Counterfeit Hero

Countless Feiyang battleships, like a flock of migrating birds, passed by the bandit army warships.

As the officers and soldiers of the retreating Feiyang 19th Fleet moved silently towards Torreclais, they had no idea that as they passed through this asteroid belt, quietly watching the vast array of mismatched large and small rocks outside their portholes, rapidly receding in the sudden brightness of the energy cannon light in the distance, a fleet was quietly hiding behind these intermittently bright and dark asteroids.

”Fight to the death!” Listening to the shout that erupted like a volcano, Fatty’s gaze turned extraordinarily melancholic—Could it be that his brother’s fate in this lifetime is to constantly tempt fate with his head on the line?!

When can I finally plan and strategize in a safe place, under the eyes of countless admirers? Counting his savings on his fingers, reality and dreams seem so far apart. In an instant, Fatty was moved to tears.

”Fight to the death! Such a simple word!”

Amid Fatty’s sighs, the shouting gradually subsided. The agitated warship returned to calm.

”Have you ever considered, the price you pay will be your life!”

Fatty stood up and looked around. In the massive command room, more than three hundred bandit soldiers remained silent. Facing Fatty’s scrutinizing gaze, they showed no sign of retreat. Many even had a faint smile on their lips.

”Damn it, looks like you have thought it through.” Fatty cursed.

Laughter erupted throughout the warship.

”We are soldiers!”

Fatty walked down from the command seat, threading his way among the standing bandit officers and soldiers: ”No matter where you come from, no matter what you used to do, no matter your age, gender, belief, or skin color! Today...”

He stopped in front of a lieutenant, his eyes piercing: ”You stand with us!”

The lieutenant stood upright, excitement gleamed in his eyes.

Fatty strode towards another bandit soldier.

Once again, an upright posture, once again filled with excitement. One bandit soldier after another stood like totem poles in the endless wilderness, straight and tall at the ends of Fatty’s path, listening to his voice echoing across the starry sky.

”We are an army, a collective! We call ourselves the bandit army, and we are as close as brothers! We are in the center of this battlefield! The only thing we can do is—fight!”

”If we fight this battle, we have to make it memorable! Make the Binart people tremble at the thought of our bandit army! But...” Fatty suddenly stopped. He stood among a group of blue uniforms, gritting his teeth: ”Before the battle begins, do we all understand under what name we are fighting?! Don’t tell me it’s for honor! And don’t tell me it’s for justice! Those are all bullshit names!”

The surroundings were silent.

”We need to find a name for the battle into which we pour our lives! We need a reason for our battle, so that even when death comes, we can still be calm, we can still smile.”

Each warship of the Bandit Army Fleet seemed frozen. Bandit officers and soldiers stood silently in the cabins and corridors, looking at the loudspeakers suspended overhead, listening to Fatty’s voice roll over like thunder, deafening them.

”Our homeland, our people, our homes, our families, our lives, our dreams, our freedom, everything we have is given by God, so...”

”...In the name of God!” Fatty clenched his fist, ending the pre-battle mobilization: ”Prepare for battle!”

The air was completely ignited at this moment. The entire fleet was like a pot boiling over. Everyone felt as if all their blood surged to their brains at this moment. Every bandit soldier moved into action.

”In the name of God!”

This phrase echoed in everyone’s mind.

In front of the clamorous central control station, a Lieutenant Colonel Combat Officer paced back and forth, loudly issuing orders.

On the slowly rising cabin platform, a former pilot of the Pirate Group gave a thumbs-up to the dispatcher beneath the aircraft.

In the stifling main gun room, a gunner grasped the energy control valve, pushing it forward. A pair of fierce eyes stared fixedly at the energy infusion gauge of the energy cannon.

In the noisy Power Cabin, a bald-headed power cabin supervisor frantically twisted open the spare energy valve that normally would never be opened, allowing liquefied compressed energy to flow into the engine’s Power Array.

Margaret stood blankly in place. The world became chaotic before her eyes.

Among the people coming and going, she saw Fatty standing still in the center. The entire world seemed to revolve around him. The entire starry sky seemed to boil because of one word from him.

Diverting her gaze from Fatty, she saw nothing but bandit officers and soldiers filled with murderous intent, their faces contorted under Fatty’s instigations.

Margaret had no doubt that once Fatty gave the command, these soldiers would launch a ferocious attack. No matter how powerful the enemy blocking their path, they would plunge straight in like knives!

Her gaze fell on the radar screen twenty meters away.

The numerous multicolored light dots collided, gradually engulfing the Bandit Army Fleet!

As the retreat path of the Feiyang Fleet was restricted by the rapidly narrowing passages of the Chaotic Stone Zone, the Binart Empire Fleet had already clamped down on the tail formation of the Feiyang Fleet like a pair of steel tongs.
