Retreat, we have to retreat!

That Black Player who had made it to Level 20, the moment he saw the Hellhounds charging over, this thought flashed through his Heart first.

After all, to him, staying alive was always better than getting killed for no reason.

But this Black Player had already become fully game-avatar-ized as well.

Though he was thinking about retreating, his own movements showed no intention of retreating at all; instead he rushed straight toward the Hellhounds, clearly wanting to kill them.

The Hellhounds had really never encountered something this hard-headed before.

But their reaction was fast as well; when the Black Player rushed over, they pounced on him, all those dog heads snapping at the vital points of his body.

In his own dedicated game, this Black Player had only just reached Level 20, and after leaving the game his Level and strength were continuously dropping.

Right now his performance wasn’t even as good as the Ordinary Soldiers under Gu Xi.

With so many Hellhounds biting him from top and bottom, his body was torn open on the spot.

One Hellhound even bit out his internal organs, dragging his heart as it ran off.

The Black Player still wanted to snatch that heart back, but just as he reached out, his hand was bitten off by another Hellhound, which then dragged the hand off in another direction.

The Black Player wanted to go and get his hand back again, but before he could get up, several pouncing Hellhounds pressed him down, and the flesh on his body was torn into pieces.

As this Black Player was torn to Death by the Hellhounds, the gap before their eyes clearly grew much larger, and a flood of even more chaotic energy began pouring into the passage.

The Hellhounds were no fools like the Black Player; once they saw the situation was hopeless, they immediately darted out through the gap.

Right at this time, the president of the Black Guild had also almost been finished off by the Hellhounds.

The Hellhounds that burst out from the breach appeared and delivered the final blow to the Black Guild president.

A Hellhound above Level 25 bit down on the Black Guild president’s head in one chomp, then gave a fierce shake outward, tearing off his head together with his spine.

When the Black Guild president was killed, Gu Xi had actually already sensed that this abandoned game space in front of him was collapsing.

Seeing the situation before him, Gu Xi decisively ordered, ”Ghost Squad, make those Vengeful Spirits move faster. If they keep dragging this out, they can just go Die along with this broken space.

The rest of you go grab everything—everything you can see here, bring it all back for me.”

Under Gu Xi’s orders, the White Impermanence of the Ghost Squad moved quickly. If earlier they had only been responsible for guiding, now they were like driving chickens, herding the Vengeful Spirits into the Gate of the Underworld.

At the same time, Gu Xi also released several other City Gates.

A massive number of Undead charged out from the City Gates.

When the Ghost Squad couldn’t make a move, these not-so-High Level Undead were the manpower Gu Xi used to clean up the battlefield.

Fortunately, Gu Xi had already unified Yalidov City.

Now mobilizing manpower was much more convenient than before.

This was exactly why, even seeing the high possibility of this abandoned game space being destroyed, Gu Xi still dared to release his subordinates.

Right now he was racing against time.

This time Gu Xi really was gambling with his own subordinates.

After Gu Xi released several City Gates, a large wave of Undead surged into this space.

With them making a move, those unfinished buildings collapsed at a rate of one per second.

A huge number of corpses buried under the unfinished buildings were dug out and sent into Yalidov City together with the construction materials.

At the same time, the corpses of those Black Guild Players were also sent back to Yalidov City.

Especially the more than three hundred Death Knights, who had died under the Impact of the White Robed Iron Cavalry.

But that wasn’t their fault.

Who told Gu Xi to be that shameless, even mixing Hellhounds into the White Robed Iron Cavalry’s ranks.

With nearly a hundred High Level Hellhounds, no matter how strong the Death Knights were, it was useless; they just turned their heads and became corpses.

These corpses were truly good stuff to Gu Xi.

Not to mention their Level, just the weapons and equipment on their bodies, plus their matching Warhorses, made them very suitable to be sent to various Divine Halls and converted into substitute Death Knights.

This was a good thing for Gu Xi.

Although he wasn’t sure what type of Knights these Death Knight corpses could be converted into, the Level they’d end up with definitely wouldn’t be calculated based on the standard production Levels of those Knights.

In the end, their Level would surely be adjusted based on the Level these Death Knights had when alive.

By then, there would definitely be a batch of powerful Knight Corps.

It was just that, for now, it still wasn’t very clear what these Death Knight corpses were suitable to be converted into.

If they didn’t end up as Cyan Knights, Amirka would probably cry.

After all, with so many Knights, and at such high Levels, if Amirka didn’t get greedy, he wouldn’t deserve to be a Commander on the Death Knight path.

While his subordinates were out grabbing things, Gu Xi himself didn’t run around; he stayed there, watching for changes in this space.

Gu Xi could already clearly feel that this space was about to be destroyed.

He couldn’t wait until the space had a problem before retreating.

If he did that, something was definitely going to go wrong.

Gu Xi’s estimated timing was to begin pulling back when about one-third of this space in front of him was destroyed.

When roughly half of it was destroyed, Gu Xi could completely withdraw from the field; only in this way would he avoid being completely trapped here.

Before that, Gu Xi needed to find a way out.

Otherwise, when the time came and he couldn’t find the exit, that would be really awkward.

After releasing the City Gates, Gu Xi stood atop the Soul Summoning Tower and surveyed the surroundings, finally locking his gaze on one spot.

That was the spot where Gu Xi had ridden a carriage in earlier.

It was just that when Gu Xi and the others came in, the passage there had already been sealed by a special kind of Power.

Now, because of the impact of the Chaos Energy, the sealed path had reappeared.

As long as nothing went wrong next, no one could stop Gu Xi from leaving.

Noticing this, Gu Xi waved his hand.

”Open that path up for me, send people over to guard it. Move faster—the gap at the center of this space is getting bigger and bigger. If we don’t hurry, we won’t get anything.”

Hearing Gu Xi’s order, the Undead under him sped up even more.

Some Ghost Squad members who were already idle also began joining the battlefield cleanup teams.

With their joining in, when this space had been affected by Chaos Energy by about one-third, Gu Xi finally managed to move more than eighty percent of the corpses and supplies out of the space.

As for the remaining ones, Gu Xi had no intention of gambling again.

For Gu Xi, safety always came first.
