The following matters are truly just going through the motions.

However, Gu Xi never thought that this process would take a full month.

Although Gu Xi himself wasn’t in a hurry, he was still shocked by the long and slow process.

When Gu Xi received the message from Liu Yingguang saying that this mission was over, players were free to leave this world. It had been about twenty-five days since he killed the Fusion Association’s Third Elder.

As for Wang Yongshou’s promise to help Gu Xi get the bounty for killing the Fusion Association’s Third Elder, it was dragged out for an additional eleven days.

During this period, Gu Xi didn’t run around aimlessly; he just stayed in this world.

As the victorious party, Gu Xi finally had the chance to exhibit his talent in diplomacy.

During this time, Gu Xi was constantly wandering around the villages of various players.

When encountering neutral Undead, he found ways to guide them to Ring Fort Village.

As for the players from the Corpse Bone Fish Dragon Guild, Gu Xi used his networking skills to make some friends.

Of course, the reason Gu Xi considered them good friends was mainly because they also calculated how to preserve the villages that they had invested so much effort in building.

With the mindset that an enemy’s enemy is a friend, their communication was notably effective.

Gu Xi even outright told them he had taken over the original Screaming Castle and had established a territory consisting of one city and three villages centered around it.

In addition, he occupied many resource points.

If players needed anything, they could conduct trade and supply transactions with him.

Gu Xi’s intention in opening the trading market wasn’t to acquire the resource points from the players.

The world doesn’t have that many resources.

What Gu Xi really coveted were specialty items that Corpse Bone Fish Dragon Guild players could purchase.

After all, as the top-ranked old guild of Bailian City, Corpse Bone Fish Dragon Guild occupied more of the game world, not less.

They also had many unique materials.

For instance, Gu Xi had previously obtained some Copper Level Fish Dragon Bones from Zuo Ya.

Gu Xi used those Fish Dragon Bones to further enhance his Death Incarnation - Bone Dragon.

Now Gu Xi has reached such a level, and the players he interacts with are all more advanced than Zuo Ya, the rookie.

If they had Fish Dragon Bones, the quality would surely be better.

Gu Xi’s plan was based on this.

However, Gu Xi never anticipated that while he didn’t get Fish Dragon Bones, he ended up trading for another item from these players.

This item wasn’t exclusive to Corpse Bone Fish Dragon Guild but came from the world’s original owners, the Steel Ghost Claw Guild.

Like Corpse Bone Fish Dragon Guild, the Steel Ghost Claw Guild also had its specialties.

Their specialty was something called Iron Finger.

This Iron Finger is actually a bone fragment the size of a finger, with a blue-gray surface.

The function is very simple, every piece of Iron Finger can soak a liter of water and convert one cubic meter of soil into bricks harder than iron.

The crucial thing is, it’s not iron; its weight is much lighter than iron.

When building city walls, just soaking some water and spraying it outside the walls will transform the mud walls into iron walls.

Such usages are especially handy for temporary camp construction or emergency city wall repairs.

Some players from the Steel Ghost Claw Guild simply soaked Iron Finger in water, spayed it on the ground, and transformed their cities’ terrain into steel surfaces.

Thus, in many players’ eyes, this item is considered a consumable for city building.

After occupying the Steel Ghost Claw Guild’s territories, Corpse Bone Fish Dragon Guild players got their fair share.

Even using a lot for constructing villages, they still had plenty in stock.

When Gu Xi was trading with them, most Corpse Bone Fish Dragon Guild players immediately thought of this.

The result of this trade was that Gu Xi received about 300,000 pieces of Iron Finger Bone.

If Gu Xi wanted, he could use these Iron Fingers to turn all the city walls of Yalidu City into iron walls.

Of course, Gu Xi wasn’t foolish enough to do such a thing.

He was different from other Corpse Bone Fish Dragon Guild players; he had a Death City of his own behind him.

Therefore, Gu Xi’s vision differed from other players.

Upon learning about Iron Finger Bone, Gu Xi’s first thought wasn’t how to turn his whole city into iron.

Gu Xi wasn’t thinking like those in the towers, who had a cyberpunk mindset.

Gu Xi had only one idea: to hand these items over to professionals for processing.

To see if there were better applications for Iron Finger Bone in other aspects.

Besides, Gu Xi also obtained a multitude of items players collected from various games.

Among them were many items that Gu Xi never expected, especially after Gu Xi expressed an interest in collecting never-before-seen books or special items, the volume of items players picked up but had no place for saw a rapid increase.

At this moment, Gu Xi had to marvel at the perks of having a guild.

Don’t mind the fact that Gu Xi had his own Death City, where the number of Undead could be counted in tens of thousands.

But the worlds he was involved with were just a few.

Even though he accumulated a lot of supplies, it all hinged on quantity.

There were many worlds he hadn’t even heard of.

Not to mention all those peculiar tools, books, and special items obtained from those worlds.

It could be said that this directly opened a new world’s door for Gu Xi.

Gu Xi started calculating in his mind whether he should conduct more trades like this.

To enrich his collection.

Such transactions continued until the mission’s end process was complete, and Gu Xi gradually ended the trades.

Afterward, Gu Xi shifted focus from trading to defense.

Once Wang Yongshou’s process was complete, Gu Xi had already spread his name and needs.

Gu Xi claimed territory; if the Steel Ghost Claw Guild could come and take it back if they were capable.

Even though Gu Xi’s stance was provocative, it didn’t garner much attention from the Steel Ghost Claw Guild.

Currently, all of Steel Ghost Claw Guild’s focus was absorbed by Corpse Bone Fish Dragon Guild.

Even if Gu Xi occupied Jiaolong Blood Castle, it was just a small piece of land.

Compared to the territories occupied by Corpse Bone Fish Dragon Guild, it was insignificant.

Until Corpse Bone Fish Dragon Guild is hit, probably no one will bother Gu Xi.

Thus, after receiving the reward from Wang Yongshou, Gu Xi actively exited this game, leaving Dietrich to guard Jiaolong Blood Castle, safeguarding the territory Gu Xi had just acquired.
