Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 981: Chapter 979: Orange Armor Troop Training Methods

Eve, as one of the four Contracted Undead under Gu Xi’s command, has a relatively low presence.

This is partly because she is usually in the Magic District conducting various kinds of research, and partly because she didn’t grow up alongside Gu Xi like Luna did, making her naturally less intimate with him.

Generally, Gu Xi thinks of Eve when something comes up, but it’s rare for Eve to approach on her own.

The sudden appearance of Eve in front of Gu Xi startled him.

One must know that what Eve holds in her hands are the most critical research directions for Gu Xi.

If something were to go wrong, Yalidu City would be shaken to its core.

”Eve, what’s going on?”

”My lord, the Blood Crown Book has been completely sorted out. After removing the parts about the Blood Race, Vampires, and Blood Sacrifice, I have organized something different.”

Upon hearing this, Gu Xi’s face turned serious.

If Eve specifically sought him out, it definitely wasn’t a simple matter.

Gu Xi speculated, ”Is it possible to fuse with the castles within Death City? If so, when my Death City reaches Level 12, will the castle level I deploy be upgraded?”

Gu Xi’s idea was quite nice.

Although Dietrich is temporarily trapped in the Jiaolong Blood Castle,

he has gained the blessing of Orange Armor inside the Jiaolong Blood Castle.

Not to mention whether his combat power has increased, just having Orange Armor he’s able to get all the benefits.

Gu Xi was already contemplating this at the time.

If the setup within the Blood Crown Book can be reused, he holds two castles in his hands.

Yaliduvi Tower and Sleeping Beauty Castle.

No matter who is arranged to use the Orange Armor, as long as Gu Xi can deploy these castles onto the battlefield, the effect would be no different from him using the Orange Armor himself.

Especially Eldest Princess Anna.

She usually resides in Yaliduvi Tower, basically becoming one with it; it makes no difference whether she steps out of the castle or not.

Not to mention that there is still a Grand Princess Council under Eldest Princess Anna.

Although there are currently only four people, with what’s left in Gu Xi’s hands, adding another four Lords is not an issue.

The things that can be elevated here exceed Gu Xi’s imagination.

However, Eve’s following statement made Gu Xi realize he had underestimated the gains this time.

”No, my lord. After removing the parts about the Blood Race, Vampires, and Blood Sacrifice, I discovered that the core of the book isn’t what we thought.

What we obtained is merely a severely reduced version of the plan.

The original goal of this Blood Crown Book is actually completely different from the results we derived.

It’s a method to train special troops.”

”Huh?”

Upon hearing the situation, Gu Xi was left speechless.

The Blood Crown Book was clearly a ritual book for making Orange Armor, and Gu Xi had already succeeded in his experiments.

How did it suddenly turn into a method for training special troops?

The gap here is apparent to even a non-professional.

Gu Xi looked at Eve, bewildered, scrutinizing her for fear something might be amiss.

If anything untoward occurred with this Blood Crown Book, it might not matter much, but if something happened to his Contracted Undead, then it would be a major problem.

But at this moment, Eve earnestly presented some information, handing it to Gu Xi.

Gu Xi had previously researched the Blood Crown Book,

and seeing the information Eve presented, Gu Xi realized that Eve really had removed everything related to the Blood Race from the Blood Crown Book.

However, Gu Xi had done something similar before.

He did not think removing the parts about the Blood Race and Blood Sacrifice would make that much of a difference.

So, while leading his subordinates towards the Garrison Gate,

he began flipping through the information in his hands.

In Gu Xi’s mind, there was surely an issue with this matter.

When he arrived near the Garrison Gate, he could choose a direction for Eve to handle.

However, while browsing through the information, Gu Xi found that something seemed awry.

Previously, many things were hidden under the Vampires and Blood Sacrifices, combined with many hypothetical elements, the situation appeared quite chaotic.

But now it was different.

Gu Xi discovered that once a few parts were removed, the information seemed to transform into something else entirely.

Previous requirements regarding the city and Blood Sacrifices were completely gone, and all energy sources pointed in one direction.

Powerful corpses.

What is this?

Gu Xi’s steps involuntarily came to a halt.

He turned to look at Eve.

At this time, Eve also nodded to Gu Xi.

”My lord, you have also noticed.”

”Yes, I also researched it before. Though I am not a professional researcher, my intelligence is not low. What is this situation?”

”I don’t know either. It’s just after removing the parts about the Blood Sacrifice and Vampires, these findings appeared.

Previously, the energy provision came from Blood Sacrifice and the city’s energy, so the Blood Dragon Crown’s user would be bound within the city.

However, if the city’s energy is not used, but rather comes from some powerful corpses, then the binding can be directly avoided.

But here lies another issue.

No matter how strong the corpse’s level, it cannot support Orange Quality equipment.

If powerful corpses alone could produce an Orange Armor, enemies beyond Level 30 would have already been killed off long ago.

So I checked into the matter, and I found this.”

Eve pointed to a spot in the materials.

At this, Gu Xi also fell into contemplation.

In the last part of the materials, the main subject had shifted from the crown to the crown’s user.

If not for Eve pointing it out, Gu Xi would have thought that this explained why the Blood Dragon Crown needed to be bound to a city providing energy.

But just this one point made Gu Xi realize there was a problem.

Recalling the situation when obtaining the Blood Dragon Crown parts.

One part was on the Blood Dragon, another on the Soulless Blood Corpse.

This was clearly wrong.

Then, think about how the Blood Flood Dragon Head Crown later ended up on Dietrich’s head, and then dispersed to ten Heroes and Elites.

Even though they did not obtain Orange Armors, part of the Orange Armor effect still landed on them.

This indicates that some of what is recorded in the Blood Crown Book can indeed be distributed to lower-ranking members.

Although this way, Orange Armor becomes Purple Armor, and full gears become deputies, some of the Orange Armory effects were retained.

Based on this, if the Blood Flood Dragon Head Crown didn’t put so much power into Orange Armor back then, would there be more Heroes and Elites receiving Deputy Purple Armor?

A thought flashed through Gu Xi’s mind.
