”Sir, just stand here.”

Gu Xi was led to the guillotine by Eldest Princess Anna. At this moment, a zombie dressed as a king was lying under the blade of the guillotine.

When he saw Gu Xi approaching, he lifted his head and gave Gu Xi a smile.

”Here? Shouldn’t we change the place, who is this?”

”Charlie, the Emperor of Britain who died under the guillotine, and the only British Emperor who played himself to death. However, many people call him the Guillotine King.”

Gu Xi glanced at the zombie’s face, feeling more and more familiar.

”Do you feel his head looks a lot like that of the Spore Cultist?”

Eldest Princess Anna was with Gu Xi when they entered the Westminster Cathedral Event dungeon.

When Gu Xi mentioned it, she also realized.

”It does look somewhat alike, but they probably don’t have any relation.”

Gu Xi just felt they looked similar and didn’t think much of it.

The following tasks weren’t actually difficult.

Gu Xi stood before the guillotine, raised the Illusion Magic Wand towards the Guillotine King.

The crows originally standing on the guillotine all flew up now.

They kept circling Gu Xi, and with each lap, the number of crows increased.

Meanwhile, Gu Xi’s mana began to be swiftly drained, and layers upon layers of dark clouds appeared in the sky.

A large amount of Yin Qi surged from the ground, within which was a confusing anomalous Qi.

This anomalous Qi was the real style of the Mirror Image Underground Palace.

Yet at this moment, Luna, who had just completed the activation of the last Yalidov City, appeared nearby through the mirror.

She nodded to Gu Xi before saying, ”Sir, please support me a little longer, I need half an hour more.”

Gu Xi glanced at the rate of mana consumption and nodded seriously.

Half an hour wasn’t difficult for him; as long as the mana drained at this rate, he could support for another hour.

Seeing Gu Xi agree, Luna swiftly departed.

This time, she headed to the Mysterious Mirror Image Space.

The Mysterious Mirror Image Space is Luna’s domain, and besides Luna, no one else can control the situation there.

The activation of Yalidu City also requires Luna to handle personally. These two tasks couldn’t be managed by anyone else, so even if time was tight, Luna couldn’t seek help.

Fortunately, things went smoothly afterward.

As Luna returned to the Mysterious Mirror Image Space, the anomalous Qi drawn out by Gu Xi seemed to find a direction and flocked into the Mysterious Mirror Image Space.

One could say that Gu Xi was lucky that Luna mastered this Mysterious Mirror Image Space.

Yalidu City happened to be in the Mirror Image Underground Palace.

Having been a mirror image mistaken for Victoria City for so many years, along with the Great Monarch’s mysterious ability, the anomalous Qi surged out earlier, even if not in style of the mirror image, was somewhat related to it.

Now they were all absorbed by the Mysterious Mirror Image Space, becoming part of it, expanding its influence.

Once this anomalous Qi was withdrawn, what remained was the original aura of Yalidu City.

Originally, Yalidu City was merely a desolate empty city, not a Death City.

Back then, Gu Xi used Luna’s presence to consider Yalidu City as a Death City.

With the emergence of Yalidu City’s original aura, Gu Xi began his operation.

Death City activated!

Undead aura started permeating all of Yalidu City.

Meanwhile, all the undead in Yalidu City raised their heads, and even the piled-up corpses that hadn’t undergone Summoning emitted the Aura of Death.

These death auras quickly stained all of Yalidu City with the color of death.

It was at this moment Gu Xi realized why Eldest Princess Anna waited for him specifically.

Turned out Death City had such a transformative effect.

Closing his eyes, Gu Xi felt as though he was observing from above the seven stages of Yalidu City across different times.

Each stage of Yalidu City had its own style, yet shared obvious similarities.

At the same time, Gu Xi could clearly sense that although all stages of Yalidu City were on the same plane, they overlapped without merging.

This feeling reminded Gu Xi of what Dietrich previously mentioned.

The Great Monarch’s Throne is equivalent to the total size of the seven stages of Yalidu.

At the time, Gu Xi thought Yalidu could occupy one percent of the Mirror Image Underground Palace’s space.

Looking back now, he realized he had overestimated it.

The area he occupied within the Mirror Image Underground Palace was even smaller.

Before Gu Xi could see everything clearly, the vision disappeared.

Simultaneously, Gu Xi realized that the seven stages of Yalidu City had fused together, and the current Yalidu City was its complete form.

At this moment, he naturally heard a ’ding’ sound by his ear.

[Death City successfully used, Yalidu City fully transformed into Death City, Death City’s Level increased to Level 8, ...]

[City Name: Yalidov (City Cluster)

City Direction: Death City

City Traits: Primitive City, Conjoint City, Traditional City (Undead)

City Level: Level 8 (93/1000)

City Core: Yaliduvi Tower, Yalidu City (seven periods) ...]

With all kinds of information popping up, Gu Xi almost got dazzled.

Fortunately, at this moment, Gu Xi’s subordinates were still there, they had already arranged various tasks right from the start, waiting for Yalidu City to unify so they could initiate actions.

These tasks didn’t require Gu Xi’s personal intervention, his undead subordinates could handle them directly.

This way, Gu Xi has enough time to examine the current situation in Yalidu City.

Gu Xi then realized that during this period, besides Di Mi fighting across different periods of Yalidu City, others were busy with their own tasks.

Luna was arguably the busiest, responsible for city relocation.

Also, the task of occupying Yalidu City.

One could say during this time, Yalidu City didn’t have any significant new buildings, a few buildings upgraded but in very small numbers.

What truly raised the level of Death City was the Experience gained from occupying the territories after securing each period of Yalidu City.

These Experiences cumulatively just contributed to Yalidu City’s level increase.

Currently, Gu Xi’s Death City Level has reached Level 8, meaning besides City Gates and Soul Summoning Towers, Gu Xi can now deploy City Wall, Moat, and Arrow Tower on the battlefield.

It’s fair to say Gu Xi’s battlefield capabilities have further enhanced.

Next upgrade would be when reaching Level 12, then he could project Yaliduvi Tower or a Sleeping Beauty Castle type of structure into the outside world.
