Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 944: Chapter 942: The Vampire Knights Killed Over and Over

Hearing Gu Xi’s words, Amirka couldn’t say anything, he could only sigh to himself that his luck was bad.

When he chose the Red Knights, there wasn’t a single source of troops for them.

Now that he’d switched to the Cyan Knights, the Red Knights’ troop source started pouring out endlessly.

Wasn’t this out to kill him?

But there was nothing he could do; after all, he had promised Gu Xi before that after switching this time, he wouldn’t change his subordinate troops again.

No matter how things looked now, he could only accept it.

Cyan Knights it was, at least there were quite a lot of them.

”Stop sighing, your timing’s perfect. Those Vampire Cavalry are yours to deal with, take the White Robed Iron Cavalry with you. As for the other Knights, you already promised before—now I can’t assign them to you.”

Hearing Gu Xi’s words, Amirka didn’t say anything more.

He knew very well what kind of person Gu Xi was.

Once Gu Xi fixed a certain impression of something, it took a lot more effort to wash away that ingrained view.

Just like Di Mi—at the start she was sent to attack Yalidu City, and because she failed to take it, plus earlier she’d relied on her Leader potential to keep demanding this and that from Gu Xi.

She ended up annoying Gu Xi and was exiled to Yellow Springs Road to complete missions there.

Only after Di Mi proved herself again did Gu Xi reassign the crucial task of taking Yalidu City back to her.

Amirka was facing the same kind of situation now.

His last-minute Knight switch had been noted down by Gu Xi.

Before he could prove his strength again, Amirka could only keep using the Cyan Knights, at most bringing some other ordinary Cavalry along in normal battles.

Luckily the number of Cyan Knights wasn’t small; at Amirka’s shout, over a thousand Cyan Knights quickly gathered behind him.

Among these Cyan Knights, the White Robed Iron Cavalry originally controlled by Gu Xi also swiftly joined in, one arc of rainbow light after another falling from them onto the Cyan Knights.

At this moment, the Vampire Cavalry had already charged to within just over six hundred meters of Gu Xi.

At this distance, even the Zombies in front could see the colors of the masks on those Vampire Cavalry’s faces.

Right then, Amirka also raised the weapon in his hand.

Ever since he’d switched to a new batch of Knights, Amirka’s weapons and equipment had all been replaced as well.

The previously blood-red Armor had turned deep blue, and the weapon that had been like a Large Scythe had turned into a Long Spear.

Raising the Long Spear in his hand, Amirka pointed straight toward the Vampire Cavalry.

”Nether Blue Knight Order, Charge with me!”

The Cyan Knights, hearing this, immediately rushed out.

These Cyan Knights were a Ghost-style Knight Corps, and their movement speed counted as one of the fastest among all Knights.

And because they were a kind of Ghost, they could crowd together to fight, unlike Zombies and Skeletons, who would bump into each other and find it hard to even swing their arms.

Precisely because of this, when the Cyan Knights charged out, their formation looked smaller in impact range than that of the Vampire Cavalry.

When the Long Spears in their hands thrust out, it was basically four to five Cyan Knights attacking the same target together.

The Cyan Knights’ strength was originally on par with the Vampire Cavalry, but the Vampire Cavalry’s Defense Power was low.

The Leather Armor on them wasn’t really meant for Defense at all, it was just for show.

Their greatest feature was actually that after hitting an enemy, they could use Vampire to restore Life.

But the problem now was that the Cyan Knights were going four or five on one.

Under a full-force Attack, with just one clash, the Vampire Knights were instantly killed on the spot.

After slaughtering these Vampire Knights, Amirka even rode his Warhorse in a small circle around the battlefield, his posture clearly saying, how are these guys so weak, there’s absolutely no pressure.

But Gu Xi at this time felt that something was off.

For these Vampire Knights to charge out so openly clearly meant they were confident in smashing through Gu Xi’s troops in one go.

There was no way they’d be wiped out this easily.

There had to be a problem here.

Gu Xi was thinking of immediately using Summoning, to first pull up the corpses of these Vampire Knights.

But he never expected that before he could even start Summoning, a large number of blood-colored rays fell out of the Blood Cloud in the sky, and the Vampire Cavalry who had just been killed by the Cyan Knights actually stood up again.

”You can play it like this?”

Gu Xi was directly speechless.

Was this a Vampire ability?

Giving him a live performance of on-the-spot resurrection?

Seeing this, Amirka immediately wheeled around and charged back, the Cyan Knights’ agility being extremely high; with a single turn, they launched another Charge straight at the Vampire Cavalry.

Under this wave of Charge, the Vampire Cavalry were stabbed to death again on the spot.

After all, their numbers were relatively small, only a bit over three hundred; most importantly, among the Cyan Knights there were also more than three hundred White Robed Iron Cavalry.

With them present, the Vampire Cavalry’s luck was as bad as it could get. Even if they could revive, it was useless; they couldn’t organize any Combat Power, and they’d still die all the same.

So under this round of Charge and Kill, the Vampire Cavalry were once again wiped out.

However, the Blood Cloud in the sky didn’t give up, another wave of blood light fell.

At this moment, Gu Xi instead came to a realization.

The key to fighting these Vampire Cavalry wasn’t actually the Cavalry themselves, but the Blood Cloud in the sky.

As long as the Blood Cloud remained, these Vampire Cavalry would keep reviving.

Until the Blood Cloud was completely consumed, or Gu Xi’s own troops were all killed.

This was actually a great thing.

The number of Vampire Knights wasn’t that high; even if they revived, they couldn’t withstand many hits, and a casual backhand strike would kill them.

But once Vampires died, that was true Death.

The pop-up hand information in front of Gu Xi could prove that.

This meant Gu Xi’s Double Death could take effect here.

Each wave was over three hundred Knights; even if they were Vampire Knights, they still counted as Knights.

This was really a huge profit.

Although he hadn’t yet figured out what exactly had come out in Yalidu City, Gu Xi still immediately gave Amirka an order.

”Amirka, ignore them. Let them revive, keep burning out that Blood Cloud.”

Amirka didn’t understand what Gu Xi was thinking, but he was still willing to carry out Gu Xi’s order.

So Amirka led the Cyan Knights to Charge at the Vampire Knights once again.

With each Charge and Kill, the Cyan Knights gained corresponding Experience, and after only a few rounds, their Level had gone up by at least 1.

Just when Amirka was feeling pleased, his smile suddenly froze.

Because from the Steel City Gate walked out a batch of Red Knights without weapons in their hands, and their number was close to three thousand.
