Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 356, Wasn’t That Just One Hammer Strike?!

Translator: Silavin

Meanwhile…

Loong Xing was staggering forward, face covered in blood, walking quickly along the path, trying to get out of Dragon Capital University.

Many people who saw him pointed and whispered.

This time, however, they were not commenting on his handsomeness, but rather wondering how strange he looked and who had beaten him up so badly.

“Lu Fan!” Loong Xing’s eyes practically shot pit flames. His mind was filled with how Lu Fan had humiliated him.

[I, the Young Master of the Loong Family, humiliated by the likes of you! I’ll make you pay a hundredfold! So what if your Pet Dragons are strong? Our Loong Family’s Elder also cannot be underestimated! Once I return, I’ll embellish the story. I’ll stir up conflict between you and the Huang Family. I will make sure their hatred of you is no less than mine!]

[When that happens, my Loong Family would not even need to take action. Just Huang Yutian alone will be enough to deal with you!]

[Going against our Ancient Noble Families… even with Pet Dragons, what does it matter!? I’ll definitely slaughter all your Pet Dragons right in front of you!]

As Loong Xing was cursing in his mind through gritted teeth, he suddenly heard someone behind him call out. “Brother!”

“Who? Get lost! I don’t have time…” Loong Xing turned his head, about to curse.

However, as he turned, he saw a flaming hammer already at his face, carrying waves of scorching wind.

Normally, such an attack would not harm Loong Xing. After all, as a Fourth Profession Player, he had great awareness of his surroundings. Even if momentarily distracted by a sneak attack, he could quickly activate his Skills to block or dodge.

However it just so happened that today, Loong Xing’s mind was clouded by his hatred for Lu Fan. He was so consumed by it he had completely lowered his guard.

When he saw the hammer coming for his face, he tried to react. However, his injuries made him too slow to do so.

Thus, the hammer connected, smashing into his already badly bruised face.

With a muffled *bang!*, Loong Xing was sent flying, crashing heavily to the ground.

Old wounds combined with new ones made Loong Xing unable to bear it anymore, and he passed out.

“Holy shit! I’m actually that amazing? I actually managed to knock out a Fourth Profession Player with one strike of my hammer!” Andrei was stunned at first, then burst out laughing.

He put away his hammer and originally planned to sneak away. However, upon seeing how Loong Xing was unconscious, he thought for a moment, took out his phone, went to Loong Xing’s side, and made a ‘peace’ sign. Naturally, he had to take a selfie with him, and posted it online!

[So what if you are a Fourth Profession Player? Ha! Still got knocked out by me with just one strike! Say cheese!]

After he cemented his accomplishment, Andrei gleefully put away his phone and walked toward Villa No. 2 without another glance at Loong Xing.

Meanwhile, the surrounding students who saw the scene were all dumbfounded. They all questioned what just happened?

After all, someone got knocked out with a hammer strike inside the University, then the attacker just takes a photo and leaves? They questioned if this was some kind of custom from where this international student was from!? They could not help but see his brazenness as peculiar, and wondered if other international students were like this?

Finally, some kind people called the medical bay to carry Loong Xing away for treatment.

After returning to Villa No. 2, Andrei naturally had to drink with Lu Fan and Ye Wuxian.

When Lu Fan and Ye Wuxian saw the photo on Andrei’s phone, and heard Andrei boast about his legendary accomplishment – knocking Loong Xing unconscious with one hammer strike – they were both speechless.

[Brother, you sure are truly reckless! You already know that the other party is a Fourth Profession Player. Yet, you still dared to sneak up and strike him with your hammer?]

Fortunately, Lu Fan had already kicked Loong Xing half to death earlier. If Loong Xing had been in peak condition, would Andrei not be the one getting beaten up right now?

Whatever the case, Andrei…

Though reckless, was immensely reliable.

After showing off his ‘glorious achievement’, it was time for Andrei to bid them farewell. After all, he had only come here to discuss with Lu Fan about going to Shadow Isle together.

Now that this matter had been settled, Andrei needed to return to Feather Country to arrange everything.

Andrei told Lu Fan that his Family would quickly complete the Transport Array from Dragon Capital University to Breaking Waves Port.

Once the Transport Array was complete, someone would be sent to notify them. At that time, he would wait for Lu Fan at Breaking Waves Port to journey to Shadow Isle together.

Thus, Andrei bid farewell and left.

When the Transport Array would be completed was still unknown. Lu Fan thought for a moment and decided he could not waste any time.

[Come to think of it, since returning from Extremistis Country, I’ve rested for a long time, eating and drinking every day in Villa No. 2. My belly is already starting to bulge… no. This absolutely cannot be allowed! A person should not let themselves go like this!]

Lu Fan planned to use the time waiting for news from Andrei to get back in shape and continue Levelling Up.

Previously, Lu Fan had not felt any pressure to improve, so he just took his time, relaxing and resting for the past  few days without worry.

But now, with less than a month until he needed to journey to the Western Border, Lu Fan knew time was of the essence. Once he reached the Western Border, he would be facing off against several Fourth Profession Players, including even Level 99 top Players!

Though Lu Fan, as a ‘Father’, had confidence in his ‘Dragon Children’, being more prepared before the Western Border journey would not hurt.

Besides crafting the Shadow Dragon King Contract, he also wanted to help his Baby Dragons increase their Levels as much as possible.

If all of them entered their Maturing Period, or if Xiao Ye, who was the Highest Level, could enter her next state, Lu Fan would have more confidence in this journey to the Western Border.

Moreover, the ten Dungeon Instances Lu Fan had now all had their Transport Arrays completed. He could go and farm them anytime he wanted.

Even the Transport Array to the Death Desert Ocean Dungeon Instance had been rebuilt, so Lu Fan could farm it worry-free without concern about Extremistis Country causing trouble. After all, the newly empowered Liu Family was consolidating their rule in Extremistis Country and purging remnants of the Jin Family. They surely would not be foolish enough to provoke Lu Fan at this time.

Thus, Lu Fan had many choices for Dungeon Instances to Level Up in.

Over the next few days, Lu Fan took Jian Ying and others to these Dungeon Instances to farm Monsters and push for higher Levels.

…

Very quickly, close to a week had passed.

Lu Fan led his team to stay in a High Experience Points Dungeon Instance, barely coming out at all.

Though this period of intense Leveling was exhausting, the results were satisfying.

Setting aside Jian Ying and the others approaching Level 40…

Lu Fan had finally reached Level 45, unlocking a new Pet Slot. Now, he just needed one more Dragon Egg to get his seventh or eighth Pet Dragon.

With help from Accelerated Growth Aura, Xiao Ye’s Level had caught up to him, almost matching Lu Fan at Level 44.

Xiao Cui had reached Level 39, Xing Chen Level 33, and though Bao Bao started slow, his Level had not fallen too far behind, already reaching Level 25.

Living up to being the Strongest Magic Combat Specialised Dragon Species, at Level 25, compared to Level 10, Bao Bao had learned two new Skills and Lightning’s Favour had reached LV2.

Now the Lightning Power Bao Bao controlled was no longer Crimson Jade, but Bright Yellow Seal.

Compared to Crimson Jade, the Effect of Bright Yellow Seal left Lu Fan astounded.
