While Gu Xi was deploying his subordinates, Di Mi and Dietrich were also arranging their own men.

They all knew very clearly that there was only one Eternal Enslavement Altar in Yalidu City, and the higher the Undead Level, the longer the time needed for resurrection.

Right now, many of the troops around them were ones they had personally brought out.

If a large number of them died in battle, they would have to wait a long time for resurrection.

Not to mention that their Experience Points would be reset to zero upon resurrection.

For High Tier Undead, those Experience were things they had accumulated bit by bit.

If they were directly reset to zero, all the effort they had put in during this period would be gone.

To ensure their own interests, Di Mi and Dietrich had to try their best to exert maximum Combat Power while also ensuring the safety of their own subordinates.

At the same time, because Amirka had not yet been resurrected, Gu Xi and the others were not too sure what the situation would be when the enemy made a move, so Di Mi and Dietrich were both acting according to their own plans.

So inside the Jiaolong Blood Castle, even though Gu Xi clearly had forces strong enough, there were several different arrangements in place.

This made the operations inside the Jiaolong Blood Castle somewhat chaotic and out of sync.

This point was easily noticed by the Third Elder.

At the beginning he had still been standing there, shocked by the Flood Dragon phantom in the sky, hesitating whether he should make a move.

Now, though, he instead started laughing.

This was what he liked to see; the Screaming Castle was so strong that once he took it, wouldn’t the benefits he gained be even greater?

With this thought in mind, the Third Elder stepped forward, and an aura appeared under his feet.

Then he strode confidently toward the Jiaolong Blood Castle, as if he didn’t put the enemies inside the Jiaolong Blood Castle in his eyes at all.

In fact, the Third Elder himself knew that he had always been watching the Flood Dragon in the sky.

Before the Flood Dragon made a move, more than eighty percent of his attention was focused on the sky.

At this moment, Dietrich had already begun to act. The three Vampire Heroes inside the Jiaolong Blood Castle each led different units, appearing at the highest points of the City Wall as well as at the City Gate.

The ones charging the fastest were the ordinary Vampires; this was the troop type Gu Xi had converted the most through his Soul Summoning Skill.

After all, Gu Xi had no intention of converting cannon-fodder units like Twisted Blood Slaves.

When these Vampires lunged out from all directions, the Third Elder also let out a small laugh.

The Third Elder usually played with Corpse Burst.

He played all kinds of Corpse Burst in a very flashy way.

Aside from the Shadow Corpse Burst and Ghost Burst he had used before, there were ones that directly exploded someone’s blood, ones that directly blew up someone’s bones, and even ones that could trigger an explosion inside the enemy’s body while leaving behind a complete layer of skin in the end.

Although explosions weren’t really an Undead Mage’s style, Corpse Burst was a Basic Skill of Undead Mages.

To play Corpse Burst to this extent, there really was no one like him.

When the Vampires in front of him flew over, the Third Elder suddenly smiled.

”Blood Mist Eruption!”

He pointed at a Vampire who was relatively close to him.

That Vampire was blown into a cloud of blood mist on the spot.

And that blood mist triggered a follow-up chain of explosions.

Any Vampire that came into contact with the blood mist was all within the explosion’s range.

In just a few seconds, this entire wave of Vampires was blown to pieces in the blood mist.

The remaining Vampires also halted their dive, no longer having any intention of flying down.

The Vampires stopped, but Dietrich moved. ”Send in the Vampire Knights.”

The Vampire Knights were an assassin-type Greatsword Vampire unit capable of Teleportation.

They wielded Two-Handed Swords, looking like weapon fighters, but they had Teleportation abilities and were used to charging behind the enemy to fight.

There were such Vampire Knights in Yalidu City, and there were also such units inside the Jiaolong Blood Castle.

When Gu Xi was doing his Summoning, he naturally did not miss out on supplementing this kind of troop.

Under Dietrich’s command, a Vampire Knight Boss led sixty Vampire Knights to appear behind the Third Elder.

The moment they appeared, the Third Elder sensed them.

So the Third Elder swept his hand back, and his White Bone Staff pointed behind him.

”Death Qi Explosion!”

A series of explosions rang out behind him.

Within those explosions, all the Vampire Knights were blasted away.

At the same time, the Third Elder took another step forward, about to walk toward the Main City Gate that Gu Xi had yet to close.

Right at this moment, a burst of drum-and-music sounded in Gu Xi’s ears.

Gu Xi was extremely familiar with this sound; earlier, while he had been in the bridal sedan, he had heard it who knew how many times.

It was the sound of Li Yufang’s wedding procession.

Li Yufang had arrived.

With this assurance, Gu Xi finally let out a breath of relief. He turned his head and said to Yongdou and Blaise, ”Begin!”

Upon hearing this command, Yongdou was the first to act.

The Demon Sacrifice Camp had the longest Preparation time.

But once they were prepared, they were the fastest to strike.

At the very moment Gu Xi finished speaking, Yongdou activated two Magic Ceremonies: Mana Extraction and the Slowdown Skill.

Both of these Spells fell squarely on the Third Elder.

The next instant, a huge aura erupted around the Third Elder.

You could say that with this strike, Gu Xi directly drained the Third Elder’s foundations.

Mana was the most important thing for a Mage.

Without Life, you could still turn things around with Mana, but without Mana, a Mage had only one path left—being killed.

As his own Mana was being drawn away, the Third Elder’s first reaction was to try to seize control of his Mana and pull it back.

But besides being affected by Mana Extraction, he was also being impacted by the Slowdown Skill.

Although the gap in strength between the Spellcaster and him was quite large,

Yongdou was using Magic Ceremonies, and was even focusing a Range Magic onto him alone.

So the effect still had some bite to it; the Third Elder’s reactions were indeed slowed a bit.

Vast amounts of Mana formed countless large and small Blue Ghosts, flying toward Yongdou.

This kind of Mana-level extraction also gave Gu Xi quite a scare.

He hadn’t expected the Third Elder’s Mana to be so solid that it actually had a hint of Spirituality.

This quality of Mana had already surpassed normal standards.

It seemed that upon reaching Level 30, a Mage would undergo a strengthening of their own Mana.

And just then, Blaise also unleashed an attack toward the Third Elder.

”With me—fire!”

Under Blaise’s command, over ten thousand Bone Arrows shot out.

The Third Elder was just about to recall his Mana when he suddenly heard a buzzing sound by his ear.

The Third Elder was still under the effects of the Slowdown Skill; he slowly raised his head, only managing to see the arrows less than twenty meters away from him.

This Rain of Arrows, dark as storm clouds, was something even the earlier Third Elder had no way of dodging, let alone now with the Negative Effect of the Slowdown Skill on him.

Before the Rain of Arrows fell, he only had time to do one thing—wrap himself in his Black Fog Cloak.
