Da-da-da!

As the rain of arrows fell upon the Third Elder’s dark mist, most of the arrows seemed to hit thick leather and vanished within the mist.

But a few arrows still accurately hit the half-body held by the Third Elder.

The Third Elder’s dark mist couldn’t defend it, or at least his mind wasn’t on defense right now.

When the Third Elder reacted, the half-body had already turned into a skewer like a candied hawthorn, with arrows stuck all over it.

The Third Elder looked at the half-body he was holding and then looked up in Gu Xi’s direction, his eyes becoming dazed.

The reason he carried this half-body back and forth was to use this Demon Heretic to open a gate to other game worlds.

But at the destination, it was killed instead.

This made him extremely angry, and he had only one thought—to blow up the entire castle in front of him.

Use the players’ lives inside the castle to open a path to other game worlds.

Anyway, he definitely wanted to leave this cursed place.

The Third Elder stepped forward, raised the White Bone Staff, preparing a powerful corpse explosion at Jiaolong Blood Castle.

But he discovered amidst the arrow rain, while he was focused on defense, he forgot that his mana was being drained away.

The Third Elder’s mana was now exhausted, although his life force and physical strength were intact, he could still use various weapons at hand, but his most practiced corpse explosion spells couldn’t be used.

At least he couldn’t blow up Jiaolong Blood Castle in one strike as he intended.

Realizing something was wrong, the Third Elder looked up at the flood dragon illusion in the sky.

That was the enemy he guarded against all along.

This was his weakest moment, if the flood dragon illusion attacked now, he’d certainly be killed.

Therefore, the Third Elder understood he must restore his mana, even just a little mana.

Thinking this, the Third Elder reached towards his waist, intending to drink a potion.

Just then, the Vampire Knights, stopped by the explosion, moved again, teleporting beside the Third Elder, swinging their two-handed longsword to strike him.

The Third Elder was still slow in action at this moment.

Facing such an attack, he could only release his aura, trying to use it to block the Vampire Knights.

But the Third Elder’s situation wasn’t good; he was an Undead Mage following the corpse explosion path.

His aura was tailored to enhance explosion power and range, at most strengthening some intelligence.

Anyway, the Third Elder’s aura wasn’t suitable for close combat; at least it wasn’t meant for that.

When the aura expanded, the Vampire Knights didn’t retreat but instead charged at the Third Elder aggressively.

At this moment, the Third Elder swung his hand, threw out the half-body, simultaneously collapsing backward.

Massive amounts of white bone emerged from the black robe, shielding the Third Elder from the Vampire Knights’ attack.

With the defense of these white bones, the Third Elder finally recovered from the sluggish state.

He rapidly popped a magic potion into his mouth, intending to cast another corpse explosion.

Unexpectedly, Yong Dou struck again, extracting the Third Elder’s mana.

The recently replenished mana was drained away by Yong Dou.

Such a situation infuriated the Third Elder.

He roared, heavily struck the ground with the White Bone Staff.

The humanoid white bones quickly hoisted up the Third Elder, preparing to drag him to a more distant location.

The Third Elder was a Level 30 existence; he could move his aura remotely, as long as he could perceive the location, the aura could appear there.

With the aura present, he could explode corpses anywhere equally.

However, neither Gu Xi nor Di Mi, nor Dieteris intended to let the Third Elder escape.

Gu Xi was the farthest, but he immediately pointed the Illusion Magic Wand towards the Third Elder.

”Soul Summoning Skill!”

Gu Xi saw that the humanoid white bones carrying the Third Elder weren’t Skeleton Soldiers but real white bones.

They were merely corpses manipulated by the Third Elder, not undead.

Corpses could explode, naturally, they could be summoned too.

Gu Xi didn’t need to fully summon these white bones, just influence a few of them.

The Third Elder never encountered anyone as imaginative as Gu Xi.

His hand of humanoid white bones had blocked a great many attacks for him.

Yet in a blink, these white bones became his greatest threat.

Under Gu Xi’s soul summoning skill, at least half of these white bones turned into Level 8 Skeleton Soldiers.

Gu Xi didn’t require them to fight the Third Elder, only to drag him back.

The controlled white bones becoming others’ Skeleton Soldiers infuriated the Third Elder.

He had to open up his black mist robe again, releasing another batch of subordinates.

A vast amount of soul-like dots.

These were player souls previously manipulated by the Third Elder.

When releasing these souls, the Third Elder’s body merged with them and swiftly fled outward.

Gu Xi wanted to strike again, but he wasn’t sure how these souls worked, he could only command.

”Don’t let him escape.”

Gu Xi knew clearly if the Third Elder escaped like this, once he restored mana, tracking him down again would be considerably difficult.

Gu Xi didn’t plan to guard against the enemy here; he intended to seize the opportunity to kill the enemy.

Thus, when facing the enemy, Gu Xi immediately issued pursuit orders.

At this moment, Bone Dragons and Ghost Dragon Corps simultaneously charged out.

Having suffered at the hands of the Third Elder, they now wanted revenge.

Upon Gu Xi’s command, all Bone Dragons and Ghost Dragons rushed forward.

Di Mi and Dieteris also took action, deploying those who could fly, teleport, and stop the enemy’s advance.

Utilizing all methods to prevent the Third Elder from escaping Jiaolong Blood Castle’s attack range.

Meanwhile, Li Yufang, who’d been watching the battle beside Gu Xi, also made a move.

She intended to attack the Third Elder; in Li Yufang’s view, the Third Elder had some strength but not much.
