A month later, Gu Xi, who had been studying and researching in Yalidu City for a long time, finally completed the transformation of most of the Level 15 and above corpses he had.

Now, the only untransformed corpses left are a few Level 18 and 19 bodies, and Dietrich’s body hasn’t been dealt with yet.

These corpses weren’t deliberately left by Gu Xi.

Rather, when he was handling the Level 17 bodies, he discovered that his level in Undead Transformation was still somewhat lacking.

The success rate of transforming Level 17 corpses into Level 17 Undead was only about thirty percent. The remaining ones mostly had a decrease in level: ten percent decreased by 1 Level, another ten percent decreased by 2 Levels, and the rest all failed in transformation, becoming Level 8 ordinary Undead.

This made Gu Xi realize that his limit for Undead Transformation was indeed Level 17.

Handling these high-Level corpses now would still be a waste.

So at this moment, Gu Xi stopped his current task and refrained from doing more Undead transformations.

Of course, there’s another reason, which is that Gu Xi has been away from Bailian City for too long now, and he needs to return there once.

Not to mention others, but his connections are still with Chaoyang Radiance Guild for now.

Chaoyang Radiance Guild gave Gu Xi help and growth opportunities when he was weakest, and Gu Xi couldn’t just leave like this.

Gu Xi must go back to check, whether he continues tasks in Chaoyang Radiance Guild, or jumps out from Bailian City, it must involve communicating with people from Chaoyang Radiance Guild.

Gu Xi has already thought about it, if the Chaoyang Radiance Guild doesn’t release him, then he will serve there for three years.

Considering Yalidu City’s current situation, three years will be enough time for him to rise to Level 20.

By then, there will definitely be a spot for him in the work of Creation, and even if Chaoyang Radiance Guild wants to drag him, they won’t be able to do it for too long.

After setting aside the matters on hand, Gu Xi rose from his position by Evil Wood Lake.

At this time, Evil Wood Lake had already been moved to the new Magic Plant District.

The entire Magic Plant District was arranged according to Luna’s planning, with all the buildings demolished, leaving only various soils suitable for planting trees, crops, and herbs.

The Magic Plant District’s current layout is centered around Evil Wood Lake, expanding outward into eleven zones and one duchy.

The duchy refers to the Lettuce Duchy, specifically responsible for the management of plants in the Magic Plant District.

Among the eleven zones are the Red Maple District and Grass Returning Pill District, which are defined but not yet built as Fruit Garden District.

The farming areas include Spirit Field District, Herb Area, Poison Area, and Spice Area.

Near the water is the Aquatic Plants Area, responsible for cultivating new seeds is the Experimental Area, and a combined planting and breeding Breeding Area, with Gu Xi’s current location being the Compost Area.

This area is located next to the Evil Wood District, where the most intense Yin Qi of the entire Magic Plant District resides, and typically Bone-devouring Mud cleans unwanted garbage here, leaving the best fertilizers.

Additionally, due to these fertilizers, the Yin Qi here grows heavier, naturally leading Gu Xi to regard this place as an ideal spot for Undead Transformation.

When Gu Xi stood up, a large number of Undead swiftly emerged nearby, quickly sorting through what Gu Xi had left behind.

As for those Level 18 and above corpses, they all sank into Evil Wood Lake.

With subordinates like Undead handling tasks, Gu Xi didn’t bother tidying the battlefield, instead releasing the Holy Silver Evil Coffin and entering Evil Wood Lake.

Because the seven eras of Yalidu City were all connected together, all the rivers ultimately converged at one place.

That location was carved out, situated independently between the seven eras of Yalidu City, called the Pier District. The entire Pier District consists of seven wharves connecting the various areas of Yalidu City, along with many islands with buildings and some underwater structures.

Gu Xi’s specialty wharves and the Wharf Warehouse buildings in the Pier District were moved here.

The Wharf Market was relocated near the wharf adjacent to the Market District.

When Gu Xi’s subordinates conduct resource transportation, all they need to do is transport things from one wharf to another, without ever leaving this Pier District.

It’s arguably the largest and fastest mode of transportation within Yalidu City.

Gu Xi happened to be by Evil Wood Lake right now, naturally making waterway travel faster.

Thus, he jumped onto the Holy Silver Evil Coffin, letting it proceed automatically.

Meanwhile, Gu Xi grabbed some conveniently portable food he had with him and began chewing.

This was some convenient food prepared by the kitchen.

The food itself wasn’t great; it was merely there to fill his stomach.

During this period, Gu Xi was busy transforming Undead, rarely eating properly, relying on this as a bit of sustenance.

Over time, he became accustomed to this stuff.

Now, finding himself idle, Gu Xi naturally ate a bit more.

As he ate, the Holy Silver Evil Coffin swiftly traveled along the river channel.

At this moment, Gu Xi could see the Sea Horse Cavalry and Mermaids patrolling in the river.

Because the scope of Yalidu City expanded, their patrol range increased significantly as well.

They move back and forth along various river channels thrice daily, reaching the furthest point at Evil Wood Lake in the Magic Plant District.

Gu Xi always saw them while transforming Undead near Evil Wood Lake.

A mermaid with purple-scaled cap especially caught Gu Xi’s attention.

Seeing them this time, Gu Xi didn’t spot that mermaid.

This made Gu Xi slightly surprised.

”Hey, where’s that mermaid with the purple-scaled cap? Why isn’t she showing up?”

Hearing Gu Xi asking them from atop the Holy Silver Evil Coffin, a member of the Sea Horse Cavalry promptly swam over.

”Sir, that mermaid was reassigned to another patrol line.”

”Why?”

Gu Xi was somewhat curious about why there was forced patrolling.

”I don’t really know. Apparently, she said she was targeted by a lustful Fairy Dragon.

The Fairy Dragon somehow knew she has the best voice.

Every day, she’s asked to read little green texts, reading things like... um... oh... among other interjections, not sure what for.

For quite a long time, her skin’s scales almost dried out due to lack of water.

She really wants to switch back, but that Fairy Dragon has money, and our Boss is willing to hold her up, so with such things happening, we can do nothing.”

Gu Xi thought about it, is it the Fairy Dragon from Witch’s House?

Seems like Witch’s House was moved to Market District, so how could this Fairy Dragon manage to pull such stunts?

Wait, she’s paying.

Well, that’s unacceptable. Apparently, that Fairy Dragon isn’t good. I’ll need to deal with her later.
