Chapter 384, Rebuilding the Shadow Isle

Seeing such miraculous scenes, Andrei and others were greatly shocked.

At the same time, Andrei looked at the ruins here and tentatively asked Lu Fan if, since he had such power on Shadow Isle, whether he could rebuild this torned Ancient City.

If that was possible, then Lu Fan could easily establish his own country here by claiming this to be his territory.

Lu Fan just smiled at this, saying he had no interest in establishing a country.

Moreover, although he was a Territory Master, what he could control was still limited. This Ancient City was in ruins, and he did not have the ability to make time flow backwards to restore it to its former glory.

The construction of buildings here would still require actual labour.

Currently, the entire Shadow Isle was basically in a state that needed complete reconstruction. There were many resources here, along with the Monsters. It also had Territory Defencive Measures like Shadow Curse and Shadow Mist, such that even Fourth Profession Players would not be able to break in. However, for Lu Fan to develop this island, he would still need to expend quite a lot of effort.

Not to mention anything else, just to make this place a vacation spot, there needed to be places to live, right?

The current most urgent matter should be the construction of buildings on Shadow Isle, and it would be even better if Defencive installations could be built.

Hearing this, Andrei immediately patted his chest and said. “If you want to develop this island, I can actually help you, Brother Lu. You may not know, but my Family is also known as the Bear God Totem Family. We revere strength the most. Besides having many Players inside our Family, we also have the most Engineers in Feather Country!”

Lu Fan nodded silently. This point could be seen from how Andrei was able to come to Shadow Isle on a warship – privately owned by his Family.

Andrei continued smiling. “Later, I can have the Family send some High Level Engineers to help you build some villas and residential buildings here. At the same time, we can also help you build Magic Barriers around Shadow Isle’s perimeter, making your island even more impregnable!”

“Really?!” Lu Fan was overjoyed, quite tempted by what Andrei said.

“Of course, we are Brothers. Lending you some Engineers is nothing.” Andrei grinned.

Lu Fan felt somewhat embarrassed and said. “But, the material costs for Engineers to build is infamous for being expensive. I may not be able to afford it…”

Andrei chuckled and patted Lu Fan’s shoulder: “Brother, you’re being too formal with me! Money is no issue. My Bear God Totem Family doesn’t lack money. What we lack is connections with someone like you!”

“This Shadow Isle Mission, without you, we couldn’t have completed it. Just by getting close to you is a benefit for my Family. In the future, for any thorny Missions, you’d definitely help my Bear God Totem Family, right? So, between us, there are mutually benefits. We can all share our resources. There is no need to be so particular about these things.”

Andrei was naturally generous, making him a pleasure to be around.

Lu Fan naturally did not act overly polite, he naturally accepted Andrei’s goodwill, and agreed that when they parted ways, Lu Fan would give Andrei ten Shadow Isle Map Fragments.

Andrei could give these Map Fragments to the Engineers in his Family, letting them create a plan for rebuilding Shadow Isle.

When all the design plans and materials were prepared, they could come find Lu Fan again, At that time, Lu Fan could open a Transport Array to send all the Engineers here to carry out the construction plan.

This process would not be completed in a day or two. After all, even for Andrei’s Family, it would take several months of preparation.

Before then, Shadow Isle could only maintain its current state.

After discussing with Andrei, Lu Fan suddenly remembered that everyone had focused their attention on him now being Shadow Isle’s new owner, almost forgetting about Andrei’s Epic Grade Mission.

Mentioning the Mission, Andrei seemed to recall something, and his expression turned somewhat difficult as he bitterly smiled. “Brother Lu, my Mission is to destroy the Shadow Spring Core. If I complete the mission, wouldn’t your Territory lose a Map Resource?”

Lu Fan just smiled at this and said. “Don’t worry about it, after becoming Territory Master, I understand Shadow Isle the most. Your Mission is to destroy the Shadow Spring Core, right? But how could a Map Resource like the Spring Core be so easily destroyed?”

Saying this, Lu Fan used his Territory Master Management Options to control the Shadow Spring’s water flow. Soon, the Shadow Source Water water level gradually decreased, revealing the Spring Core.

This Spring Core was a cave large enough for four people to embrace, with pitch-black spring water gushing up from inside.

However, notably, there was not just one cave, but rather like a Taij symbol, it was divided to have two outlets.

Currently, both outlets were wrapped in a pitch-black crystal. The black crystals extended deep into the caves, and it seemed this black crystal’s corruption had turned what was originally the Fortune Glowing Spring into the Shadow Spring.

Such a sight greatly amazed those present.

Lu Fan then told Andrei to boldly proceed and break the black crystals in one of the caves.

According to Lu Fan’s understanding of the Shadow Spring Core, as long as Andrei broke one of them, the Mission should be considered complete.

Seeing Lu Fan say this, Andrei naturally did not hold back. Taking out his war hammer and using Flame God True Form, he violently smashed down on the black crystals in one cave.

However, Andrei’s full-force attack did not cause any damage to these crystals.

This made Andrei lose face, and he swung his war hammer again, landing three more strikes, finally hearing a *bang* as the black crystals shattered and crumbled apart.

At this time, Andrei must have seen his Mission being Completed. That was why he had shown such joy.

The black crystal fragments transformed into white light, gathering before him to form three Mission Rewards wrapped in white light, waiting for Andrei to check and collect.

However, with the black crystals shattered in the cave he had struck, the Shadow Source Water within stopped flowing, seemingly drying up completely.

This made Andrei think he had damaged Shadow Isle’s Spring Core, causing the Shadow Source Water Map Resource to be halved, immediately filling him with regret towards Lu Fan.

Just as he was about to apologize to Lu Fan, he found that Lu Fan showed no disappointment at all. In fact, his expression showed anticipation instead as he kept staring at the dried-up Spring Core.

While Andrei was confused about why Lu Fan had such an expression, suddenly, a rush of water could be heard coming from the dried Spring Core.

Following this, with a *puff* sound bursting forth, and a stream of crystal-clear spring water emanating a faint glow shot up from the Spring Core. They sprayed high like scattered jade, completely different from the Shadow Source Water.
