Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 968: Chapter 966: Confrontation

As the Third Elder was contemplating how to invade the Screaming Castle.

Gu Xi had already received news from Amirka.

When the Third Elder made his move, Amirka knew he had encountered the formidable enemy who had previously wiped out the Bone Dragon Corps.

So he used his ability to arrange troops, sending ten Cyan Knights into an inconspicuous corner.

When the explosion occurred, these ten Cyan Knights were already running back, taking the news of the enemy’s appearance back to the Jiaolong Blood Castle.

Even in death, he had to ensure Gu Xi knew the enemy had appeared.

And when Amirka died in battle, Gu Xi, who was in the field, received the news immediately.

He considered for a moment and didn’t check how Amirka died but retreated immediately to the Jiaolong Blood Castle and notified Luna to resurrect Amirka.

In less than twenty minutes, Gu Xi already knew what had happened to Amirka.

Seeing only ten surviving Cyan Knights, Gu Xi’s face turned extremely grim.

”I already know about this. You all return to Yalidu City first. Amirka is being resurrected at the Eternal Enslavement Altar, and you should be able to meet him when he revives.

Pass a message to him for me. He did very well this time; after he returns, he will get what he wants.”

Gu Xi knew exactly what Amirka wanted most; he had been striving to obtain a legion formation.

However, Gu Xi had been holding off on this issue.

On one hand, because Amirka only focused on knights, dismissing other troops and unit types, at most leading another batch of Gladiatorial Black Guards, which made Gu Xi somewhat dissatisfied.

On the other hand, Gu Xi lacked a suitable formation, unlike Di Mi, who even needed to prepare a Giant Garden.

Now it was different. Amirka’s death in battle made Gu Xi acknowledge Amirka’s effort, which warranted such a statement.

Hearing Gu Xi’s words, the Cyan Knights saluted him.

Then they retreated swiftly.

At this moment, Gu Xi activated the special mirror on his left wrist and contacted Luna.

”Luna, how long before Li Yufang arrives?”

”She has already arrived in Yalidu City and is now heading from the Carriage Station to the Main City Gate. She should be there soon.”

Hearing the news from Luna, Gu Xi finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Once Li Yufang arrived, Gu Xi would have the combat power to fight that Level 30 enemy.

At this moment, Dietrich also sent someone over with the latest news.

”Sir, the enemy is approaching.”

Hearing this news, Gu Xi immediately went to the original mountain peak location.

Standing at a relatively high position, Gu Xi could see an Undead Mage in a black robe standing outside the Jiaolong Blood Castle.

In his hand, he held half of a human body.

”A red-skinned Demon Heretic, it seems that’s the half-body previously found.

Even with only half left, they have to carry it. Is this thing very important?”

No one could answer Gu Xi’s question.

After completing the ritual, Eve had already returned to Yalidu City.

As for Di Mi and Dietrich, they had begun battle preparations as soon as Amirka fell in battle.

The reason Dietrich could detect the enemy’s approach so quickly was due to his preemptive battle preparedness.

At this time, the Third Elder stood before the Jiaolong Blood Castle.

Now the Jiaolong Blood Castle had changed from Screaming Castle as well, because of the previous ritual, much of the mountain earth and trees covering the castle had fallen, revealing sections of the ruins beneath.

When Dietrich captured Jiaolong Blood Castle, he had been repairing and upgrading it.

But the time was too short, less than two hours; what more could he do?

The city walls couldn’t even be tidied up, let alone arrow towers or other defense towers.

Fortunately, Dietrich’s forces had also arrived from Yellow Springs Road.

Their arrival replenished the city’s troops.

At least the city’s force was no longer just the residents of Jiaolong Blood Castle and Level 8, 9 Vampire Squad.

Simultaneously, Gu Xi’s Conversion Undead Combat Squad, and the just-resurrected Bone Dragon Corps had also arrived.

These troops gave Dietrich significant confidence.

Simultaneously, due to the influx of troops, the Yin Qi around Jiaolong Blood Castle naturally increased significantly.

Above Jiaolong Blood Castle, a layer of dark red blood cloud appeared.

This blood cloud was somewhat similar to the blood clouds Gu Xi had encountered when the Vampire Cavalry launched in the past.

Now, within the blood cloud, a Flood Dragon’s silhouette would occasionally appear.

This was a manifestation and change of the Jiaolong Blood Castle stimulated by Yin Qi.

It was a display of power to the enemy, signaling that their large army was garrisoned, and they were not to be trifled with.

Seeing the Flood Dragon in the blood cloud, the Third Elder’s face also grew grim.

”This is truly insane, what is this situation.”

The Third Elder could clearly sense that the Flood Dragon in the blood cloud was powerful enough to suppress him.

In his view, this was illogical.

Bailian City had been investigated; their strongest player hadn’t exceeded Level 20, with only three pieces of Orange Armor, all handed down from the previous City Lord.

That’s why they considered Bailian City a fusion target.

But what on earth was happening in front of his eyes?

Even though the Flood Dragon in the sky didn’t bear any aura, the Third Elder felt it would be stronger than himself.

While the Third Elder was puzzling over the situation, Gu Xi had summoned Blaise and Brave Fight.

”Do you see the guy down there? Brave Fight, you’ll make the first move when the battle begins.”

Brave Fight understood what Gu Xi wanted to do.

”Rest assured, sir, I know what to do. Mana Extraction, combined with the Slowdown Skill, I’ll ensure he can’t exert his full strength.”

Blaise glanced at the Third Elder’s position, ”Rest assured, sir, our current position is excellent, making it very easy to concentrate fire on the opponent, but the number of Skeleton Shooters is still lacking; one thousand might not be enough to take him down instantly.”

”No need to take him down instantly, do you see the half-body he’s holding?

I previously thought it was a matter of not finding the player that infiltrated from Yalidu City.

Even though there were five corpses, only four players were found converted into undead.

It seems that one player isn’t dead.

That fellow is holding onto that half-a-player, so his existence must be crucial.

Don’t make your move just yet; wait till the battle starts, and then strike. You only have one chance, make sure you deal with that half-body guy for me.”
