Translator: Silavin

Fallen Corpse Magic Dragon (Special Dragon Species)
Level: 22

Strength: 5534

Agility: 5558

Mana: 5255

Endurance: 5482

Skills:

Fallen Corpse Magic Dragon Skin (Passive) – Damage Reduction of 75%.

Fallen Corpse Magic Armour (Active Skill) – For a certain period of time, release Fallen Corpse Magic to envelop the caster’s body. Caster will have 99% of Damage Reduction and also 100% Damage Reflection while this Skill is still active.

Fallen Corpse Control (Active Skill) – Release Fallen Corpse Magic to resurrect corpses that have died within two hours and control them. After resurrection, the corpses become Fallen Corpse Magic Dragon Puppets, with Attributes and Skills enhanced by 20%. Note: If the sum of the four Attributes is higher than the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragon, the Skill will not take effect. Fallen Corpse Magic Dragon Puppets can also be remotely controlled and stored in their Puppet Sub-Space.

Five Elements Dragon Breath (Active Skill) – Releases Dragon Breath of any Five Elements with considerable power. Elements consist of Fire, Water, Lightning, Earth, and Wind.

Extreme Speed Assault (Active Skill) – Enters rapid flight to engage with the enemies.

Dragon Language Unsealing (Active Skill) – Unseals Flying Dragon King’s Dragon Bloodline to release Dragon Language Magic. After use, the Five Elements Dragon Breath and Extreme Speed Assault transforms into Dragon Language Magic: Five Elements Dragon Incantation, and Apocalyptic Collision.

The Dragon Summoning Bone Flute Skill Level had increased by one, and the Cooldown had been halved. More importantly, what it summoned were no longer Flying Dragon Kings, but Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons!

The Fallen Corpse Essence had further evolved the Flying Dragon King’s Bloodline, from being infinitely close to a Giant Dragon to becoming a true Giant Dragon!

The reason it displayed ‘Special Dragon Species’ was, as Lu Fan guessed, because the Flying Dragon King became a true Giant Dragon by relying on the power of the Fallen Corpse Essence, rather than being born with Pure Blood Dragon Bloodline.

In any case, the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragon could definitely be considered a type of Pure Blood Giant Dragon. Compared to before, its Attributes had tripled, reaching half that of Xiao Ye, a Dragon King.

Their strength had at least tripled.

Now, the two Flying Dragon Kings, or rather, Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons, were definitely two powerful arsenals for Lu Fan. Even though their Combat Power was still far behind Xiao Cui, Xiao Ye, and even the not yet fully grown Xing Chen, these two Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons could basically solve most problems by themselves.

The Flying Dragon Kings, which were at best cannon fodder for Lu Fan in the past, were now entities that could hold their own.

If others knew that such powerful special Pure Blood Dragons were only considered ‘capable of holding their own’, they would probably be so angry they would spit out blood.

Having such Pets, let alone owning them, even just seeing them, would be enough for others to brag about for a lifetime. But for Lu Fan, even though the Flying Dragon Kings had evolved into Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons, it did not change the fact that they were the weakest two among Lu Fan’s Pet Dragons.

Notably, compared to the original Flying Dragon Kings, the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons had three changes besides their tripled Attributes.

First, the Flying Dragon King Skin had become Fallen Corpse Magic Dragon Skin, with further increases in defences. Now, they were able passively have a 75% Damage Reduction.

Although still far behind Xiao Ye’s Black Dragon Skin, it was still a 50% increase from the original Flying Dragon King Skin’s 50% Damage Reduction. This alone greatly enhanced their Combat Power.

At the same time, the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragon also had Fallen Corpse Magic Armour. They could have a Damage Reduction of 99%, basically almost making them Invulnerable. Furthermore, with 100% Damage Reflection, it was as though they had put on a layer of reflective armour!

They were already basically invincible, and now, using Skills against them would even result in Damage Reflection. Lu Fan got a headache just thinking about the opponents of the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons.

In the future, the two Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons could perfectly fulfill the role of meat shields just with Fallen Corpse Magic Armour. They could be used to torture enemies in various ways.

What surprised Lu Fan even more was the second newly appeared Skill – Fallen Corpse Control. After carefully reading this Skill, Lu Fan realised that this was exactly the same as how the Fallen Corpse Ancient God created Fallen Corpse Puppets.

As long as it was a corpse that had died within two hours, it could be resurrected and turned into a puppet, obeying the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragon. Did this not mean Lu Fan could build his own Fallen Corpse Army while grinding Monsters?

It was really interesting to think about. Xiao Cui was Lu Fan’s Pet Dragon, and the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons were Xiao Cui’s Summons. Now, the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons could have their own minions and could raise a Fallen Corpse Army…

[Is this going to develop into infinite nesting of Pets and Puppets!? If the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons also enslaved Summoning Type Monsters, that would add another layer to this nesting…]

[Although this Skill has limitations, not able to be applied on beings whose total Four Attributes exceeded that of the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragon, the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons are now beings with Giant Dragon Bloodline. With over 20,000 in total Attributes, basically no Nightmare Boss below Level 70 can surpass them…]

[In the future, when encountering Bosses, I should try out this Skill. After all, once the Bosses are turned into puppets, they could also be stored in the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragon’s Puppet Sub-Space. In the future, whenever cannon fodders are needed, these puppets could be released.]

