His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 2292: Chapter 662: A Year Later (39) So Sinister, Far Too Sinister_5

She came back just to divorce him?

Can’t there be something else?

There will be!

There must be something else!

After a long time, Mu Yichen finally had a peaceful meal at the Mu Family’s house, and for the first time, Feng Fanghua stubbornly held back tears, not asking him to stay the night.

After dinner, Feng Fanghua returned to her room early, unwilling to see her son leave.

Mu Yichen stayed in the living room playing chess with the old man, who lost one game and was careless about the next: ”Mumu’s going to Paris this time, is it really for work?”

”If not, would she be able to go?”

Mu Yichen retorted.

The old man nodded: ”That child, she just lacked a sense of security growing up, her parents..., Yichen, stop playing mind games with her. Have a serious talk with her, let her know you don’t want a divorce, okay?”

Mu Yichen...

So, after all this time, everyone thought he wasn’t being serious? They all thought he hadn’t had a proper talk with Qin Mu?

It’s just that girl, no, that woman, the more serious he was, the less she took it seriously.

Mu Yichen received a WeChat message from Mu Qingxin late at night, saying they had arrived safely in Paris but hadn’t gone to Qin Mu’s home, instead staying at a hotel.

——

The next day, Qin Mu’s assistant went to the hotel to find them and took Qin Mu to work, but before leaving, Mu Qingxin, who had just finished her bath, stopped them.

”Sister-in-law, is this your handsome assistant!”

Mu Qingxin came out of the bathroom in her pajamas, intentionally calling her sister-in-law in a good-natured way, then gazing dreamily at her assistant.

Qin Mu saw her expression and knew what she was thinking. She introduced them and then instructed Mu Qingxin, ”Well, you said you came to help me with the kids, so today I’ll leave them to you.”

”Why don’t you tell me the shooting location, I’ll take them for breakfast and a walk, and maybe drop by to see you later.”

Mu Qingxin suggested again, seeing Qin Mu just staring at her without speaking, started feeling uneasy and quickly glanced at Qin Mu’s assistant. Qin Mu’s assistant smiled, then wrote down the address for her before leaving with Qin Mu.

They were shooting by the lake. In Paris time, at 10 a.m., Mu Qingxin took the three little ones to the lakeside, where there happened to be a café with some seats near the lake. She took the kids over, ordered a coffee, and got some snacks and drinks for the little ones. The three youngsters were more interested than her, gazing at the model posing with a piece of black silk by the lake—Qin Mu.

Mu Qingxin let her gaze linger on Qin Mu for a while before looking around till she spotted the impeccably suited handsome assistant, who was focused on Qin Mu.

Mu Qingxin’s eyes slightly moved, then she quietly whispered to the three small children, ”How about I take a photo to show Mu Yi? Let him see that handsome guy and realize there are plenty of handsome guys in the world, to make him worry a bit about that woman!”

”Auntie, is that woman my mom?”

Chengcheng held his warm milk, looking at his aunt unsure if she would mess up his mom and dad’s marriage.

”If it’s not your mom, who else could it be?”

Mu Qingxin whispered teasingly to him.

Huanhuan and Zifeng laughed behind their hands and, in no time, whispered to each other, then dashed towards the lake.

Mu Qingxin worried they might fall, but upon seeing Qin Mu’s assistant looking after the siblings as they approached, she relaxed. She turned her head to see the little one contently drinking milk, the white foam adorning his cute little mouth, prompting her to chuckle and ask, ”Why don’t you go?”

”Mom doesn’t like that uncle!”

Chengcheng softly replied, then returned his focus to his milk, noticing his sister’s full cup...

Mu Qingxin watched as Chengcheng poured half of his sister’s milk into his cup and felt a pang of guilt for not letting them eat much before rushing here, no wonder Chengcheng enjoyed milk so much.

Mu Qingxin picked up her phone, sneaking a shot of that handsome assistant and then wickedly taking a few alluring photos of Qin Mu.

After the New Year, Paris wasn’t very cold, but a woman in a gown shooting an ad was still a refreshing sight.
