laboratory, Fatty has been accumulating everything he can, all sorts of odd and unusual things, as long as he believes it might be useful for survival, he spares no effort to learn it. If he can’t remember it once, he learns it twice, if he can’t learn it twice, he tries ten times.

Many people around him are often amazed by his knowledge and genius. But who would know that for the occasional art of deceit needed on the battlefield, and to always laugh with an authentic feeling, this Fatty could repeat thousands of times in front of a mirror, laughing until his mouth cramped?

The reason he has the ability he has today is simple: because he fears death enough, and because he is blunt enough. These seemingly contradictory traits, combined in a fatty full of random thoughts, are a miracle.

While rebuking Leefer, sitting with a gang of gold medal thugs, and soon to meet Russell, Fatty feels no threat from Leefer to himself. He is a bully in his own nest. After all, they’re in the same trench; no matter how angry Leefer is, all he can do is watch Master Fatty. Is he worried Leefer would tickle his little brother? If Leefer were an enemy officer and Fatty happened to be captured, he would probably be humble and act like a grandson.

The bigger the official and the higher the rank, the less Fatty cares. As long as it’s his side, and not a direct superior who could order his execution, Fatty doesn’t care what importance they hold. Whether it’s Leefer or Li Dao, a spit from him could land on their faces!

Fatty has been triumphantly feeling that, with his current status, he can already stay away from the days in the lab where he saw constitutional soldiers and clung to Milan’s leg crying and wailing. There’s a base, a fleet, mecha; he’s shaping up to be a little tyrant.

However, after seeing these six black warships, Fatty knows he seems to have stirred up a giant trouble.

First, he didn’t expect such a struggle within Feiyang. Second, he didn’t expect Leefer’s private army to be so powerful, and Leefer himself to be so ruthless! To attack Margaret, they even demolished those Feiyang battleships apparently sent to warn them.

It can be seen that the army under Leefer’s command can no longer be called the Feiyang army. They are essentially Leefer’s private soldiers. They only obey Leefer’s will, even if their actions are tantamount to treason!

These are a group of madmen. They have been trained into war machines. Their outlook on life and values exist for war. Bringing out such a force in a democratic country like Feiyang Republic only shows that Leefer is a madman of an abnormal level!

Facing such opponents, the little tyrant has regretted thoroughly. If time could be reversed, he would definitely express his admiration and respect in the most sincere, stunned, and passionate language upon meeting Leefer for the first time. Then accept the task without hesitation, and use incoherent language to describe this task as the supreme honor bestowed by his lifelong idol Admiral Leefer.

Unfortunately, time cannot be turned back. So, when faced with those six black warships, all Fatty can do is think hard about whether he should surrender quickly if discovered, seek prisoner status, and then find an opportunity to tearfully explain to Leefer that his previous disrespect was actually caused by Margaret’s coercion and seduction.

Thinking of Margaret, Fatty raised his eyelids and quickly glanced across.

Unlike usual concentration, Margaret’s eyes now also seem somewhat absent-minded......... Fatty glanced at the simulated combat situation on his screen. Long without issuing instructions, his commanded troops are acting as if on vacation. The opponent hasn’t taken the opportunity to attack either. The battlefield is unusually harmonious!
