[Jade-Like Living Ghost (Summoned Creature) strikes Fear Knight ?? (Level 31), you gain 1 point of experience (1 point overflow stored), summoned creature gains 79 points of experience (79 points overflow stored), other participating undead gain 216 points of experience.]

With a ding, the dark red lightning descending from the sky dissipated.

Gu Xi noticed from afar that where the lightning disappeared, Titan Slayer was stuck there.

Where the Third Elder had fallen, only black dust remained.

The dust gathered into a human shape, maintaining the Third Elder’s last posture.

Upon hearing this sound, Gu Xi muttered to himself.

”Fear Knight, what a pity.”

He was not talking about the deceased Third Elder, but about the new undead transformed in Yalidu City through Double Death.

The slain Third Elder was in Fear Knight status, and although the meaning of the question marks was unclear, it was certain the converted undead would definitely be in the direction of those like Death Knights.

The most he could do was choose one of Gu Xi’s three substitute troop types.

This is not as good as the previous Undead Mage.

If the kill had happened in Undead Mage status, at least a Witch Demon could have been obtained.

This time it was somewhat of a loss.

Thinking this, Gu Xi walked to Li Yufang’s side.

”Husband, why did you come over, this battlefield is dangerous.”

Seeing Gu Xi approaching, Li Yufang extended her jade-like small hand and pressed it against Gu Xi.

”It’s fine, all the ones that should be dead are dead.”

Gu Xi said calmly, ”But Yufang, this time you should accompany me for a few more days.”

Gu Xi still wondered what if this Third Elder wasn’t the only high-ranking member of the Fusion Association.

This one is already Level 31, what if they send another after sending Li Yufang back?

Gu Xi knew he wasn’t able to leave here immediately, he still had to guard this place for a while.

Li Yufang didn’t know Gu Xi’s concerns, and upon hearing his request to stay, her cheeks reddened.

”I’ll listen to you, husband.”

After all, the Grass Returning Pill wasn’t urgent, staying here for a few days to half a month should be fine.

It was an opportunity to spend more time with Gu Xi, and staying had its benefits.

Not to mention, the Titan Slayer was worth her special trip.

So, Li Yufang leaned her head on Gu Xi’s shoulder, staying by his side as before.

Meanwhile, Gu Xi stepped forward to collect all the black ashes, even though they had been washed by lightning, they were considered advanced corpse material.

The quality might be slightly less than that of the Flood Dragon corpse.

Someone like Gu Xi would surely not waste such good material.

Even if these ashes couldn’t be used for Undead Transformation at the moment, they could be used to strengthen a city like the Flood Dragon corpse.

Or next time when Gu Xi performs an Undead Transformation, adding a bit of ashes to see if it improves the outcome.

While collecting the ashes, Gu Xi discovered that despite the previous lightning strike, two items remained.

This aroused Gu Xi’s curiosity.

He carefully poured the ashes from the two items into a small jar, and then picked up one of the items.

It was the dagger used by the Third Elder to switch between Undead Mage and Death Knight states, a not particularly long dagger.

When the dagger was lodged in the Third Elder, it wasn’t very noticeable, but once Gu Xi held it, he noticed it was made of a cold-iron emitting a chilling aura.

Aside from the sharp three-fifths of the dagger tip, the rest was notably solid, and on both sides of the dagger, Gu Xi saw two different depictions.

One was purely skeletal, the other was of a robed Undead Mage.

[Netherworld Living Dagger (Orange, Item, Pseudo)]

[Special 1: Netherworld Transfiguration, absorbs one’s own power into the dagger, transforming oneself into a different career path (level and equipment will automatically adjust).]

[Note 1: A living dagger from the Netherworld, it’s an entity alive in the Netherworld, but both life and death are keys, even in pseudo form, it holds Orange Armor effects.]

[Note 2: The transformation of the dagger is limited to corresponding professions, such as Undead Mage to Death Knight, Alchemist to Warlock, etc., it cannot arbitrarily convert professions.]

[Note 3: This Orange Armor is a pseudo item, the transformation has limited uses, resolve it properly or it may exhaust its energy and revert to Purple Armor, potentially losing its transformation abilities and leading to failure.]

Observing the dagger’s details, Gu Xi understood what was going on.

The Third Elder had used this Netherworld Living Dagger’s power to switch from an Undead Mage to a Death Knight.

But Gu Xi didn’t need to do this.

He was already a Death Witch Lord, and his path would only grow stronger, making better use of the Death Three Divine Skills.

Such a tool was unnecessary for him.

Furthermore, being a pseudo item, despite its orange color, it could unpredictably turn purple someday.

Fortunately, the previous [Frozen Death God’s Finger Bone] had been used immediately by Gu Xi.

But for this [Netherworld Living Dagger], Gu Xi hesitated, fearing few players would be interested.

After fiddling with the dagger momentarily, Gu Xi tucked it away.

His attention then shifted to the other item.

[Netherworld Living Dagger] had likely survived because of its orange quality, and this item should be of equal quality.

Thinking this, Gu Xi brushed the grey dust off the item and cradled it in his hands.

The moment he grasped it, his hand involuntarily trembled, nearly dropping it.

Gu Xi wasn’t startled by its attributes, but rather by its weight.

Though it appeared the size of a fist, resembling an ordinary black stone, holding it felt like cradling a mountain.

Moreover, Gu Xi could sense a substantial amount of Yin Qi and earthy presence within the stone, evident as his hand reached out, reacting to its stimulus.

[Ding, you obtained Yin Stone Mountain Range (Purple).]

[Yin Stone Mountain Range (Purple): A unique mountain cultivated using a player’s body as the foundation, countless game mountains, and numerous player bodies as sacrifices. Portable and store a significant amount of player corpses.]

[Note: You are not the owner of the Yin Stone Mountain Range, you may deploy it but cannot retrieve it, though it can be carried while moving.]
