Looking at the formal contract in hand and glancing at the seal of the City Lord’s Mansion in Bailian City, Gu Xi smiled.

Having a standard contract is enough.

This can be done.

At this time, Liu Yingguang also took out a map.

The map showed the surrounding conditions of the Dark Swamp.

Near the Dark Swamp, many points were marked.

Now most of them had a cross marked, indicating that their original positions were already assigned.

Liu Yingguang’s finger followed the map southwards and stopped at a point.

”Mr. Gu, look, it’s here.”

Gu Xi followed Liu Yingguang’s indication and saw that it was really a point very far away.

His finger landed at the edge of the map.

And a little past that point, there was a place marked with a symbol like a dead tree, the Rotten Forest.

”The Rotten Forest and the Dark Swamp, along with the Burial Grounds, are the three points Steel Ghost Claw Guild initially occupied to enter this world from the newbie cities.

When we first came in, we checked; only the Dark Swamp was still under control, while the Rotten Forest and Burial Grounds were influenced by the Fusion Association.

There’s also a passage there to other worlds.

The Burial Grounds have been assigned to the Corpse Bone Fish Dragon Guild for handling.

Initially, the City Lord’s Mansion planned for Ghost World and Zombie Dynasty people to handle the Rotten Forest.

These are predetermined, no need for your involvement.

But apart from these two places, there are several rather large passages in this world, and this time your target is the large passage closer to the Rotten Forest.

Screaming Castle.

The map in my hand reaches only this far, you follow the map to the end, then head south for a while, and you’ll see the Screaming Castle.

By then, you can contact the Rotten Forest for some supplies.

Of course, if you manage to clear the road along the way, you can send a message, and I will arrange supplies for you.”

Liu Yingguang explained the target situation.

Gu Xi understood right away, Liu Yingguang was intending to grab someone else’s territory.

But that didn’t concern Gu Xi, his role was to complete the task at hand.

As for the matters behind the task, he didn’t care.

”Don’t underestimate the passage at Screaming Castle, apart from the three newbie cities, it’s the largest external passage.

If you occupy this place, once the Fusion Association’s matters are resolved, you’ll be able to traverse freely between worlds.”

Gu Xi thought, isn’t this just taking advantage of the Steel Ghost Claw Guild?

I like it.

Thinking of his relationship with the Steel Ghost Claw Guild, Gu Xi suddenly felt more energetic.

After this, Liu Yingguang didn’t delay Gu Xi much, instead, he handed Gu Xi some previously prepared items.

The most critical among them was a stone about the size of a fist.

[Source Energy Core Design Map (Special): Use 1500 resources, 20 units of stone, and 20 units of wood to construct a Source Energy Core (Special Building) outside the city. After building the core, a temporary camp can be constructed nearby, which can be turned into a formal Assembly Hall (village level, not upgradeable) through tasks.]

This thing was much like the Source Well Gu Xi got before, but noticeably of higher quality.

With this, Gu Xi could ensure the legality of his constructed village in this world.

It could ensure the village has sufficient energy supply.

Without it, the situation would be different, no matter how many architectural design plans or resources Gu Xi had, they wouldn’t be of use.

In addition to this, Gu Xi received ten core building design plans, a set of level 1 to 6 unit building design plans, and most small to medium building design plans.

These were all in the undead direction. As for unit types and various building attributes, that depended on luck.

Based on Gu Xi’s experience, the purpose of these building design plans was to ensure that Gu Xi’s village could have enough defense power in a short amount of time, ensuring Gu Xi could control the required positions immediately.

As for developing the village, that would require additional investment.

The present architectural design plans seemed insufficient.

Gu Xi needed to invest more into it.

Of course, if Gu Xi just wanted a village, the present architectural plans would suffice.

Besides the architectural design plans, there was also 70% of the materials required by the architectural design plans, and Liu Yingguang also gave Gu Xi two undead corps of five hundred each.

These five hundred undead weren’t combat troops.

They were construction units, to help build the village.

This was also prepared by Liu Yingguang for the players who quickly completed tasks.

After all, not all players have a city to call their own like Gu Xi did at Level 1.

Many Undead Mages even at Level 10 didn’t have their own territory.

Without even a land title, how could they sustain undead built for construction?

So Liu Yingguang and the others must have also arranged these things while assigning tasks.

Gu Xi did gain some benefits, getting these materials and subordinates for free.

When delivering the items to Gu Xi, Liu Yingguang also held Gu Xi’s hand and said, ”Mr. Gu, I’m sorry, I only have these materials on hand, and there are other players coming, I can’t allocate more resources to you.

But rest assured, once new supplies arrive, I will send some to you.”

”No problem, these are enough for me to use for some time. When I’ve set up the village and cleared the roads, I’ll come find you for more.”

”Alright, I’ll be waiting for you to come.” Liu Yingguang laughed heartily.

While they were speaking jovially, Gu Xi had already ordered his men to deliver most of the materials into Yalidu City.

Simultaneously, adjustments were made to Gu Xi’s subordinate troops.

The Bone Dragons were all kept.

The slower Bone-devouring Muds were recalled.

Meanwhile, Corpse Poison Fly and a new kind of insect swarm were released.

The Corpse Poison Fly was fine, not many in number, the new insect swarm was different.

They were smaller than Bone Locusts, noticeably more numerous, forming a dense cloud in the air, like a dark cloud.

[Bloodthirsty Mosquito (Level 1): Attack 1, Defense 1, Life 1, Skills: Insect Swarm State, Vampire Rebirth, Flying Team.]

It was apparent that the situation of these mosquitoes resembled Vampires, with Vampire Rebirth like status, directly compensating these Bloodthirsty Mosquito’s weaknesses, allowing them to persist longer in battles.
