Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 383, Becoming a Lord!

“Well done, Xiao Ye!” Lu Fan took the Dragon Scale Greatsword and patted Xiao Ye’s head.

Xiao Ye enjoyed his caress, and nuzzled against Lu Fan’s hand, completely showing a proud expression, seeking more praise.

Lu Fan thought for a moment, feeling that the Baby Dragons had indeed contributed significantly on this whole journey. He searched through his Mission Inventory and found some roasted meat to distribute to all the Pet Dragons who had helped.

Xiao Ye and the other Pet Dragons were overjoyed, each hugging their meat and happily chomped away.

At this moment, Lu Fan, holding the Dragon Scale Greatsword, saw his Mission Panel refresh with the Opportune Mission. It indicated that he could turn in the Mission and receive Mission Rewards.

Lu Fan naturally did not hesitate and chose to turn it in.

Instantly, the Dragon Scale Greatsword in his hand dispersed into points of light, and Lu Fan successfully gained the rights over the entire Shadow Isle.

A ‘Territory’ function suddenly appeared among his various Attribute Panels.

Lu Fan quickly opened it, and immediately, vast amounts of information appeared before his eyes.

Territory: Shadow Isle (Heaven Blessed Country Isle)
Territory Level: 2

Territory Size: 43,881 square kilometers

Territory Location: Black Sand Sea Region 3 (34834,57828)

Territory Resource Output: Shadow Spring Water, Shadow Isle Essence, Level 2 Gold Mine, Level 2 Shadow Stone Mine

Territory Monsters: 21,788

·         Level 80 Elite Monster – Shadow Swordsman 4,658, daily output 1,000, maximum 7,000

·         Level 80 Elite Monster – …

·         …

·         Level 85 Elite Monster – Shadow Spearmen 4,484, daily output 1,000, maximum 7,000

·         …

Territory Defencive Measures:

Shadow Curse – Storm Dragon Breath (Current Status: Active)

Shadow Mist (Current Status: Active)

The dazzling array of features and data left Lu Fan overwhelmed.

Lu Fan could even see a holographic projection of the entire Shadow Isle within the panel.

In the projection, Lu Fan could see the whole conditions of the island, including the locations of both mineral Map Resources, Monster positions, and the lightning, whirlpools, and water spouts outside the island.

The lightning, whirlpools, and water spouts continuously striking outside the island were actually part of the Shadow Curse – Storm Dragon Breath among the Territory Defencive Measures.

As long as the Territory Defencive Measures remained active, the entire island would be turned into a cursed isle that no one could approach.

If Lu Fan wished, he could disable the Territory Defencive Measures, allowing all ships to freely sail in.

However, this island would be his own private island in the future, and Lu Fan did not want just any Tom, Dick and Harry coming here.

Therefore, not only would Lu Fan not disable the Territory Defence Measures, he actually wanted to add several more.

Now, he could finally truly experience what it felt like to be a Territory Master.

He could control the entire island through the Territory Management Options.

He could even decide where the Monsters were distributed on the island.

This really gave him the feeling of playing a Base Builder Game, making Lu Fan feel incredible.

Out of curiosity, Lu Fan kept trying to study the various Territory Management Options, and indeed made many discoveries.

For example, Lu Fan could connect many of his Spaces with the Territory’s Space, such as his Inventory, Pet Sub-Space, Puppet Sub-Space, and so on.

In other words, the entire Shadow Isle was essentially Lu Fan’s logistics hub – in the future, Lu Fan would have no restrictions on carrying anything, he could just dump everything on Shadow Isle.

At the same time, the Pet Dragons and Fallen Corpse Puppets could all roam free on the island as protectors of Shadow Isle.

Moreover, Shadow Isle produced over ten thousand Monsters daily – these Monsters could not only protect Shadow Isle but also provide Lu Fan with a steady source of Experience Points.

Lu Fan could let the Pet Dragons and Fallen Corpse Puppets kill Monsters on the island independently, and he could still receive Experience Points while lying around elsewhere. It simply could not get any better than this.

Additionally, as the Territory Master, Lu Fan could return here anytime.

Among his Skills, he gained one called Territory Transportation. With just ten seconds of channeling, Lu Fan could open a Transport Array to Shadow Isle without consuming any materials.

It was incredibly convenient – with such an island as his own private domain, if he wanted a seaside vacation in the future, he would not need to fly to any coastal city. He could just open a Transport Array back here.

This Territory Management Options had many areas worth exploring, such as: how to expand the Territory Area, upgrading from Level 2 to 3, and etc.

Lu Fan accidentally spent an hour on the Management Options before finally realising that Senior Sister, Andrei and others were still waiting outside. He had finally realised he could not stay in the Dragon Domain to continue researching and testing..

After gaining a general understanding of the Territory Management Options, Lu Fan recalled his Baby Dragons and left the Dragon Domain.

When Lu Fan returned to Shadow Isle, Ye Wuxian immediately rushed over, gripping his shoulders looking him up and down, with a trace of anxiety in her eyes.

After confirming Lu Fan was fine, Ye Wuxian’s anxiety vanished, replaced by anger. “Why did you only come out now? Seriously! We waited here for you for more than an hour! If I hadn’t seen the Mission Fail, and known you had killed the Boss, I would have thought you had died to him.”

Lu Fan smiled apologetically: “Sorry, Senior Sister. After killing the Boss, I already obtained ownership of Shadow Isle. Now, I’m a Territory Master. Just now, in the Dragon Domain, I was too engrossed in studying the Territory Management Options and lost track of time, so I came out late.”

“You really became a Territory Master?!” Hearing this, Ye Wuxian’s thoughts of ‘scolding’ Lu Fan instantly vanished, replaced by intense curiosity about what kind of miracles he could do with a Territory of his own.

If even Ye Wuxian was like this, it was even more so for Andrei and the others.

These people present were either Ancient Noble Family descendants or heirs of Major Feather Country Families. Each one of them were absolutely the elite of the elite.

However, even people of their status had never met a Territory Master before. It was only natural, they were extremely curious about what abilities Lu Fan had after becoming a Territory Master.

Seeing everyone showing such interest, Lu Fan showed off ‘a little’.

He first controlled the Shadow Mist, making it disperse to only the outer edges of Shadow Isle, leaving the palace area where everyone stood clear.

Then, Lu Fan gathered some nearby Monsters. Soon, wherever people looked, black masses of Monsters gathered but did not attack anyone, completely obeying Lu Fan’s commands.

It seemed that on Shadow Isle, Lu Fan was like an absolute ruler who could control everything.