Overall, the Fallen Corpse Essence had given Lu Fan two Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons, which could be said to be a substantial gain.

When Tu Jing learned that Lu Fan’s two Flying Dragon Kings had evolved into a Special Dragon Species, he could not help but heartily laugh, saying that Lu Fan had really picked up a huge bargain.

It was clear that apart from turning people into Fallen Corpse Slaves controlled by the Ancient God, if the creature that swallowed the Fallen Corpse Essence has great potential, it was very likely to have its potential fully awakened by this essence, thus becoming much stronger.

This could also explain why the Flying Dragon Kings evolved into Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons, and at the same time, why Charles obtained a new Hidden Profession and became stronger.

Now, Tu Jing was almost certain that the Star Strip Country representative, Charles, must have some connection with the Ancient Gods. It was almost undeniable that Charles was now an Ancient God Slave.

Lu Fan and Tu Jing had basically grasped the function of the Fallen Corpse Essence. At the same time, Lu Fan had also greatly benefited from it, tripling the strength of the Flying Dragon Kings, which could be said to be a huge boon.

However, Lu Fan’s curiosity about the Ancient Gods also grew stronger.

Lu Fan asked Tu Jing if their 13th Exploration Squad could continue the exploration Mission. Among the information Lu Luo had mentioned earlier, besides the Fallen Corpse Slaves having left the Far North, there was another crucial piece of information, which was the Fallen Corpse Ruin he mentioned.

Lu Luo said that there was a Fallen Corpse Ruin deeper inside, and he also asked everyone to prevent something from awakening.

Combined with the bronze temple in the Star Strip Country’s Holy Mountain Ruin, Lu Fan guessed that if they continued to advance along the body of the Blood Moon’s Owner, they might find the so-called Fallen Corpse Ruin.

Originally, Tu Jing still felt it would be dangerous for Lu Fan to continue the exploration Mission, because now there were too many things involved. The existence of the Ancient Gods had already exceeded the scope of Human understanding, and although Lu Fan was strong, his Level was still too low.

However, Lu Fan insisted on continuing the exploration Mission. Tu Jing thought for a moment and agreed to Lu Fan’s request.

Now that the Ancient Gods were reviving, it was just the beginning. The Mission to explore the Far North should not be too dangerous right now. However, it would only get worse in the future.

At this point, Lu Fan’s primary goal was still the National Trial Secret Realm. The exploration Mission was also one of the fastest ways for Lu Fan to improve his strength.

When taking these factors into consideration, Tu Jing agreed to let Lu Fan continue the exploration Mission, but required him to be extremely careful and to prioritise saving his own life if he encountered anything unusual.

After getting Tu Jing’s consent, Lu Fan went back to find Lui Fei and the others to continue the exploration Mission at the outpost.

As for the matter of the Ancient Gods, that would be for Tu Jing to worry about.

Back in the Wilderness, the four man squad continued to advance, exploring unknown areas on the body of ‘that thing’, making them into maps to be included in the Dragon Country’s territory.

The road ahead was the same as before they met Lu Luo. Everyone advanced through the blizzard, killing Monsters and Snow Women that blocked the way, striving to explore forward.

However, Shen Cai, who was already not talkative, became even quieter.

It was understandable. Her biggest motivation for exploring this place had been buried on the path they had travelled past. The only reason for her to persist in this icy world was merely her duty as a member of the Griffin Legion. How could she be in any mood to chat with everyone?

The blizzard continued for another seven days.

Finally, on the eighth day, the weather cleared up, stars once again filled the sky, and even the aurora could be seen hanging high, lasting for a long time, which was a beautiful sight.

By this time, Lu Fan had led Lui Fei and the others to advance about 300 kilometres.

Adding to their previous exploration results, everyone had travelled a full thousand kilometres on the body of the Blood Moon’s Owner.

The journey of over a thousand kilometres finally brought everyone to the rear of its body, completely unveiling the outline of its body. In other words, its body was over a thousand kilometres long, which was too big to comprehend!

Originally, Lu Fan suspected it should be some kind of existence similar to the Dragon Race, but when the entire body was outlined, Lu Fan found that this was not the case.

Compared to Dragons, it looked more like a crocodile lying on the ground. It had four sturdy limbs, a huge head, and its tail was as long as its body, extending towards the deeper parts of the Far North, with no end in sight.

Because its entire body was covered in ice and snow, Lu Fan and the others could only explore the outline of its body, and could not determine its specific appearance.

Unless this huge being really came to life and walked out of the icy layer filled with snow…

After exploring the outline of this enormously huge body, Lu Fan and the others did not stop exploring.

Even though they had explored its outline, there was still some distance to the coordinates of Lu Fan’s Divine Grade Treasure Map, and Lu Fan still needed to continue forward.

Fortunately, with the blizzard had stopped and everyone could advance faster. Lu Fan believes there would be no problem reaching the Treasure Map coordinates before the National Trial began.

After another three days of exploration, Lu Fan led Lui Fei and the others to the coordinates of the Divine Grade Treasure Map.
