Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 354, One Month Later, I’ll Personally Go to the Western Border

Translator: Silavin

At this moment, there was clearly something wrong with Loong Xing.

His whole body was trembling uncontrollably, his eyes fixated on the Black Dragon in the sky, as if he had seen something terrifyingly powerful and he was on the verge of breakdown.

Ye Wuxian could clearly see that Loong Xing was already using all his strength just to maintain consciousness and avoid fainting.

Because of this, Loong Xing had no leeway left to maintain his Skill, causing all his swords to lose control and scatter into the lake.

Loong Xing’s current state was not unFamiliar to Ye Wuxian. She remembered when Lu Fan first revealed his Black Dragon to the Dragon Capital University students, Xiao Ye had caused all the students to faint.

How similar was that scene to the present?

Without thinking, she knew this must be Xiao Ye’s Skill.

Ye Wuxian looked at Xiao Ye and found that indeed, this Baby Dragon’s head was slightly lowered, with flames spurting from her mouth and nose with each breath.

Xiao Ye’s eyes had turned purple-red, becoming incredibly deep, emanating rolling waves of pressure.

At this moment, Xiao Ye had activated her  Skill, Black Dragon Pressure. Furthermore, she had concentrated all the Skill Effects onto Loong Xing.

With Xiao Cui’s Soul Light Enhancement, Xiao Ye’s Strength Attribute was about to break through 300K, definitely incomparable to Loong Xing.

Faced with such a huge disparity in their Strength Attribute, how could Loong Xing resist the power of Black Dragon Pressure? If not for his Passive Skills that increased his Debuff Resistance, he would have fainted long ago, let alone maintain consciousness as he was doing now.

In Loong Xing’s eyes now, there was only endless darkness.

At the centre of that darkness was the Black Dragon in the sky.

The Black Dragon intently stared at him. Although it made no movement, Loong Xing still felt that if it wanted to, it could effortlessly tear him apart.

The overwhelming fear made his entire body feel like it was cast in iron, completely unable to move. Even when he vaguely saw that Lu Fan had now flown before him, he could not move to counterattack.

Loong Xing’s feelings were not wrong. At this moment, Lu Fan had indeed arrived at the lakeside pavilion, and was standing right in front of him.

If he wanted to, Lu Fan could have ended everything with one strike.

However, Lu Fan did not make such a clean and decisive move.

He lightly snapped his fingers, and Xiao Ye immediately understood what to do. She reduced the Effect of Black Dragon Pressure to let Loong Xing regain some of his consciousness.

When he saw Lu Fan right in front of him, Loong Xing was greatly startled and immediately tried to make a move.

Although knowing that Loong Xing basically had no ability to fight left, Lu Fan was not willing to give him any chance to struggle.

Xiao Ye shared a spiritual connection with Lu Fan. Thus, just as Loong Xing was about to move, she let out a Dragon Roar.

Black Dragon Pressure rolled forth again, heavily pressing down on Loong Xing.

Loong Xing’s vision went black, and his body immediately went soft, falling to his knees before Lu Fan in an extremely humiliating posture.

Then Black Dragon Pressure weakened again, allowing Loong Xing to regain consciousness.

Lu Fan stepped forward and placed his foot on Loong Xing’s head, making his head hit the pavilion floor with a loud *bang*.

The marble floor of the pavilion cracked, and Loong Xing’s head was also bloodied.

As a Fourth Profession Player, his Attributes were not low. This impact would at most injure him but would not be fatal.

However, being helplessly pinned under Lu Fan’s foot would be humiliating for anyone.

Loong Xing truly wanted to kill Lu Fan, but he was being Crowd Controlled by Black Dragon Pressure. In other words, he was completely passive from start to finish, unable to fight back or struggle.

“Now you know whether you can kill me or not.” Lu Fan’s voice came from above Loong Xing’s head.

At the same time, a sword pierced into the marble floor right next to Loong Xing’s face with a *whoosh*. It was Lu Fan’s Flaming Meteor Sword.

If Lu Fan had wanted to, this sword could have ended Loong Xing’s life.

“Tell me now, is it me who can kill you, or you who can slay my Dragons!?” Lu Fan’s voice grew increasingly cold, and Loong Xing could not help but shiver.

“You… you sneak attacked!” Loong Xing came to his senses but remained stubborn, unwilling to admit defeat.

“Heh!” Lu Fan sneered, “A Fourth Profession Player can’t even accept defeat? You’re clearly the weaker party here, yet you accuse me of launching a sneak attack against you? I walked towards you step by step right in front of you and openly pinned you down. What kind of sneak attack is that?”

“You…” Loong Xing was suddenly speechless.

Although he refused to accept defeat in his heart, Lu Fan was right. Lu Fan had declared from the start that he would teach him a lesson today, then released his Pet Dragon and completely had him under Crowd Control.

This could not be called a sneak attack, only complete domination.

After all, even if Loong Xing were to be released from his Crowd Control state right now, Lu Fan could still Crowd Control him again.

Loong Xing knew he had no choice but to accept defeat.

However, he still did not want to verbally say it.

Just as he was about to continue speaking, Lu Fan lifted his foot and brought it down again.

*Boom!* The entire pavilion shook, showing just how heavy Lu Fan’s stomp was.

“You talk too much. From now on, you speak only when I allow you to, understand?”

“I…”

*Boom!* Another stomp came.

Lu Fan stomped his foot down hard twice and then smiled, “I didn’t give you permission to speak, did I?”

Loong Xing wanted to cry. [I was just trying to say I understood, why did you stomp on me again?]

This time, he learned his lesson and remained silent under Lu Fan’s feet.

Lu Fan did not continue stomping, after all, Loong Xing still had his uses. It would not be good to beat him beyond recognition.

Seeing how he had become more obedient, Lu Fan continued in a deep voice. “I’m not killing you today, not because I’m afraid of the Loong Family or the Huang Family, but because I need someone to deliver a message to the Western Border.”

“I roughly understand the grudge between the Ye, Huang, and Loong Families. Do you two Families, Huang and Loong, really think the Ye Family has no one left to rely on!? Go back and tell your Family and the Huang Family that I, Lu Fan, will be protecting the Ye Family!”

“One month from now, when the truce is gone, I will return to the Western Border with Senior Sister to have a good discussion with your two Families about the allocation of all those resources. At that time, I will make the Huang and Loong Families spit out all the Ye Family resources that they’ve swallowed, and pay back double!”
