Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 971: Chapter 969: The Double-headed Bone Dragon Slain Again

”Yu Fang, try this.”

Seeing that Li Yufang was about to rush out, Gu Xi quickly stopped her.

At the same time, he raised his hand and handed the enhanced Titan Slayer to Li Yufang.

After receiving the Titan Slayer, Li Yufang was stunned for a moment, then raised this extremely long spear.

”This doesn’t seem... this is what I want, don’t worry, anything you give me I will like.”

Listening to Li Yufang’s words, Gu Xi was a bit speechless, he didn’t quite understand what was going on with Li Yufang.

However, at this moment, Li Yufang placed her hand on the spearhead of the Titan Slayer, pressing it down with force, and a bolt of lightning struck her.

The power of this lightning wasn’t strong, but the effect was quite good.

Especially for a Living Ghost like Li Yufang, she needed to be cleansed by thunder to transform from yin to yang, breaking through Level 35.

Previously, when Gu Xi traveled with Li Yufang, he continuously used Thunder Attack with Death Incarnation-Titan on her.

Though the Titan Slayer in front of her was longer, its effect was excellent.

No negative effects, no need for seven kinds of lightning, and can be thrown to execute a full-power strike.

Against larger-sized enemies, it even boosts attack power.

This looks like a good weapon in every way.

As for the issue of it being seven meters long, it doesn’t matter to Li Yufang.

In her world, there’s something similar to Ruyi Technique, or other methods to enlarge or shrink objects.

One could even turn a small mountain into the size of a seal, so what is a seven-meter long weapon? It can be turned into chopsticks to eat with.

Once she figured this out, Li Yufang’s expression changed rapidly.

She directly hugged the Titan Slayer, unwilling to let it go for a moment.

”As long as you like it, go kill that guy later.”

Gu Xi pointed at the Third Elder below who was playing a cat-and-mouse game.

At this moment, he was besieged by all of Gu Xi’s men who could rush down.

In normal times, such an attack would be a trivial matter for him, no matter what method he used, he could turn these enemies into corpses and eventually explode them.

The fireworks of Corpse Burst were the most beautiful sight to him.

But now, the Third Elder’s most important mana was gone, Yong Dou had already noticed the situation over there, and he couldn’t even use the Slowdown Skill.

As long as the Third Elder showed any move to replenish mana, a Mana Extraction would be directly used on him.

The main strategy was to not let him have mana.

After a few more hits, the Third Elder realized this wouldn’t work.

If this continued, he’d lose face even if he got out.

This wouldn’t do, he had to give the Screaming Castle a stunning performance.

Thinking of this, the Third Elder reached into his arms and took out something akin to a dagger.

This dagger looked unremarkable, but the Third Elder’s expression was serious when he took it out, not at all like a Level 30+ Black Player.

After taking out this dagger, he didn’t replace it with his usual White Bone Staff but stabbed the dagger into his heart.

After doing all this, a phantom of the dagger appeared on the Third Elder’s forehead, heart, and the back of his right hand holding the White Bone Staff.

At the same time, the Third Elder was quite excited, as if he had turned from an Undead Mage into a Death Knight, and his whole aura changed.

His height also increased visibly, the black mist on his body turned into a black warhorse, and the robe he wore turned into solid armor.

The only thing that didn’t change was the dagger stuck in his forehead, heart, and right hand arm.

Clearly, this dagger temporarily transformed the Third Elder into a Death Knight.

A Death Knight no longer needed mana.

Meanwhile, the aura around him also transformed, from one that enhanced explosion power to one that expanded attack range.

The Third Elder raised the White Bone Staff, under the power of the dagger, the White Bone Staff turned into a spear, which he pointed forward.

With one blow, he killed over a hundred enemies in front of him.

Simultaneously, the Third Elder’s left hand pressed downward, and an aura appeared in the air, his left hand extended from the aura, pressing heavily on the double-headed Bone Dragon hovering in the sky.

”Can you resurrect? I want to see how many times you can resurrect.”

With a forceful grip, the Third Elder pinned the double-headed Bone Dragon to the ground.

However, the Third Elder was no longer an Undead Mage, but a Death Knight.

He couldn’t do Corpse Burst at any moment as he did before.

The double-headed Bone Dragon was suppressed but only had one head destroyed, not exploding like before.

But this move also enraged the double-headed Bone Dragon.

Previously, the double-headed Bone Dragon was killed once by such a move.

After a hard resurrection, one head was gone again.

How could it tolerate this? So the double-headed Bone Dragon with only one head left charged directly at the Third Elder, its sternum automatically opening and snapping towards the Third Elder, clearly intending to entangle him.

The Third Elder had become a Death Knight and wasn’t someone who fought with the mentality of an Undead Mage. The dagger’s transformation represented that his body, equipment, and spirit had transformed into a Death Knight.

So, the Third Elder’s current combat style was also that of a Death Knight.

Facing the charging double-headed Bone Dragon, the Third Elder spurred his warhorse to dash towards it, thrusting the White Bone Staff, now a spear, at it.

With this blow, the remaining head of the double-headed Bone Dragon was shattered into pieces.

Having just resurrected, the double-headed Bone Dragon was killed again.

Then, the Third Elder stretched out his hand and took out a thumb-sized Ice Crystal which he then put into his mouth.

If someone looked closely, they would have noticed that inside this Ice Crystal was a shrunken brain.

Though encased in ice, the brain was still faintly pulsing.

After swallowing this Ice Crystal, the speed of the warhorse under the Third Elder clearly increased significantly.

At the same time, the Third Elder had no intention of retreating, his eyes now covered with ice, yet his mind was extremely clear.

That Ice Crystal just now was something relatively unique among Black Players.

The idea of Black Players was to turn themselves into game characters.

And that Ice Crystal, along with the brain inside it, could temporarily enhance the status of Black Players within the game.

From ordinary game characters, they become important roles in the game, either key characters or bosses.

The current Third Elder intended to strengthen his combat power to slay all enemies blocking his path.
