”Damn it (a plant)!”

Looking at the Red Knights emerging from the Steel City Gate, even the usually calm Amirka couldn’t help but curse.

He had already perceived Gu Xi’s intentions.

The most crucial thing is that these Vampire Cavalry are indeed quite fitting for transforming into Red Knights.

Apart from lacking corresponding weapons and equipment, there’s nothing more for Gu Xi to handle, Double Death transformation takes care of the rest.

And judging from the current Blood Cloud situation, these Vampire Cavalry can still die three to five more times at least.

That’s definitely at a loss.

Amirka glanced back at Gu Xi’s expression, seeing Gu Xi nodded at him, Amirka knew that before this layer of Blood Cloud was exhausted, Gu Xi wouldn’t let these Vampire Cavalry just die out.

He hadn’t finished squeezing the value out of the Vampire Cavalry yet.

With no other choice, Amirka could only turn back with the Cyan Knights to launch another assault.

As for Gu Xi, he turned his gaze to the Screaming Castle in the distance.

Gu Xi felt that there should be more formidable enemies inside the Screaming Castle.

However, until all the Vampire Cavalry were killed and the Blood Cloud was worn away, no new enemies showed up from the Screaming Castle.

Not even the trees above the Screaming Castle moved anymore, everything seemed dead.

But Gu Xi knew well that the Screaming Castle wasn’t that simple.

Setting aside other matters, the Blood Cloud earlier was enough to prove the strength on the Screaming Castle’s side.

When Amirka killed all the Vampire Cavalry and prepared to retreat, Gu Xi pressed his hand forward.

”Amirka, go take a lap around the Screaming Castle.”

Amirka immediately understood Gu Xi’s plan, and without a word, led his troops towards the direction of the Screaming Castle.

This time, Gu Xi intended to have Amirka act as bait to test the reaction from the Screaming Castle.

Meanwhile, Gu Xi was still waiting for updates from Di Mi and needed to assess the gains from the Double Death transformation this time.

Apart from the three thousand nine hundred plus Red Knights brought by this batch of repeatedly dying Vampire Cavalry, Gu Xi and his team had slain over seven thousand Twisted Blood Slaves in this battle.

Through transformation and summoning, they gained a total of fifteen thousand various vampires.

It’s safe to say this batch alone solved the acute shortage of vampires in Yalidu City.

They killed over nine thousand Mad Blood Beasts; since they hadn’t conducted the summoning, only nine thousand Vampire Zombies were transformed.

The situation with these Vampire Zombies is a bit different from vampires; they don’t have many vampire-specific skills and can only replenish life through blood-sucking at most.

But for zombies, this counts as a decent attribute.

As for the Mad Blood Beast corpses, Gu Xi glanced at the Blood Nether Book in his hand. At this moment, summoning them into vampires would be better.

After all, inside Yalidu City, the number of vampires was still lacking.

So, Gu Xi pointed to the Blood Nether Book, and the Soul Summoning Tower behind him lit up, the light of the Soul Summoning Skill quickly enveloped the battlefield.

Meanwhile, Amirka had already reached the vicinity of the Screaming Castle with the Cyan Knights.

At this time, Amirka could already see the specific situation of the Screaming Castle.

This castle was originally a significantly large castle, but after experiencing some chaos, it had been buried by mud, and numerous trees turned the castle into a small hill.

There were several openings dug around the castle.

Moreover, Amirka noticed there was a dried-up moat at the southeast corner of the castle, and a sewer entrance covered in blood filth had been exposed on the ground.

At this sewer entrance, numerous blood-colored Mud Monsters were crawling.

When Amirka arrived with his troops, these Mud Monsters seemed to stir, but showed no intention to leave the moat.

Although Amirka was used to commanding cavalry, he had participated in several siege battles.

One look at the situation, and he understood that the Screaming Castle had been abandoned for years; the previously dispatched Twisted Blood Slaves, Mad Blood Beasts, and Vampire Cavalry were all remnants of the Screaming Castle’s defense forces.

They were able to attack outside the city.

But the blood-colored Mud Monsters inside the moat and possibly some troops inside the castle were all unable to leave the defensive system of the Screaming Castle.

This situation should be seen by Gu Xi, anyway, the cavalry Amirka led were not suitable for attacking such a city, he should focus on his own task.

Getting that bait ready first.

With this thought, Amirka turned and led his troops in another direction. Fortunately, he didn’t immediately return to find Gu Xi; instead, he wandered around near the Screaming Castle a bit more.

As a result, the Screaming Castle had no troops left to dispatch; no matter how Amirka provoked or moved around the Screaming Castle, no more forces came out from the castle.

About an hour later, Amirka found it truly impossible to lure out any more enemies, so he headed back to where Gu Xi was located.

On his way back, he noticed that Gu Xi had already cleaned up the battlefield; the previously slain Mad Blood Beasts had all been successfully summoned, transformed into a batch of the most ordinary vampires standing outside the Steel City Gate.

The bloodstains on the ground had been cleared, and the ground was even a bit lower.

As Amirka neared the Steel City Gate, his eyes suddenly brightened; he saw a batch of about three hundred Cyan Knights standing before the Steel City Gate.

Compared to the Cyan Knights he led, these Cyan Knights clearly had a higher level, with the weakest among them being over Level 15.

Where did these Cyan Knights come from?

It was then that Gu Xi noticed Amirka.

”Amirka, what about the vampire troops?”

”Sir, it’s my fault, I couldn’t lure out the enemies. Don’t worry, I’ll go make another round right now, and I’ll definitely bring the enemies out.”

Seeing the Cyan Knights in front of the Steel City Gate, Amirka knew what Gu Xi intended to do.

These Cyan Knights were precious, and it’s the best time to replenish the Cyan Knights’ forces, no mistakes could be afforded now.

”Wait, Amirka, these were transformed after a group of Death Knights were killed earlier. You did well this time, so take them all.”

Oh, and because they were transformed through Double Death, their weapons and training are incomplete. You’ll have to handle that yourself.”
