Chapter 392, Save My Ye Family, I’ll Give You a Reward

When Ye Wuxian was caught by surprise, Lu Fan’s figure, riding the Shadow Dragon King, finally slowly emerged.

At this moment, Lu Fan and the Shadow Dragon King were crouching in the black shadow mist, like assassins in darkness, making others feel their skin tingling for some unknown reason.

Lu Fan had a smile on his face. After instantly killing the Shadow Dragon General, he dismounted and recalled the Shadow Dragon King.

Ye Wuxian was stunned for a moment before reacting. She immediately used Flight to arrive beside Lu Fan and exclaimed. “Junior Brother, how can you be this strong!? That was a Level 95 Diamond Grade Boss, yet you killed it instantly! Moreover, what’s more crucial is that even though you’ve already attacked, you did not emerge from your Concealment, which completely defies logic.”

Seeing the look of admiration on Ye Wuxian’s face, Lu Fan smiled and shook his head: “Shadow Dragon King is the Assassin among the Dragon Race. The power of his Skills are simply too great. Instantly killing a Boss is normal for him. Moreover, his Concealment Skill is truly extraordinary. As long as he wishes, he can remain invisible indefinitely. Be it attacking or being attacked, he would remain Concealed. In fact, only those with Agility Attributes much higher than him can detect his presence to avoid being killed.”

Ye Wuxian instinctively asked: “Then how high is his Agility?”

“Well, for Agility, his Base Attribute is close to 100K. With Xiao Cui’s Buffs, breaking through 500K isn’t a problem.”

“…” Ye Wuxian fell silent, and after a moment, said: “You might as well just directly say that your Pet Dragon is an invincible existence.”

“500K Agility!? How could anyone possibly reach that high? As a Battle Mage, my Agility is already quite high, but my Base Attribute is only around 8K, and with all my Buffs active, it’s only around 13K to 14K. And I’m already Level 96. Yet, my Agility Attribute is only this high. Who do you think could surpass your Pet Dragon in terms of Agility? In fact, I doubt those legendary Fifth Profession Players would not be able to surpass your Shadow Dragon in terms of Attributes.”

“Yeah.” Lu Fan smiled again, his eyes flashing with brilliance, “Looking at it this way, with just the Shadow Dragon King alone, among the mere Huang and Loong Families are nothing. I can kill whoever provokes us!”

When Ye Wuxian thought of the Huang and Loong Families, anger flashed in her eyes, but this anger quickly transformed into a sense of impending excitement. Excitement for revenge.

“You could say that. Huang Yutian from the Huang Family is indeed very strong, but compared to you, he’s far too inferior. Originally when you dared to challenge the Huang and Loong Families for my sake, I actually didn’t have much confidence in you. I even prepared to resolve this matter with my own life and let you leave if we could not win against those two Families.”

At this point, tenderness flashed in Ye Wuxian’s eyes as she looked at Lu Fan: “But now, you’ve given me too many surprises. Since leaving the Ye Family and wandering outside, I’ve never met anyone, any man, who could make me feel like I could rely on them. Lu Fan, thank you. Really. These past few months, I’ve been really, really tired. Exhausted till my bones are weary. But now, with you here, I really don’t need to worry about anything. I don’t need to fear anything……”

Lu Fan’s heart stirred, and he unconsciously reached out his hand to touch Ye Wuxian’s smooth cheek, smiling. “Don’t worry, with me here, no one can bully you anymore!”

“En…” Ye Wuxian’s cheeks reddened, and although shy, she did not avoid Lu Fan’s hand.

Lu Fan did not take advantage of Ye Wuxian. He just smiled and withdrew his hand, saying. “Now I’m ready to go to the Western Border with you.”

“There isn’t much time left before the truce expires, right? When should we head to the Western Border to settle accounts with the Loong and Huang Families?”

After thinking for a moment, Ye Wuxian said. “Day after tomorrow. I’ll go book two tickets to the Western Border. By the time we reach the Ye Family, the truce should have already expired. At that time, the Loong and Huang Families will definitely come to my Ye Family to have me sign over the resources. Whether the Ye Family can survive this crisis depends on that moment.”

“Don’t worry, I will definitely protect you and protect the Ye Family!” Lu Fan confidently said.

His words made Ye Wuxian chuckle.

A blush crossed Ye Wuxian’s face as she said. “If you can really protect me and protect my Family, then you’ll be the Ye Family’s benefactor. At that time, I’ll give you a reward, how about that?”

“Oh? What reward?”

“You’ll know when the time comes.” Ye Wuxian stuck out her tongue, not revealing more.

…

Soon, two days passed.

During these two days, Lu Fan had been riding the Shadow Dragon King, killing Monsters on Shadow Isle, familiarizing himself with the Shadow Dragon King’s combat style and capabilities.

After two days of fighting together, Lu Fan basically understood the Shadow Dragon King and knew how to make him display his true potential.

Additionally, Lu Fan held a small meeting with the girls from Villa No. 2 and Ye Wuxian.

The meeting’s topic was deciding what to name the Shadow Dragon King.

After a brainstorming session and rejecting Tao Xiaoman’s unreliable suggestions like ‘Xiao Hei (Little Black)’ and other… less savory names, they finally settled on naming him Ye Sha (Night Fury).

Such a name was so good, it received unanimous consent.

As for Xiao Ye and Xiao Cui, these two poor Baby Dragons seemed to have accepted the fact that there would no longer be any Younger Siblings with names more ordinary than theirs. Instead of causing chaos like before, they silently smiled and ‘accepted’ everything.

[Well, better late than never I guess. Better get used to it now than later…] Lu Fan scratched his face, a little awkward since he was the one that caused this in the first place.

…

On that day, Lu Fan once again bid farewell to Auntie, Jian Ying and others, and together with Ye Wuxian, boarded a plane heading to the Western Border.

After a full day of flying, the plane finally landed.

However, this airport was still quite far from the Ye Family, and Lu Fan and Ye Wuxian needed to continue flying for some distance.

Lu Fan directly summoned the Divine Bone Clone, and he and Ye Wuxian rode it towards the Ye residence.

The Western Border was full of Wilderness, as far as the eye could see. The whole place seemed undeveloped.

However, this was only superficial. According to Ye Wuxian, the Western Border’s developed areas far exceeded any other place in Dragon Country. Moreover, in terms of abundance in resources, the Western Border ranked among the highest in Dragon Country.

The reason people thought the Western Border was not very developed, and why no cities had been built here, was entirely because those who pioneered the Western Border were all Ancient Noble Families of Dragon Country.

In other words, the Western Border was like a place outside the mundane world, with many Ancient Noble Families hidden here. Naturally, ordinary people could hardly set foot in the vicinity.
