Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 976: Chapter 974: Ring Fort Village

Gu Xi was explaining the situation here to Li Yufang while directing his subordinates to clear the small plain in front.

When Gu Xi came over earlier, he stored quite a lot of supplies here.

Also, some supplies brought over from the Dark Swamp were placed here.

But now, the small plain in front no longer needs sorting. After Gu Xi dismantled the City Wall and City Gate, it can be directly used to build the village.

Although Gu Xi already has a main city and two branch cities under his command.

This village is the first city Gu Xi has established on his own outside.

At this moment, Gu Xi was still somewhat excited.

He personally brought the Energy Core to the central position of the small plain.

And near the creek, he dug a pit and buried the Energy Core in it.

As the Energy Core was buried, the Undead who served as laborers around Gu Xi quickly brought various supplies.

These mainly consisted of wood and stone.

These materials were swiftly placed into the pit just dug out.

With a blue light rising from the pit, a single-story stone-based log cabin was built.

As the stone-based log cabin rose, a voice came to Gu Xi’s ear.

[You are building a village, please name this village.]

Regarding the village, when he was in Jiaolong Blood Castle, Gu Xi had already considered it in detail.

The village in front, located on the plain below Jiaolong Blood Castle, is an affiliated village under Jiaolong Blood Castle. Gu Xi is not someone with a romantic cell.

He names things based on practicality.

Upon hearing this voice, Gu Xi immediately responded without hesitation.

”Name it Ring Fort Village.”

[Assembly Hall established successfully, Ring Fort Village Level 1, can promote one Garrison Hero.]

With the sound of these words, the door of the stone-based log cabin opened, and looking inside from the door, you could see a small room with a table laid out.

On the table were utensils, knives and forks, candlesticks, and a map.

From here, it’s clear that the Assembly Hall of Ring Fort Village has been completed.

Gu Xi didn’t think much at this moment, he pushed open the door of the Assembly Hall and walked in.

The first thing he noticed was the map on the table.

As Gu Xi had estimated, because Ring Fort Village is too close to Jiaolong Blood Castle, it is affected by Jiaolong Blood Castle, and the actual controllable range does not extend towards Jiaolong Blood Castle.

Instead, it forms a ring area outside Jiaolong Blood Castle.

This means that the range within one hundred kilometers outside Jiaolong Blood Castle is all within the control range of Ring Fort Village.

The small plain in front is just the starting point of Ring Fort Village.

The true control range of Ring Fort Village is actually the position Gu Xi planned to handle before attacking Screaming Castle, where Di Mi went to explore.

At that time, Di Mi cleared many wild monster gathering points, capturing some wild camps and wild buildings.

The most important of these are, of course, various mine caves.

Although the number is not large, they are all now marked on the map of Ring Fort Village.

[City Name: Ring Fort Village

City Direction: Resource Transit

City Traits: Subordinate City (This is an affiliate city outside Jiaolong Blood Castle, providing certain enhancements for Undead in the Vampire direction)

City Level: 1 (1/4)

Core Buildings (1/4): Assembly Hall (provides 500 Negative Energy Points daily), Warehouse (not built), Barracks/Market (choose one, not built), Tavern (not built)

Supporting Buildings (0/12): None

Garrison Hero: None

Garrison Troops: None]

From everything shown on the map, Gu Xi could clearly see that Ring Fort Village is exactly as he imagined, mainly a village for gathering, patrolling, and resource transit.

In the architectural design plans from Yalidov City, there’s a Carriage Station, a building that can establish transportation links with Yalidov City, and Gu Xi would certainly build one.

The Blood-colored Breeding Ground connects to Jiaolong Blood Castle as a Flying Point, and Gu Xi naturally plans to set one up.

The Eternal Enslavement Altar is even more understandable, allowing fallen Undead to resurrect.

Even though the present Ring Fort Village is for resource transit, the Defense Power must be adequate, and patrols will definitely be deployed.

In this way, ensuring the resurrection of Undead subordinates becomes a top priority.

Were it not that the current City Level of Ring Fort Village is still quite low and many plots are undeveloped, Gu Xi would have undoubtedly invested more buildings to enhance subordinate units here.

With no option for large and medium-sized buildings, Gu Xi could only focus on small buildings.

The trio of City Gate, Moat, and City Wall is for Defense, without saying.

The Assembly Point, Magic Fountain, Patrol Point, and Energy Lighthouse, these four buildings are all for ensuring that the hero under Gu Xi’s command can patrol more safely.

Simply put, as long as Gu Xi’s hero patrols around here, they will receive various support effects from Ring Fort Village.

Finally, there’s the Labor Camp and Mine Cart Station.

These are buildings for transporting mining workers and bringing resources back.

All these come from Liu Yingguang’s support.

It can be said that Gu Xi has put significant effort into selecting appropriate architectural design plans for Ring Fort Village.

However, facts prove that Gu Xi’s choices this time are extraordinarily apt.

Given the current situation, Gu Xi is already quite satisfied.

Gu Xi turned to look at the hero stationed here.

This was the tool hero for Gu Xi when he initially attacked Screaming Castle.

His name is Meg, an Undead hero without peculiar features.

His Talent is the Skeleton Soldier, providing certain boosts when commanding Skeleton Soldiers.

However, such heroes are really too numerous under Gu Xi’s command, usually just leading some Skeleton Soldiers, wandering around nearby, and even having little role in attacking Screaming Castle.

But such a tool hero has one advantage: they know their position.

Whatever they’re assigned, they will earnestly execute.

Like previously, when Gu Xi assigned Meg to guard here, he dutifully stayed put, not stepping out even when external problems arose.

Now, it’s the same, and Gu Xi waved him over.

”Meg, you’re now responsible for the construction, development, and patrol guard duties of this Ring Fort Village.”
