His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 2278: Chapter 660: One Year Later (37)

”Mu Yichen! Ah!”

Her body suddenly leaned forward, going vertically past his waist, her legs firmly pressing against his waist.

Mu Yichen’s hand instinctively wrapped around her waist, to prevent her from getting hurt, while noticing her face red with embarrassment and anger.

Qin Mu only managed to open her eyes with difficulty and see the man in front of her. When she saw his dark eyes, she could also feel her heart pounding with force, madly as if it was about to leap out of her throat.

”You’re not going away, so why play these little tricks with me?”

He spoke softly, his eyes filled with endless adoration.

Qin Mu felt as if a little deer was rampaging inside her chest, pounding violently, ready to burst out from her heart. Once she snapped back to reality, she genuinely wanted to slap herself hard, no, no, she should slap him. Who was playing tricks with him? Did he think she fell down like this on purpose as a trick? Did he think she didn’t truly want to discuss divorce with him?

This man...

”Stop comforting yourself in this way every time, it’s not that you’re letting me go, it’s that I’m letting you go!”

Qin Mu’s voice carried stubbornness, yet wasn’t cold; rather, it had a touch of an obstinate little girl’s unique charm.

Mu Yichen chuckled lightly: ”You’re letting me go? If you let me go, are you not giving?”

Qin Mu...

Indeed, Mr. Mu excels at forcing things.

Spoken so casually, hmph!

”Of course you can give, but, do you truly not care whether my heart accepts it?”

Qin Mu no longer looked into his dark eyes but instead looked at his chest, her voice soft and slow.

”Since I’m giving, I naturally know you will accept.”

Mu Yichen removed his arm from her waist, his sensual lips lightly parted between her nose and lips, his warm breath making Qin Mu feel uncomfortable. He enjoyed rubbing his lips gently against hers.

Such ambiguity, Qin Mu lowered her eyes, almost struggling to breathe, unable to push him away.

Are they going to do it again?

A big question mark flashed in her head; her body wasn’t devoid of desire, but her heart vehemently resisted.

A bit pretentious, right? No, maybe very pretentious actually, but now she indeed hesitated between these two ends.

And Mu Yichen’s dark eyes, were staring straight at her, gently parting her lips.

It seemed as if he had waited for lifetimes just to reach this moment again, with her soft and sweet in his arms, ready for him to savor quietly.

”You called me back, is it really to discuss divorce, or...”

Qin Mu, furious, raised her hand to cover his mouth, unable to withstand it anymore, asking this straight out.

”Or what?”

He seemed cynical, unfathomable, yet infinitely gentle, as if everything was within his control, and she was merely a toy in his hands.

Qin Mu couldn’t stand his expression, this attitude, so she turned during the night: ”Just to satisfy your beastly desires.”

Her voice was so stubborn, each word so defiant, but as soon as she finished speaking, his hand squeezed her waist hard, releasing her legs from his waist, and the next second, Mu Yichen was in front of her, pressing her down.

Qin Mu lifted her eyes, frowning at him: ”Mu Yichen, don’t bully me too much.”

”I’ve been bullying you not just for a day or two but now I want to ask you, if I called you back just to vent, how would you deal with me?”

Mu Yichen still kissed her lightly, from her forehead to the tip of her nose, then to her lips, teasing gently, and then warmly, either near or far from her.

Qin Mu’s heart cried; how was she supposed to deal with him?

”I can’t beat you either, what else can I do to you? I can only slink back to Paris.”

Qin Mu turned her face away, her mouth unwilling to yield, but she didn’t want to look at him, nor did she want to engage in any heated argument with him.

It was best if they could talk nicely, she hoped her rationality could supplant emotions during this time.

Let those damn emotions go eat shit.

”What if I don’t plan to let you leave?”

”That’s your business!”

Qin Mu still didn’t look at him, remaining so cold.

Mu Yichen chuckled, raising his hand to pinch her chin, making her face him.

When Qin Mu looked at him, seeing as if there was some pain, some hatred, some disappointment in his eyes, she thought she must have been mistaken, he was skilled at playing this game, making her feel guilty, then he would be satisfied.
